Seriously, this spherical hot shoe should be included in the ring light suit! That should be a perfect shopping experience. Without this spherical hot shoe, everything doesn't work properly when you want to shoot something... I still love my O light, because at least I can spend a little money to find a perfect hot shoe that matches the light and the phone/camera. Comes with a lock, it's very stable, so you don't have to worry about the safety of your phone or camera. If you already have a Neewer ring light, this is a must buy!

I needed it for my neewer ring light ! It had come with a cell phone mount but I needed the camera one. The shipping was great and fast 💨. And the item was well packed. It does seem sturdy enough for my camera

This is a super practical little trick!

I used to worry about my phone clip, and it also came from Neewer's ring light standard. It only rotates the phone 360 degrees horizontally, but always stays in the same plane as the ring light. What you see on this page is now a super practical magic wand! It allows your phone or camera to adjust the angle freely, completely independent of the angle of the ring light! So I said that it is the most practical tool i have ever bought!

HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Just bought this along with the Neewer 75"/6 feet tripod and ring light - together they all really work so well. I find that it is super simple and easy to use / install. It is very secure and stays in place, but also is easy to screw / unscrew the various hinges. For such a small device, it really is very durable and keeps my heavy DSLR camera in place. The only con was that it took an extra week to arrive than the other Neewer products that I brought at the same time. Overall, super happy with this purchase! :)

Perfect for small/medium sized field monitors

I was hesitant to buy this at first but I must say I was surprised by the quality of this Ball Head. It is all metal except for the knob and seems to be very well made. It's definitely better than what originally came with my monitor. This probably won't hold a heavy load like a DSLR, so don't buy it for that purpose. Get the heavy-duty Manfrotto for that.

Great attachment for my ring light

I love this now I can film my videos for YouTube with my ring light so much better then having to use two different tripods in my tiny space so this is going to workout great for me I definitely recommend to anyone that films videos and or takes photos as well so happy with my purchase

As small as this is, I don't think it is designed to support a DSLR weighing multiple pounds. But... it holds my iPhone, Tripod adapter, and the Neewer 7 Inch Adjustable Friction Power Articulating Magic Arm for DSLR Camera Rig, just fine. It seems very well made. I could only wish for the tightening mechanism to have a larger grip for getting more torque. But that's hardly a criticism for something in this price range. I paid full price for this and would do it again.

Works well with holding a DSLR in place.

I use this with my Canon SL2 and Neewer Ring Light for my live streams. Haven't had any issues and works as intended. If you plan to buy the Neewer Ring Light, you will need to buy one of these since the ring light doesn't come with any way to mount your camera to the hot shoe mounting tab on the ring light.

Amazing accessories

This mini ball head hot shoe adapter is amazing. The screw thread on top works well for holding my camera or a flash or panel light and the shoe mount works on my camera as well as inside my ring light. The ball head is the perfect equation for all over rotation and 360 ability. I get flexible positioning that’s durably strong and holds my equipment in place. Easy to control and attach and detach. Must have photography/lighting accessory!
