Bought this for my fiance because he was using some old Craigslist one. It is so nice to hear him outside working on projects and not yelling because his battery is already dead. It's great because he can use it with all of his Ryobi tools, which makes it easy for him to switch between projects.

Charges fast. Is always ready for action since I leave it plugged into the charger when not using it. This is not a problem since the charger is "smart enough" to not over-charge. So lightweight... only a fraction of the old nicad battery pack. I don't know how long the service life is since I've had it for only a short time.

Great Well-Made Product - Recommended

I bought two of these batteries and they work great! I find them to be equal to the one's I have puchased at Home Depot and highly recommend them.

This is great. About 4 months ago we bought an "Arctic Cove" misting fan (you know the ones that go on Home Depot orange buckets) and its a great product. However during swim meets we needed an extra battery. Well I bought this combo (having to review both parts separately). Anyhow, the battery and charger are fast and great. I would but it. I might actually get some Ryobi tools now.

Reasonable Price for a Ryobi Lithium Battery

I just needed a extra Ryobi P102 18 Volt One Lithium Battery for my new Ryobi Grinder! Amazon was the only one at had it at a reasonable price - other retailers were asking outrageous prices! The Ryobi lithium battery usually only takes about 30 minutes to charge at the most!

Good alternative to the old nicad oneplus batteries

i had the old nicads and all but one of four failed me. i have too many tools to just give up so i thought to try the lion batteries. all i can say is so far so good. it fits all my one+ tools that i have picked up over the past five years or so. i will update this IF i have any problems or issues but for now this is a much better battery than the nicads that came before. fyi these cannot use the old nicad chargers you need the newer versions that charge all versions of the oneplus batteries lion, nicad. just be sure to use a charger that is good for what is being charged or end up with overheated batteries that are ruined because and it takes only once, you used the wrong charger. don't cut corners with your charger as you'll pay one way or another.

A good buy for yard work!

So glad I bought a back up battery for my Ryobi trimmer. I use both batteries regularly and this back up battery gives me extra work time. Fits perfectly in my trimmer and my battery charger. Highly recommend for the busy yard worker.

Small But Powerful

I needed an additional battery for my various Ryobi tools and saw that not only did this one have good reviews but the price was very good. Although this wasn't delivered under my Prime membership, I received it within 3 days. Very impressive! I read that it came charged, so I immediately put it in my weed eater and started using it. It worked great. It wasn't totally charged, but it lasted as long as I did. I then set it up on the charger, and went back to check on it in a few hours and it was totally charged. It is great to have 2 batteries to change out for my various tools. So far, so good.

Original Battery Replacement

I tried a generic replacement battery and it would not keep a charge regardless of how long it was on the charger. This battery is a Ryobi and is the exact same as the original battery. Life is longer than the one it is replacing. The original one is about 5 years old and I can only get enough charge out to finish the front yard. The new one works perfectly for the front, back and side yard.
