Let me start off by saying I've been getting tattooed since 2009. I've always used the same set up: medical antibacterial soap and aquaphor. Never varied from that and I've never had an issue. With this latest addition to my arm sleeve, I had a terrible reaction to the aquaphor. I broke out into a rash with itchy and burning hives. And I was desperate for something to cover this fresh tattoo with. I got tattooed on a Sunday and by Tuesday I was freaking out. I saw good reviews on this and I went for it. Hustle Butter. Holy. Crap. First off, it got here 3 days earlier than I expected. Second, it's better than I imagined. Within hours my tattoo was feeling and looking much better. I haven't lost any ink, save the inking that always happens a few days post tattooing. It looks incredible. It keeps my arm moisturized without a greasy film or transfer onto my clothes which the Aquaphor always caused. And, the rash was completely gone after just one day of using it. It also has brightened up older sections of my arm which are colored. I'll never use anything again. Hustle Butter, you've got a lifetime customer now.

I had 2 new tattoos added to my left arm, one on the forearm and one on my triceps. I was following the typical protocol, cleaning and using Aquafor several times a day. I made a mistake in that I started lifting weights too soon before the tattoos were healed and caused swelling and damage that really set me back. I looked through products online that were recommended for faster healing and found Hustle Butter. I ordered a tub from Amazon and now that I'm fully healed, cannot say enough good things about the product. It is a little thick, but absorbs in well. It has a great smell that is almost tropical. You will need to wash your hands after applying, it will leave a "film" on your fingers. Note that a tub goes a really long way. I started applying it to all my tattoos to keep the skin in top condition. I'll continue to use Hustle Butter going forward, it works for both new tattoos and keeping existing in tip-top shape. Buy it!

Literally the 2nd jar im buying. I first saw a friend of mine using it at work amd love the results for her when her tattoo was healing. Fast forward a few months and i purchased a 5 oz jar in november, shipping was fast and arrived in 2 days. Used this on my tAttoo that i had done for my wrist, which is small so it was perfect. Went on really smooth, not too thick, and i love the fact its not sticky and heavy or really greasy. When i was healing there wasnt a moment where my skin felt dry. Now im finishing up on the first jar with my second tattoo. Its a large piece that covers a majority of my thigh and hip. I asked my artist if he could use this during the process and he kept telling me he loved using it the while time, it wasnt thick. Ive used it during this healing process as well and normally a little goes a long way but it also depends on the tattoo. Ive had no problems with anything transferring over to my sheets, no grease spots on my clothes. Ive had tattoo goo and aquaphor amd i can tell u hands down this is the best aftercare ive ever had for my tattoos.

Ok so I’ve had my tattoo for about 10 days and it’s been going through the peeling process. Doing the antibacterial and aquaphor process. Well the itching was ridiculous and also aquaphor is pretty messy and greasy. Read the reviews on this and thought I give it a try. Received it in the mail today and right away I wanted to slather this stuff on my tattoo. First of all you don’t need to gob it on a dime size on your index finger will go a long way. I actually two fingered it and wow it was a little too much but you can rub it all over your arm if you have terrible dry skin like me. That’s another thing my skin is super dry and it doesn’t help with the tattoo healing process. This stuff is amazing and smells great. So far my arm has not itched all day and it’s keeping it moisturized pretty well. I recommend buying this.

I really enjoy using this product. A little bit goes a long way, but I have really liked just slathering a bunch on my tattoo. It's very soothing and smells delightful. The scent isn't so strong that other people can smell it though. It can be a little greasy if you slather like me, but that didn't bother me at all. It's just better for the tattoo. The moisture this stuff provides lasts a very long time. In the past, I remember needing to remoisturize about every 30 minutes to control the dryness and itching. With this stuff, it lasts way longer than between washes. I can tell that it's made a huge difference in scabbing too. I have a tattoo that takes up half my arm that's a week and a half old and there are absolutely no crusty or dry looking scabs. This product will be my go to for all future tattoos.

I have tried several types of products for tattoo care for my tattoos. First was the typical Aquaphor which for me was too topical and didn't seem to soak into my skin much resulting in it drying out over night. Then I tried Hempz which did a good job, however I also found out I was allergic to it and made me break out real bad (luckily didn't ruin my tattoo). So I hoped on Amazon to see what reviews were on other products and came across this. Read many great reviews and figured I'd give it a go when I went in for some touch up. I used it as the instructions say about before tattooing I used it several days before my appointment then used it a couple times the day after my appointment and have only had to apply it a few times a day. Even through the night it remains moisturized and not dried out. Even after day one I noticed a big difference in the healing and I couldn't be happier with the process of the butter. Even if you sleep on it you can feel your skin stays moisturized and not dried out. I will definitely be using this product for all of my tattoo work!

Okay, so my tattoo is a week fresh. I ordered this while my tattoo was extremely itchy. It was unbearable. Right now, my tattoo is in the flaky stage. My tattoo artist told me after 3-5 days of using A&D, to switch over to Eucerin. Eucerin sucked. It did not moisturize. My tattoo felt dry and tight. Once I got this Hustle Butter, I immediately ripped it opened, washed my arm and slathered it on my tattoo. Miracle. It's the only thing that's actually hydrating my arm! This stuff is amazing. It actually looks/ feels like whipped butter. It's all natural, it smells great and it lasts a good amount of time! No problem with the delivery or how it arrived. It arrived on a 95 degree day, so I was expecting the worst. It arrived perfect and not melted!

10 days of using this stuff, and my entire arm sleeve is almost completely healed. I just cannot get enough of this stuff, plus it smells fricking amazing, like mangos and papayas and who doesn't love that?! Sat in a chair for 6 hours to start a traditional Japanese sleeve. Applied Hustle Butter before and after the session. It's been 9 days and tomorrow will be the 10th day with my new sleeve. Washing and cleaning and applying Hustle Butter 3 times a day as recommended and I could not be happier. I swear, 10 days and my arm feels almost completely smooth and with little to no irritation and/or scabs. Peeling happened so naturally as it should, and did I mention...it took 10 days to heal a full arm! I have and been using every other tattoo care product(Tattoo goo, aquahor, H2ocean, etc) and this is definitely my go to. Smells great, works greats, feels great, plus you get a huge tub for $15. :)

I always thought I needed to use Aquaphor for my post tattoo care. I never liked the feel of it. I researched online and found excellent recommendations for this product, Hustle Butter. My tattoos love it. I love it. The product says this is for before, during and after... seriously folks, that is not a lie. I just added new ink to my torso and ONLY used this product for my 'during' care. My tattoo looks amazing. It healed better with Hustle Butter than with Aquaphor. It is light and goes on easily. Its texture is non-greasy and has a great odor. My older tattoos from a few years ago have only known Hustle Butter and they look fresh and new. I paid good money for my body art and I do not want to ruin the colors with sun damage, water damage and lack of care. Hustle Butter earns me compliments on the vividness and health of my tattoos. I would never use anything else on my tattoos. This product is a blessing.

I ordered this from a recommendation from my brother from his artist for his tattoos. My appointment for my tattoo is in a week as of this review but I am using it as a moisturizer until then. It smells absolutely amazing with hints of mango and coconut. Some reviews say it’s like a scrub, but that’s not the case for me. Just has the consistency of body butter, not greasy or anything. I will update later as I see fit! Definitely recommend Update: It has been 2 weeks since I’ve had my tattoo and this stuff is awesome. Coupled with using Saniderm for the first healing stage then transitioning to the Hustle Butter for the second stage, my tattoo is looking vibrant and my skin feels plump and healthy! And it smells amazing. Definitely 5/5 stars and will use again on my next piece. The pics are the day I got the tattoo and then 2 weeks later
