This stuff works REALLY well...
I bought this for the guide rods on my table saw's blade lifting mechanism; it used to take me two hands to get the d@mn blade up, and it kept getting worse...I thought the thing was broken and if I'd kept going on like that it probably would be by now. After spraying the rods down with this stuff I can crank the blade all the way up with one hand at top speed. Now I'm using it on my planer, my jointer, and anything else where metal is sliding against metal in a dusty environment. Everything I put it on glides as smooth as silk. This stuff is great and lasts a pretty long time before it needs to be reapplied. Keep a can in your toolbox, you'll be amazed at the uses you'll find for it.

Amazing for firearms
I use this on certain points of my firearms. My PS90 moving part group (springs and front rods) charging handle slides, trigger rods etc. Makes operation stupid smooth, doesn't attract dirt, repels powder, and protects with the durability of PTFE. On my Beretta PX4-9 I use it on all operational springs including the captive recoil spring, the slide contact points, basically my all out gun lube!

Squeaky laminate floor solution
Used this to silence squeaky floor boards, worked like a charm. To clean up excess, you can use alcohol.

Works great for car door/hood hinges
I was curious due to other positive reviews so I've been using this lately instead of white lithium spray on my car door and hood hinges. It seems to lube them as well and not leave as much of a residue which is great. It was actually a few dollars cheaper on Amazon than in my local Lowes.

Great Stuff!
PTFE or “Teflon” is DuPont’s brand name for polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). This stuff is a great lubricant and very effective for corrosion resistance (it “repels” water). It does everything that the manufacturer claims that it will do.

Great dry lubricant for home and automotive
Got this stuff to do some rust protection and lubrication around the house. I use this on door locks in the house and on the car. Use a dry lubricant such as this when: • You have tiny parts that shouldn’t be gunked up by grease or oil that will attract dust • You need to keep the surrounding surfaces clean • Your surfaces are exposed to extremely high heat or pressure, which would typically oxidize oils (use up to 500F) Don’t use when: • Your surfaces are exposed to solvents or other liquids that can wash them away Use Examples: • Power tools, Locks, door hinges, cabinet hinges, window tracts, threaded rods, 3D printer rails

Best deal on a PTFE/Teflon spray lubricant
I've used Elmer's Slide-All teflon lubricant for years. Teflon lubes will not attract dirt, as regular WD-40, 3-in-One Oil or many other lubricants would, and can be sprayed into places where it would be hard to get graphite to go. Also, unlike graphite, it dries clear, almost invisible, and tends to stay where it's put. There are several companies which make a teflon-based dry lube. The WD-40 product has several advantages: - its the cheapest teflon lube I could find - the built-in spray tube is a huge help - its available in places like Lowes and Home Depot with other WD-40 products One thing to watch out for: the dry lube itself is totally non-reactive, and will work on pretty much anything. But the solvent used to carry it will melt some plastics, such as the threads on a battery powered gadget I lubricated last week. In a case like this, you might be able to spray a paper towel, let most or all of the propellant evaporate, then rub it on the plastic item you want to lubricate. Competing products include: - DuPont Teflon Nonstick dry-film lubricant - 3M 08897 Silicone lubricant (dry type) - Superlube 31110 Aerosol - Elmer's E450 Slide-All - CRC03044 Dry PTFE Lubricating Spray

Great product that works
This has worked amazingly well. We had a squeaky fan in our furnace that was making us all crazy. We tried regular WD-40 and went through several cans before I saw this on Amazon. It needed 2 applications and something that squeaked all the time, daily, hourly. Has stopped. It has been weeks since it squeaked. We are so pleased with this product. It works!!

Like it
Great for the shop. I use it instead of oil on vises and other tools because it will not hold the small pieces of metal that are flung off by endmills and drill bits. Although every shop manual tells you to oil your tools, the oil is like flypaper - everything sticks to it, including dust. With this product, all you do is brush off the unwanted material. Provides good lubricity (low coefficient of friction) and keeps tools clean and dry. Good product.

Excellent Dry Lube
I used this dry lube on my 5th wheel trailer landing gear legs because wet lubricants attract dirt and grime. When extending or retracting the landing gear legs, they should move up and down easily and with little effort. Prior to using the WE-40 Dry Lube, both extending and retracting the landing gear required a hammer to force the legs either up or down due to the accumulation of dirt and grime. This problem has been remedied with this dry lube. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an exceptionally easy to use dry lube.
