Awesome product! We have looked into different fences to keep our little monster away from trouble and this hit the spot. We opt for the one with the door even though it's smaller but at least we're not ending with extra unused parts. Material is great and sturdy on carpet. The fense itself does not have sharp edges which is well planned. Bottom line, it's a great product and already planning on order the extra two sections. Here are some pics with details we found important for us. 🤓

So far it seems like a great product, came mostly put together. You just have to connect 2 pieces together which kind of hurt your hands because of the plastic, and to fold it back down to move it will require the same effort. Great product if you want to have flexibility to bring it with you somewhere or move it in your house. I have mine on a rug & it works great, it also comes with floor protectors in case of hard wood, etc. My son can only sit & crawl at the moment, not sure how it will hold up once he is bigger & can walk/stand/lean on it. But for the price it seems well made.

We brought this for our Shih Tzu puppy who we will bring home in three weeks. I wanted to get things all set up before we bring our new dog home. I decided on this North State after due research and watching videos. I decided that this product will provide better usability and service in the long run than other pet pens. This product is for children and has the front gate. It opens to a full hexagon but can be custom shaped slightly while opening. It is 26 inches tall, ridged plastic walls with rotating hinges. It accommodates his 22inch crate, a seat for me and plenty of room for romping around. It fits in our living room and will provide a puppy proof safe place for him for the first few months until house trained. We also got the playpen mat to protect the floor.

The perfect unit to contain a curious crawler! I especially enjoy the door feature, which most other products do not offer. It's sturdy, very simple setup, and spacious, for now. I will definitely be purchasing the additional 2 panels. Mom and Dad approved. Not so much baby approved, but how else am I supposed to get any work done with this curious guy who enjoys long crawls to the electrical outlets.

This Purchase makes this my third SuperYard. I think they’re great. I have dogs and use them to keep dogs separated while eating so they don’t eat each other’s meals, to keep sick or injured dogs’ movement restricted, to manage puppies, etc. My senior dog loves to hang out in one because it keeps the younger dogs from bugging her when she doesn’t want to be pestered. Therefore, I leave one up in the house full time. The off white blends in better than the brightly colored Yard. I also have nieces and nephews and these are good for keeping an eye on little people. Of course, they still have to be supervised, but this slows them down some. SuperYards are big enough for a full size adult to sit in and stretch out, even lie down. You can use heavy duty tent stakes to anchor it outdoors if you want extra security. The little door is difficult for little people to open once you lock it. To disassemble, grab any panel with the black knob; pull up on that and push down on the adjoining panel. Simple. Then accordion fold like a map. I save the box in my rafters so I can easily travel with a SuperYard. That’s why I have three, one for the house, one outside, one for emergency (sick/injured dogs) and travel. I’ve found these are more stable than a metal exercise pen and much kinder to floors; bigger than many children’s play areas. This has all but eliminated baby gates in my house. Highly recommended.

We originally bought the North States 8 panel playard for our 10 month old daughter, but quickly found that stepping over the panels to get in/out can be difficult and potentially dangerous if one were to catch one's foot while holding the toddler. We exchanged it for the Superyard Ultimate Playard - having the door/gate is immensely helpful! It's also nice to be able to keep the door/gate open so our daughter can crawl in and out at times, and hence not feel so trapped when she is put in the playard with the door closed at other times. And for when Mom needs to get work done, closing the gate buys some time until our daughter gets impatient. One note - we wanted a bigger playspace so our daughter could crawl around a bit more, so we bought two of the 2 panel extensions. The company recommends limiting a playard to only 8 panels for safety reasons (because the way the angles of the panels fit together is more sturdy in that configuration), but we have found the 10 panels works ok for us since 4-5 of the panels line up against our living room walls (but I can definitely see that 8 panels are more sturdy than 10). You may wish to see how 6 or 8 panels work for you and you can always add more later. But again, the company suggests staying at 8 max for safety. We never leave our daughter in the playard out of our sight, so we're comfortable exceeding the manufacturers' recommendation. But overall, I strongly recommend the ultimate playard with the door/gate as I fear babysitters or grandparents might have difficulty stepping over the panels without it. Definitely worth it. Btw, we also bought SoftTiles (not offered through this site unfortunately) for a soft flooring underneath because they appear to be the least toxic ones I could find (BPA, phtalate free, etc).

I have had the Superyard Ultimate Play Yard (Ivory) for just a little under a year. It was primarily being used to keep the baby away from the fireplace. I literally only set it up once and took it down once. The gate broke when I was taking it down- possibly because I was a little too firm with it or it was a manufacturers defect. In any event, I contacted Northstates directly by calling their consumer support number on their website. The lady I worked with was very friendly and helpful. The company shipped out a replacement gate for FREE, including the shipping for my troubles since the gate was less than a year old. You do not find warranties or customer support like this anymore, so just wanted to give a huge THANK YOU to Northstates for making this process easy and standing by your product! As far as the gate goes, it has served it's purpose and kept our baby now toddler out of the fireplace area in our house. I would purchase again if I needed another one.

I love this product. I purchased this, plus the two-piece extension. Fits nicely in my living room. The colors are vibrant. The quality is excellent. I was happy I just had to remove it from the box, unfold, and place where I wanted. It gave my one year old her own space to play in. Which was perfect for us since she puts everything in her mouth and we needed to separate her playing space from her older sister's. We love it so much that we bought a second one for our basement. The door is sturdy enough and my kids can't open it. Tall enough that our toddler can't climb over. I only intend to use this indoors, but, it definitely seems sturdy enough for outdoor yard use.

Love this play yard for the price. If you attach it as one piece then the play area is fairly small, maybe not a bad size for a really little one but if your baby can crawl already they're probably going to want more room. Which they do offer individual panels that you can buy to make the area bigger or a really nice feature is that you can expand it all in a straight line and we used it to block off a whole section of our living room from other rooms. Which worked for us until your little one was walking and figured out she could move it lol. Otherwise we loved it and used it alot, still do occasionally. We even take it camping since its a hard plastic that can be sprayed down.

I used this for my pug puppy [Maya] when we first got her. It was her time out space, and where she stayed when we were not home. By the time she was a year old, she could, and did, jump out of it, but absolutely worth it to have a safe space for her when she was a baby.
