This little rocker is now being used by baby number two. It has helped with acid reflux baby, don't want to sleep baby, and let mommy vacuum baby. Although I have not removed the bouncer option frequently, it has been super handy as I can take baby onto the deck with me or set it in a small room while I shower or clean. After having a hand wind one for our first three, the plug in option was a must and has been wonderful. I love the adjustable back for little to older babies and the weight limit is crazy high. High enough that my two year technically can still sit in it. That helps as I freaked out when she climbed into it thinking it would break the motor or tear down the overall stability of it. It's quiet and does the trick, built well, easy to wash and take off and put back on the cover. My only dislike is the way the back is formatted. It feels like a lump or bump here the babies head would rest, but neither baby has had an issue.

I bought this swing and I love it. The main reason I decided on this one is because of the wall plug as well as able to use batteries. I did not want to be using tons of batteries or stuck where the wall outlet is. I also liked that the seat of the swing comes off and can be used like a bouncer. There are a few things that they could of made better. The bears on the swing are not motorized, and the vibration on the seat can be very loud. Although to fix the loud vibration I read a review where they put a rubberband around the battery and I did it with small hair ties and it made the vibration so quiet I forget it is running. I would buy this again if I needed to.

My 5-month-old LOVES this swing and has since we brought him home. Although the music it plays will eventually haunt your dreams after listening to it every day for months, it's really not bad for child toys music. And the swing itself looks very comfortable. The vibrating function calms my son when he's tired and fussy. My husband and I joke about wishing they'd make a large version of this for adults. This is a purchase that is definitely worth the price. If we hadn't had this the first few months it would have been difficult to ever prepare meals or go to the bathroom.

I spent a lot of time researching different swing options, and I went with this because it looked like a baby-containment multitasker, which is so necessary with the limited space we have in our apartment. I think I made the right choice: this swing/rocking seat combo is fantastic. My 3.5 month daughter is asleep in the swing this minute! The noise it makes to propel the swing back and forth has never bothered her (or me), and its music isn't annoying--sometimes I turn on the music even when we're playing on the floor. The seat is easy to detach and transport. I live in a 2-bedroom apartment and that thing goes back and forth from Baby's room on the swing, to my bathroom when I shower, to the kitchen when I need my hands free to make myself lunch, every day. On hardwood and tile floors, any movement the baby makes causes the seat to rock, which is kind of nice. On carpet I have to rock it for her. If I had it to do over, I would buy this swing again.

We received this last night and immediately set it up. Set up was pretty easy, took me about 15-20 mins alone. My son loves swaying back and forth. Love the many sound settings. The only negative is it takes up quite a bit of space but I'm not deducting a star for that bc that's to be expected of a swing like this. Also amazon has the best price for this item anywhere. And shipping was SO FAST! It arrived way before it was expected to.

I have three kids all of whom were swing babies. With each baby we had two swings - one for the bedside and one for the living room. Needless to say, we have way too much experience with infant swings. After dealing with the crappy engineering of various Fisher Price swings, specifically, Little Snugabunny, Starlight, and Zen Models, I was not going to make the same mistake with my third baby. All three had super loud motor clicking sounds, the metal frames all creaked and could never find a proper balance even on a hard flat surface, and the motors all pooped out after just a couple months. So, we have technology to build particle accelerators and stealth bombers but making an affordable plastic swing that has one main function is too much to ask. I read that the new models inexplicably have auto shut off features which, to me, is confirmation that the R & D folks are all either male and childless or just plain sadistic because what kind of monster creates a machine to sooth a cantankerous baby by is rhythmic motion and sound and then suddenly shuts off at 3am thereby waking the beast and causing mommy to inch one step closer to wrist restraints and confiscated shoelaces? I digress... This swing is far and away the best of the bunch and actually does what it advertises. This thing is a beast and has even survived my 3 year old trying to swing from it. It is quiet, never gets out of balance, and has good speed variability. The pad is easily removable for the many times that your baby will have a diaper blowout or puke or both. Worth. Every. Penny.

Works very well to keep my little one asleep or calm her down when her reflux is really acting up. I always keep it at the highest setting (6) otherwise it doesn't calm/keep my little one asleep. It vibrates and require a D battery; which lasts pretty long in my opinion. We've had it for 7 weeks and we use it everyday and almost every night due to reflux issues and have only changed the battery out once. We also keep the vibration on the highest setting. Sometimes the battery can get out of place due to the flimsy cover so I recommend some duct tape, we use the paper like packing tape so we can open it easily when we need to change the battery. I don't like that the cushion part move around so much, we constantly have to readjust (although we keep it covered with a blanket for easy wash) which makes it hard every time we put our little one in it. The bears don't spin on their own they have to be winded. It would've been nice if this was electrically powered. The cradle/seat that is removable, but pretty heavy so I typically keep it attached to the swing. It does make a creaking noise like other's have mentioned. My LO doesn't mind it because it creaks very rhythmically and she stay asleep just fine. If you don't like the creaking you could probably stick some phone in the attaching areas or some rubber like tape maybe. Also it only creaks when at setting 6. If you keep it at a 5 the creaking is much less or completely gone at setting 4. My little one is now 14.04 lbs, 9 weeks old and still loves it. I would recommend to anyone with a fussy babe, or baby that suffers from colic or reflux. It also helped my little one calm down when she had gas she couldn't get out or when she had a hard time pooping.

Love this swing. With my first son I had such trouble with finding a good swing. This one is super light yet durable. The swing speeds are awesome and the swing actually gets going pretty good which is nice since it's the only place my son will sleep. My son is now 7 months and a 20lb little chunk and the swing is holding up great still. I will say it is noisey though. It was nice and quiet for the first month and slowly got louder. It is slightly frustrating since we use it at night but I've gotten use to the sound. Other than that I would recommend this swing to anyone!

This swing is great for the price. We didn't have and saving grace need for it...We have a rock and play and we needed that in the bedroom so we got the swing for the livingroom so we can easily have a place for the baby to be put down. Love that you can rotate the seat for whichever swing direction or remove it to carry the baby to another room if needed. No issues putting it together (the electrical parts can be tricky though). We do tend to give the swing a gentle push to get it going from no movement after we turn it on...this is not because the swing has issues, but just do it to save the strain on the motor.

I am a new mom, however, first of my friends to start having children. My friends that are now pregnant have been asking me, "What were the top lifesaver items you bought to get you through the first year?". This my friends, is one of the TOP purchases. I love my "Graco DuetSoothe Swing + Rocker, Winslet". We have used this swing when baby was irritable and just wanted to be rocked to sleep, when baby had a cold, and just for a nap during the day so that my hands could be free to do some chores! The main reasons why I love this swing, and why I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it: 1) It plugs into the wall. Seriously, no more batteries to operate swings!! This has been so helpful during the nights when he needed CONSTANT movement to sleep. (Batteries still needed to power vibrating option on chair) 2) I love the swing seat. It has a nice, comfortable "bucket" style that cocoons the little one in safely. I have friends that bought the "Fisher-Price Snugabunny Cradle 'N Swing (With Smart Swing Technology)". Nice swing, but comparing the two seats... The seat is just not as nice, it's at a downward angle and the child doesn't look comfortable or as safe as in the Graco - even with the harness strapped on. 3) Easy to wash. We have had many, many "explosions" (need I say more?) in the swing. Little man was happy as a clam, meanwhile the seat looked pretty bad. We just took off the infant liner and threw it in the wash (added a little baking soda)- looks great. The main lining on the swing is a little more complicated to remove, especially when soiled, because you have to turn it upside-down. Suggestion- use a towel underneath! 4) Has easy turn axle to alternate swinging side-to-side and front and back. Our baby doesn't really have a preference, but I have heard stories from my patients in the hospital that they bought a nice swing and the baby didn't like the direction. They had to then go out and buy a whole new swing. That dilemma can be completely avoided with this swing! 5) The seat can detach and become a rocking vibrating chair. This was helpful when we had our little guy right out of the hospital, we were honestly in the middle of MOVING and only had a few baby items. This was great because it doubled as a bouncing chair and swing all in one. Less to move with and easy take on and off- you can do it with one hand. Things that don't really matter: 1) It can play music/soft noises (ocean, birds, etc.) 2. It has little bears for little man to look at. They don't move and when he was little, he didn't seem to care. I now tie little toys to them to extend the toys so he can play with them. In summary, I highly recommend this swing. It is incredibly soft, comfortable, safe and durable. He loves his swing for naps during the day or if I need a safe place to put him while I take a shower. If I were Oprah, I'd have a giveaway of my favorite things with this at the top of the list. I hope this review was helpful to you in your decision!
