kept our guitar and case in perfect condition!
We had to ship our guitar from Kauai to WA state and had several choices in how to do this. Take it on the plane as checked baggage or mail it via one of the major carriers. After much discussion, we decided to mail it via USPS. Unfortunately, this is not the place to review USPS as there are a number of things I'd love to say about that carrier. Suffice to say, next time we'll mail it via camel express before entrusting anything to the USPS. Anyway, the box was very sturdy and thick which ended up being a great thing because it appears that while on the journey across the ocean, the guitar shipping box decided to jump in a deep fryer or perhaps had a nice time sunning itself out in a greasy puddle somewhere. There is oil ALL over the box. Soaked through almost to the inside. BUT, this box is truly awesome. Not only did it not soak through to the inside, it kept the guitar and case cozy and snug and they emerged after their eventful journey unscathed and ready to go. In the end, if you need a box that will handle just about anything the USPS can throw at it, this is it.

Worked perfectly
I had to send a guitar from Florida to Hawaii so I wanted the best box I could find at a reasonable price and this one seemed like it would work and it did. I had the guitar in a cloth case and packed it with bubble wrap and sent it via USPS. My grandson got it without any damage at all.

It works
Kind of expensive for 1 box but it worked for me. Box could be a little thicker for the money and better protection, it arrived in good condition though and my guitar fit well with a little extra room for other packing materials to put in between guitar case and box .

good quality
On my cross country move I didn't have space in my car for my guitars, so invested in these expensive boxes. My belongings were shipped in a POD so the risk was kind of high. I loosened the strings on my guitars, and wrapped the guitars in pillows and linens. It wasn't exactly a professional job, but they were unscathed when I unpacked them. I folded up the boxes (since they were so expensive) and stuffed them behind a couch for my next move. In addition, the box arrived in another long thin box, which I was able to use to pack my artwork in! Double whammy!

Sturdy.
I used it to ship a bass guitar in it's SKB case. A little short with the case inside but did the job. It is half the price of similar products I could find.

Shipped two guitars using these boxes. The recipients have both responded back on how well the guitars were packed. These boxes are rugged and fit both an electric and acoustic guitars with cases with enough room left over to wrap them in bubble wrap and packing paper. I could have dropped them off a 10 story building and the guitars would probably have been unharmed.
