We were so pleased now that she's been wearing them for a while

My daughter is 8 and naturally will go through shoes quickly because of how active she is. With that said, these have been prefect for her. We were so pleased now that she's been wearing them for a while, that we are reordering a pair in a bigger size for when she grows into them. Great purchase all around. Oooh yeah, they feel practically indestructible.

Very comfortable shoes for a 2nd grader. No more complains for a an aching feet after wearing it in school all day. I have always been able to comfortable shoes from Stride Rite - very practical and comfortable and they do last the whole school year. Highly recommend it.

Sturdy and nice looking shoe

We are starting week three of kindergarten and these still look great! Most white sneaks are dirty looking after the first or second day! They are easily wiped down, fit great and my daughter thinks they are comfy! I ordered her normal size and they fit nicely. Great buy! **update** These are still in great shape- super easy to wipe down when needed and a comfy fit for my little one.

Buy them while you can

These are great. Great deal, fit, comfort... I just bought an expensive pair of school shoes for my son a month before and they fell apart at the soles in weeks. These were half the price and they are going to last. Really, really well made

Sturdy and a good fit!

After searching for shoes that meets our son's school uniform guidelines in stores without much luck, we turned to Amazon and found these shoes. They did not disappoint! Our son is rough with shoes but these have held up so far and I expect them to not get worn out as fast as other brands we have tried. They are sturdy and comfortable. Will definitely purchase again in the future especially with the affordable price!

Such a shame that instead of teaching children to tie shoes we're taking the easy way out with velcro. These are wonderful shoes - good support for little (or in this case XW) feet, and washable!

perfect for uniform code

These shoes are all black which is perfect for my son's uniform requirements for school. These are sturdy and have good cushion in the sole. I ordered his exact size and they fit perfect. They are not frayed. They do not have any factory problems. I would recommend these so far. When he starts wearing them to kindergarten I will see how well they hold up to the carpeting there and update.

Great, supportive (extra wide!) shoes for tennis lessons

We love these shoes and get them in different sizes for my son's tennis classes. They have good arch support, look nice and hold up relatively well (although he exclusively uses them for the court so not sure how they would be on a daily use basis). I would have preferred the velcro but this option was so much cheaper that it was hard to resist! Also, hard to find extra wide shoes for my son so Stride Rite is a favorite for our family.

Well-made shoes

My son's school used to limit our choices to New Balance and a few others. After too many complaints about how easily the New Balance would fall apart, our principal included this shoe as a choice. My son has only been wearing the shoes for about 8 weeks but I can tell just from the workmanship that these shoes are going to be able to take whatever punishment he can put them through! I DID have an issue with the shipping (wayyyyy past the 2 day delivery), but that's not a reflection of the shoe!
