Works

Works as expected. One thing with high amp products, it might spark sending be surprised. I was in my dry garage during the rain when plugged it in and there was a small spark and noise but I was expecting this. I wish there was a ground on the wall side but understand they attempted to make this country agnostic and wide support.

Must have for the ‘68

A must have for any CTECK user! This is on my 68 GTO and I have it wired so the comfort connector stays on the battery terminals and comes out of the grill. All you need to do is route it away safely down and through the front grill. I have it secured in such a way I can easily disconnect my car from the wall charger unit and tuck the comfort connector away until I pull the car back in the garage. My only gripe is that this unit didn’t come with a rubber end cap. Easy fix though because I took the one off the wall charger unit. The car is going to see more of the elements than the charger in my garage so it only makes sense that the comfort connector would be capped off. All in all, one of the best investments for any classic car owner/collector. Thanks Jay(Leno) for putting me on to CTEK!

Perfect addition to the CTEK charger

Batteries die in the cold and rainy weather, my old charger had 3 foot leads and a 6 foot AC cord that required me to try to waterproof the cord and charger during use. This extension cable allows me to place the charger in the garage and charge the batteries while the cars are in the driveway. Perfect solution and addition to a great battery charger

So far so good.

Just what I needed, purchased a CTEK 560352 to connect to the car battery, mounted the CTEK Battery Tender on the wall close to the AC outlet, and used the extension cord to connect the two. Made cable management a breeze, the added resistance load due to the longer cable was a concern but the Battery Tender so far has been able to cycle through it's various charging/tender modes without any issues. Will keep an eye on the tender to see if the longer cable has any effects in regards to longevity.

Works Perfectly

This specialized slender extension cord works perfectly. The ends are idiot-proof and can only mate one way with the charger unit or with other cables. These cables latch securely, but disconnect immediately when pressing a thumb plate. Note that the extension cords are only usable with CTEK chargers and cables. This cord can be slender, because it is carrying a relatively small current from the charger to your car, boat, generator, etc. battery. The less desirable alternative is to use a heavy, thick extension cord from the wall outlet to the charger. This would be necessary because of the greater current going the cord.

Great extension cord for the Comfort Connect cable!

Wanted to get the wiring for my CTEK 3300 cleaned up and reclaim a 50' heavy duty extension cord I'd been using on the AC side of the battery maintainer, so I pulled the trigger on this 'Comfort Connect' (aka 12V/cigarette lighter) extension cable. As always, it arrived in two days thanks to Prime. What can I say? It's an extension cable and it works like a champ. If you're currently using the 'Comfort Connect' adapter for your CTEK maintainer and need an extension cable, this is the item for you.

I needed it, no alternatives

Overall a completely solid productd, high quality manufacturing, and gives me the extra length I need, exactly as descxribed. That said it is pricy for what it is, and there aren't any alternatives. However in the big picture it is a tiny cost compared to all the other things one buys for maintaining a classic sports car.

Must have if you want some slack for under a car cover.

This allowed me to charge my Honda Accord while its still under the car cover in my garage. When you connect to the CTEK you end up close to 10' of cord. I love the design of these cables and the connectors fit so snug.

Useful extension!

A nice extension for connecting from the charger to the battery. This allows the charger to placed outside the engine and even away from the vehicle being charged. It is designed to be used with other CTEK Components keeping the + and - leads connected correctly.

if you buy a CTEK charger.. make life easier with this cable

it makes it longer so you can plug it in more conveniently. exactly as you would expect. both ends water sealed just as the others so you can plug it in outside and trust it wont short out. i would argue 1 of these should come in the kit, but its all good still a great product
