Mmmmm, fries, cheese sticks, chicken strips
Takes a while to heat up, but the mozzarella cheese sticks, french fries, crispy chicken strips all taste great. A few of the larger french fries take longer to cook. You have to watch the mozzarella cheese sticks...if they stay in too long they will loose all their cheese, but cooked at the recommended time they turn out fine.....but if you see that first bubble of cheese....pull them out, they are done!

Super fryer for single or couple. Easy to use, easy to clean and delivers delicious, healthy tried foods! YUM!
Great little fryer! Almost impossible to get splashed oil. Heats fast and cooks great with crispy foods and very little oil soaking in. One key is the right oil. Frying needs to be done at 375°. So you need an oil that will not smoke and burn (and be harmful). I am using EXTRA LIGHT Olive Oil (NOT Extra Virgin). It's smoke temp is about 450°, so you can cook safely at 375° and oil will stay healthy and use many times. It is a perfect size cooked for 1-2 people, too small for families. If you are single or just a couple like we are, it's great. Happy Cooking (and eating)!!! Tim

Super Fryer. The cord is too short but would be good for child protection.
This fryer is great but the only thing I dislike is the short cord. The cord is so short that if you need to plug the fryer into an outlet that is lower than your cabinet/table, or do any stretching to plug it in, it will come unplugged FROM the DEEP FRYER, (not the wall outlet) while you are cooking. You really have to watch to make sure your red light stays on while cooking. The company's instructions also states for you not to use an extension cord. (I feel certain that there must have been so sort of lawsuit to make them have this short safety type plug, but other than this one feature....this is a super great fryer.) Its easy to use, clean up, and you will love the basket!!!

easiest unit for cleaning and frying
most little deep fryers, are a real pain to clean. this units tub , element, basket and cord, all disassemble for cleaning. Its so easy to use , as it has an indicator light when oil is at the setting you chose to cook. The tub , basket , ect. all go into the dishwasher for cleaning, and the cords safety feature is unique, as its magnetic. The size is perfect for cooking shrimp to French fries for the family. Best unit I have found, and believe me I shopped around.

Great for the inexperienced cook!
I've had this fryer for a few weeks now. I have never before deep fried anything because I've been scared to deal with hot oil, but as soon as I got this, I made fried chicken and fried corn on the cob to make Mexican street corn. They both came out wonderful. I put paper towels around it to catch any splatter or drips, but they were completely clean when I was finished because the lid contains all the splatter. I do recommend having an oven mitt or ove glove on when opening the lid because you need a hand on it to keep it from swinging up when you push the button. Since then, I've made lots of different foods with it. It heats up the oil quite quickly once you turn it on and it's super easy to clean. Everything comes apart so each piece can be washed or wiped down as needed. The only tricky part is making sure not to get water in the sockets. My one critique, I wish there were more numbers on the dial. 350F is a pretty standard cooking temp and you have to guestimate where the setting might be on the dial. But that's really minor. If you're thinking about getting this, I highly recommend it.

I am in love with my new fryer!
Works better than expected! super easy to set up & use... pretty simple clean-up & doesn't take up too much counter space like most fryers that are bulky and ridiculous...perfect little at-home fryer fort all our frying needs... I would definitely recommend this appliance to a friend/family member.

Like the other reviews said
Like the other reviews said, this appliance is really easy to setup, breakdown and clean. The other nice feature is that you can close the lid before dropping food into oil to prevent splattering. It makes great fried foods (when your diet allows). The packaged frozen foods do really well. Making fresh cut fries is a bit more complicated(see recipes) which is no fault of the fryer. I do wish it came with and extra basket. Also made fried twinkies and fried Oreos which were just decadently sweet.

This thing is addictive
I've never personally owned a fryer; I fry a lot of foods, just always in a skillet. I have a newborn which makes all of that popping grease just a little scary, so my boyfriend bought this for me (I really think that it was more for him so he could still have his fried chicken lol) Anyway, it's amazing! Nice even crisping all over and it cooks the entire thing at once so no flipping and getting little grease pops on your hands and arms. In fact, it was so easy that I was confident enough to experiment with pickles, cheese sticks, meatballs and the fabled Deep Fried Snickers (seriously, don't do this; once you know how easy they are to make, you'll not only make them ALL THE TIME, you'll try other candy bars as well. Milky Way and Reese's Cups. Trust me).

Amazing deep fryer for the money!
This deep fryer is amazing. I've used it one time just a few minutes ago, I couldn't wait to rip it out of the box and fill it up. I've never used a fryer at home, only at work in my previous job. Couldn't be simpler, fill it up to the line and then the knob to 375. There is a ready indication when it's time to fly, and the plug is magnetic so if it gets moved it will disconnect power. Very neat setup! The review don't lie. I deep fried loaded Doritos and pizza rolls and both turned out amazing just by waiting for darker colors. Going to try oreos next. Buy this! Update: steady use now, for over a month. Deep fryer still performs flawlessly, changed my oil out twice so far. Lots of tasty treats for friends, and don't forget the drunk food. This thing works every time and is fast, why are there so many bad reviews?

Absolutely excellent. I have no idea if I'll ever fry ...
Two words: onion rings. Yup. That's why this was purchased. Thin slice onions, soak in buttermilk for at least an hour. Dredge in flour and plop into the fryer, filled with canola oil. Absolutely excellent. I have no idea if I'll ever fry anything else since I don't eat a lot of fried food. But onion rings? Can you ever have too many super crispy onion rings? And it was on sale for 1/2 price? Yeah, baby.
