Best Iron Ever

I love this iron. My old one of this version died and I thought I wanted something newer and fancier so I bought another brand. Boy what a mistake! I paid 2X the amount for it and it stopped steaming after about a month of use. So anyway, I should have just ordered the new version (this one here) of my old iron. My originial HB iron lasted for years. I am extremely pleased with everything on this iron. It steams like crazy, which means you do have to refill it frequently but boy does it do the job on my 100% cotton fabrics I use for crafting. It is not super light but not heavy either. The new retractable cord is a nice plus also. I highly recommend it!

Great Buy

Love this iron. It irons the wrinkles out fast. The steam feature is powerful you will love it if you are looking for a no nonsenses iron. The cord is amazing that it winds up inside of it. GREAT BUY!

Great iron with no melting or sticking!

This is the second one of these because the first one just died out of the blue but it was after a couple years and a lot of use from a family of 5. I bought another one at a store and HATED it with a passion. I didn't realize I could get this one on Amazon so I snapped it up when it came up in the search. The non-stick service is so great - nothing "melts" on to it causing burning and sticking on other clothes. Even if we kept the temp. low and didn't iron logos, the last iron would still get something melted on it from the fabric. Not at all with this iron! Easy to handle and I love the retractable cord. Highly recommend!

As good as the other brands at higher price points

Just what I was looking for. It makes ironing so much faster than the entry model that we had. Steam is very fast and wrinkles don’t stand a chance. The cord retracts well for easy storage. It has good weight to it but I think it helps with knocking out the wrinkles. Would buy again, but hopefully it last a very long time.

Why did I wait so long to get a new iron?

I'd been using an iron I've had for probably 15 years- never needed to do much ironing. However, I've started sewing again, and need to use an iron regularly. The old one had a scratched plate, something was scorched on it and was making marks on the material. This was the best new purchase for my renewed sewing hobby, makes life so much easier, an excellent product.

Great iron.

Not the lightest weight which is better for ironing heavy fabrics. Love the retractable cord and auto shutoff. Heats quickly, nice smooth plate.

is every bit as good as the Rodents

I've had two very expensive Rowena iron. Both were okay, but didn't last long, even tho I used the proper water, etc. This time I decided to try a less expensive version. This iron, for $25 and free shipping, is every bit as good as the Rodents, excellent steam output, and if it stops working, I''m only out $25 instead of close to $100. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Reliable iron.

This is my second HB iron. The other one lasted a long time but mysteriously stopped working with no warning. I suspect someone in the household dropped it on the floor but won't claim responsibility. I like this iron as much as a more expensive name brand iron that I used to own. It sprays, steams, the cord retracts and you don't have to use distilled water every fill up, only occasionally. I will stick with Hamilton Beach.

So far so good

So far so good. It heats up super quick! All the functions work perfectly and are easy to use. My favorite part is how the cable is retractable. It makes putting away very easy. It's bigger and heavier than your cheaper/smaller irons out there. But not too heavy that I can't manage. I hope it's as durable as they say.

Great durable iron for the price

I had an older model of this iron and it finally just had to be replaced! It had been knocked off the ironing board too many times! I really like this iron it is light and does a great job! My daughter wanted to take my older model when she moved out and I told her no but I found this one and sent it to her before I had to replace my old one.
