Long Lasting Quality

This review comes from my wife: Great quality sandals! This is the third pair of (tan) sandals I've purchased for my 4 yr. old daughter. She has small feet so she fits her shoe size for about a year. For that reason, I look for quality, not quantity and these fit the bill. They are cute, go with many things from cute dresses to casual shorts. Mainly for summer but here in TX it's warm most of the time so these are worn spring, summer AND fall. She's received many compliments on these and moms are always asking where I found them.. When she's done with them they are still in great shape enough to be resold at the kid's consignment store. I highly recommend these shoes!!

Our favorite sandal for the kids!

Seriously, we love these Salties! This was our second pair for our little girl. First pair was when she was a year old, second pair when she was two. It's hot where we live and these sandals hold up so well for days when we're out doing a lot of walking. Playing, sweating etc. as long as they're broken in, we've never had an issue with blisters or painful feet. Love the tan color, they go well with everything. We even dressed them up on occasion. We tend to order them early in sandal season (Mar-Oct) and get a size up. So for example, when my daughter was newly two and a size 6, we got her the size 7. We adjusted the straps so they fit snug and she did fine. By the end of sandal, season she was a size 8 and still squeezing into them. They held up wonderfully even with daily wear so we will be able to hand them down to our son. If you're worried about the cost for a child's shoe, they are totally worth it. Especially if you can hand them down. They are so cute and versatile, I recommend them to anyone who asks about summer footwear for little kids.

Perfect sandals!

I have bought these for my kids for the past 6 years in many sizes. This style has been worn by my boys and my girls. We love the light brown color. They have never complained of discomfort. They can be worn in messy nature adventures, a long hike, in any body of water, or cleaned up and worn dressed up. My personal favorite sandals ever!

Best sandals ever!!!!

In 2014 I bought the same pair in pink for my daughter. It fit her perfectly and she looked so cute in it. At the end of the summer, after washing them, I passed it down to my niece. The sandals were in great shape. This summer I bought the same style for my son and I'm Im very happy with them! I bought them in two colors, green and blue. The greem was very shiny and bright so we returned them but we kept the blue ones.

Great kid sandals

These sandals are adorable and stable for toddlers new to walking. My daughter loves taking her velcro shoes off and throwing them in the middle of stores so these are pretty great since they are the only shoes she can't take off. I will definitely keep buying these sandals as she outgrows them. Excuse the scuffs on the sandals in the pictures, as you can see they are well loved but still in great condition after several months.

Good for toddlers with narrow feet

My two year old has narrow feet and Saltwaters are the only sandals I have found that I can adjust to stay around her ankle properly, and to fit across the top of her foot. The leather is good quality - she always wears them straight out of the box for days on end and has never had a blister or complained of pain. They are flat, so probably have little arch support (I'm not an expert!), but I think the benefit of having something that doesn't fall off her foot is better. They fit absolutely true to size in length. The other style of Saltwaters for kids, with the braided front without a buckle, are better for standard / wide footed kids. They are too wide for my little girl.

great for toddlers with wide feet!

what else can you say about these! my toddler with wide feet fits this model but no other model of saltwater. her feet are too chunky for other sandals including freshly picked and native. i guess they’re like little baby cinderblocks :). anyway, our family has enjoyed these extremely durable, neutral, adorable sandals forever!!

Cute, functional, comfy

Got these for my 1.5 year old, and she pretty much wears them daily. Loves them, gets compliments, etc. Pre-soaking is a must! Soak in warm water for 10 minutes or so, then strap to your kid for a while. Really softens the leather and helps form to the foot. I followed sizing guidelines on their website, and that did fine. She has some room to grow at the toe, but they aren't so big to look clownish.

These are adorable! My daughter's feet are on the narrow side. But these sandals have a strap that lets you adjust to the width of the kids feet. Also she got wet with them and they're good as new :)

Durable and go with everything!

We love these shoes! With two little girls, we get a couple pairs a year. The only time we have to get new ones is when we size up. They are durable and can be cleaned up with a magic eraser. My littlest one (14 months) can’t get them off (yay!) and my 4 year old can independently get them on and off (yay!). Highly recommend. Sizing is true to size.
