Great learning tool for children

I bought this as a gift for my children prior to a deployment so they can better understand where I'll be. Turns out to be a great present as my 3 and 6 year old are constantly exploring it. It is sturdy, however I will not let my kids use it unsupervised because I'm sure it can be broken if dropped.

I really enjoy my globe, with all the things going on in the World I wanted to see exactly where it was happening. This is very nice and just what I wanted. It is very clear and put together very nice.

The large size of the globe makes it easy to find locations. It is excellent quality for a good price and is well enough constructed for older children or adults. It was packaged well was in excellent shape on arrival.

Excellent detailed globe.

The level of detail on this globe is amazing. Even the ocean ridges and basins are marked. Only issue is how light weight the base is. Have to hold it down to twirl it.

Long ago, I had a similar product. This is what I have been looking for a few months. I actually keep it in our living room. Handy when we need to look up someplace in the world. Our grandkids love it, too. It is our second one in about 30 years!

Sometimes being big is a merit. This excellent globe will give buyers a totally new understanding of the Big Picture and overall situation of geographical and political landscape of the world that we, more than 7 billion human beings, live on. It's just worthwhile because the 2D map will surly lack fidelity when you compare high-latitude countries with low-latitude countries and the previous ones seem to be larger than it actually is. So all in all, this is a good deal and $50 is indeed nothing for Americans, even though it's a little bit expensive for us, Chinese students.

This was a gift for our grandson, who was delighted to receive it and immediately wanted us to give him places to find. It is a flat globe but has the mountains and valleys showing very clearly in the print. Very pleased with the product.
