Fun to Make

I am really enjoying this pattern. I seem to be always looking for a new wallet and I like bright colors which are hard to find in store brought wallets. But with this pattern I can make my own bright colored wallets. They also make great gifts.

I really like this pattern. I've been sewing for 50 years and this was a fairly easy pattern to follow. I made 3 of these wallets and was happy with them all. Once completed, it has a lot of compartments. I carry coupons, gift cards, credit cards, cash, change, and still have room for more. I think this wallet would make a nice gift. It's a good way to use leftover fabric you have from other projects.

Read through all instructions before starting

This is an adorable wallet. I thought I would crank it out in a few hours, but there is a learning curve with the instructions and I had to re-do a few things. I added an outside pocket for my cell phone and a wrist loop on one end.
