Just installed in a 2014 ford f150 no issues at all. Nice seat just ordered one for my car. ** UPDATE ** Still like the seat but how many people didn't read the set up directions and still have the plastic cup under their booster seat thinking they didn't get one? LOL people................ come on. It's one of the steps in setting up the seat.....

We just replaced the last car seat like this we had after being in a accident. Our car flipped three times on the highway and my son emerged without a scratch. As soon as we were safe at home I cam here to order the same seat again because I was so impressed with how well it kept him safe. It's also very easy to install and not too wide. Wish we hadn't had the opportunity to test it out in such awful circumstances, but now will tell everyone we know how grateful we are to this car seat.

I have purchased four of these child restraint seats. I was recently involved in a car accident in which I was rear-ended and slammed into two other cars. My four year old was restrained in the Graco Affix Youth Booster Seat seat at the time. The car seat did exactly what it was designed to do and my child walked away with no injuries. This seat gets two thumbs up from my family!!

I have been using this seat for at least 2 years for my daughter. We were recently in an accident involving a semi. The impact was on the side of the car where my she was sitting. This seat kept her head and body amazingly stable. I will be purchasing this seat again since I have to replace her last one (the crash was definitely not minor).

I bought four of these for my two kids (x2 cars), and I am so happy with the purchase! Not only do my kids love them, but they are much lower profile than the convertible seat (Britax Boulevard 70-G3) and harness-to-belt-positioning-booster (Britax Pinnacle ClickTight in one car and RECARO Performance Sport in the other) that they were in previously, which means my cramped back seat (Volvo XC60) is no longer cramped. Same with my husband's Volvo S60. My older son can buckle and unbuckle himself without assistance, which was a problem with the RECARO seat. My younger son hasn't quite figured out buckling himself in but is getting there. He can unbuckle himself just fine (and is old enough to know not to do that until we are at our destination). They both find the seat very comfortable, I love that the cupholder is not permanently attached to the seat and thus can be removed and washed. There are very few nooks and crannies for crumbs to get into, either. The thing that attracted me to this seat was the fact that it attached to the car using the LATCH system. I understand that it is the seatbelt, and not the LATCH anchors, that is securing my children in the car. However, I like using the LATCH because it means that the seats stay put in the car when my kids aren't occupying them. In other words, I don't have to have the seats buckled in when they are unoccupied. (Obviously when they are occupied when they are buckled.) As far as assembly and installation, both were super easy. The cupholder is secured in the bottom of the seat when you take the seat out of the box and comes out easily. Once we assembled one seat, which took about 10 minutes, and knew what we were doing, the other three took about 3-5 minutes each. Each seat took about a minute and a half for my husband to install. (Vacuuming and cleaning the seats after removing the previous seats took far longer!) I want to address a couple of things that almost deterred me from buying this seat. First was the fact that people had issues with the LATCH straps' being too tight or only tightening on one side. My husband said that he didn't have this issue, as he followed the instructions in the manual. Second was the fact that a lot of people complained about the headrest section's not clicking into place and sliding down when raised to accommodate a taller child. I happened to see a much more recent review wherein someone mentioned that their seats, which were purchased in 2017, did not have this issue. As such, I figured Graco had corrected this issue and bit the bullet, figuring I could return the seats if the headrest wouldn't stay put when raised (I have to raise it for my older child). On all four seats, it had no issue at assembly and continue to have no issues after being driven around for quite a while, so it appears to me that Graco has fixed it.

First off, the main reason I am writing this review is to defend the latch system. Prior to purchasing this seat I read several reviews dinging the latch system for only tightening fully on one side, leaving the other with a little slack. Since this was really the only negative I read i decided to purchase and see for myself. Just as I suspected there are 2 overlapping pulls on the front of the base. If you pull them individually they each tighten a latch. One tightens the left and one tightens the right. So...the seat is tightly tethered on both sides. I am assuming most people that are complaining are pulling the straps simultaneously since they are on top of each other. This is the best system. Other system Ive had to tight the latches from the back and then when wanting to unlatch loosening them from the back to get enough slack was a pain. All of this is simply done from the front system and a push of a button loosens them. Im not one to read instructions...I get anxious and just start putting things together. It was easy to assemble and figuring out the latch system on the fly was easy too. But one thing, if your like me and dont pull out the instructions right away, a small tip...the cup holder needs to be attached and it is stored under the base of the seat. I looked in the box for a bit and thought something was left out. But I found it. I purchased 2 other seats this week prior to settling on this one. I bought a Harmony and 2 days later returned it because the cup holders are right under the armrest. Made it impossible for my son to fit his taller sippy cups. A starbucks Grande water cup wouldnt fit either. I couldnt have that so I exchanged it for an evenflo Big Kid Advanced booster in Luca. that seat smelled like cat urine. We put it in the car and the next day the entire car smelled. Gone!! So third times a charm for sure. Super happy with this seat. Looks great, its comfortable, there is a cup holder for taller drinks, a storage cubby, doesnt smell and best of all..... an easy to use, secure latch system.

I have had this booster seat for over a year now and I still love it. It is comfortable for my kids. The covers come off easily and are machine washable. It meets or exceeds all safety standards. It is easy to adjust the head of the high back according to the height of your child. The high back can easily detach when the child is tall/heavy enough to be in a simple booster seat. The cup holder is large enough for all the kids' water bottles, the hideaway drawer stores small toys or crayons for the kids. The latch system keeps the booster seat in place so it doesn't wiggle around while kids are buckling up....which can be a big problem as the kids are learning how to maneuver the seat belt. The latch system can easily detached to allow the booster seat to be moved to a different car. I have no complaints about this purchase.

This is our second Graco Affix booster, and we love them. The seatbelt positioner keeps the seatbelt in place perfectly, the seat is easy to convert from a high-back to a seat only booster, the latches are easy to secure (and you can use it without the latch too), and my kiddos say that it's very comfortable. We will definitely purchase another one of these when our last kiddo is old enough for a booster! Note: we have the tangerine, which is a pretty bright orange (but my daughter loves it), and the Pierce, which is a black and greige color (very classy looking, and would coordinate with most car interiors).

I have replaced my son’s car seat three times after I was involved in crashes (only the last one-pictured above-was he with me for). I buy this one every time. The car crash above, he was in the back passenger side and that severe impact (totaled my car, left me still battling a crush injury to my foot six weeks later) and that seat didn’t budge (make sure you latch it in) one bit. I couldn’t believe it. He was completely unharmed. (Obviously no seat can guarantee no injuries and if the impact had been on his side he might have been hurt, but the fact that he and the seat were in the same spot after impact says a lot). FYI, he’s 11 years old, about 52” tall and about 60 pounds.

Was time to move our daughter from a convertible to a booster and we looked at a bunch of different seats. This one fits our daughter very well. The arm rest is a little challenging for her doing her own seatbelt, but she is really comfortable in the seat. The only issue we have run into is that sometimes we pull the seatbelt so far that it locks on retraction, causing it to lock against the seat, which makes it complicated to get off the seat. We opted for the Latch version because when our daughter isn't in the seat it keeps it from going anywhere. We also like having that little extra big of security keeping the seat in place.
