I didn't say light the Christmas tree on fire for a reason. Your whole mouth will twinkle like the lights on a Christmas tree and it keeps your attention but doesn't cancel out the other flavor of whatever you put it on. A+ on that flavor though! As a hot sauce lover, this is not at all painful. It's very warm and the warm lingers and kicks it with you but doesn't overstay its welcome. You don't need a lot but you can put enough on something to really taste that flavor. Had a small line of it on each of my 3 tacos and only need a few sips of that Dr. Pepper a couple times son. Super enjoyable. Haven't done a review in years. Had to make one I liked this sauce so much. 10 out of 10

I picked up this hot sauce because of Hot Ones. This is the first sauce that starts to hit people pretty hard on the show, but a lot of them also comment that while it is hot, it also tastes good. The sauces above this (with the exception of the Last Dab) are made with extracts and just taste terrible. I refer to those sauces as "Novelty hot," where they're made to be hot, and that's it. This sauce is pretty darn hot, but it still tastes great. Its base are the actual peppers (Ghost chili and habenero), as opposed to the capsaicin extracts that the hotter sauces use. I've used it so far on some pasta, and think it will go very well with chicken. If you're looking to get a very hot sauce that still tastes pretty darn good - give this one a try!

By far this is the best hot sauce I've tried. I was on a hot sauce hunt to find the best flavor sauce that goes with everything and I think I found it. I like my hot sauce on the savory sweet side. This one it's the perfect balance. You only need a few drops!

Zombie Apocalypse, the Number "8" slot on Hot Ones, this sauce packs a punch! Those with weak tolerances beware and those ready for the task hang on tight. This sauce is spicy!!! With ghost and habanero peppers in the mix, this sauce will raise the dead. Goes great on rice, and meats but recommend to only start with a single tab or two because the sauce can overwhelm newcomers. After getting halfway through the bottle I've become more accustomed to the spice but it still leaves your mouth on fire for quite a bit. It has a pretty good taste to go along with it if you can handle it. Good luck!

I stumbled across this while trying to find a new sauce which really challenges my heat tolerance, but doesn't quite go over the line into pointless pain. This was by far the best one I tried, in every category I was looking for: If it catches me off my guard it's hot enough to give me hiccups, but when I'm prepared it doesn't. It's delicious and the flavor by itself enhances everything I put it on, rather than simply tasting like vinegar. It doesn't really burn my lips or throat (or at the other end), just my mouth and tongue. And the initial sharp burn tapers off fairly quickly, leaving a lingering, low burn that lasts around 15 - 20 minutes. Some people may think that hot sauce is just hot sauce, and they all work pretty much the same... This sauce will show them the truth.

First time I tried this I farted and accidentally shat myself. Didn’t happen after that though. I guess it was a shock to my system or something lol

SOOOOO delicious! By far my favorite sause. First saw this sause on a YouTube show "hotones" ..there were a lot of compliments on it and it's probably the 1st one in the challenge with some real heat. I am So glad I decided to ordered it. It's hot, but not stupid hot!! I've reordered it 3 times... Soo good and worth the price a little goes a long way.

I am a chilli head, I like my food hot hot. This sauce packs a nice punch of heat that a true chilli head like myself will love. The flavor is delicious and goes good with just about everything. My warning though, if you aren't used to real heat, this is going to be a bit much. Just being honest. This is one of the hottest daily hot sauces I have eaten and I LOVE it. I personally wouldn't want any more heat than this, because up from here is extracts and gimmick sauces that aren't good tasting. This is the perfect heat (Super hot) and nice flavor. Quick summary: if you are a fan of super heat and want a daily driver, this is for you. If you think any hot sauce sold at your local supermarket is hot, this isn't for you.

My wife and I love spicy foods, and we've got quite a collection of hot sauces. This sauce is currently my favorite. It has the perfect balance of heat and flavor. Some sauces are really kind of novelty sauces - they're crazy-hot, but so much so that they're pretty much inedible, to my palate. I include in this category sauces like Da Bomb, Mad Dog 357, and Blair's Mega Death. These sauces are good for a single wing, when you're drinking beer with your friends and being silly. But you're not going to use them that often. Then there are sauces that are very hot, but not so hot that they're practically inedible. This category of sauces includes the functional, daily-use sauces for spice fanatics. In this category are sauces like Dave's Insanity Sauce, 100% Pain, and Zombie Apocalypse. Don't get me wrong - these sauces aren't for the faint at heart. This isn't Tabasco. But for those who like heat, these sauces won't last long in the refrigerator cabinet. This sauce has a fantastic flavor, and has surpassed 100% Pain as my absolute favorite.

So good. It has a really "big" flavor, it is definitely delicious. Then comes the heat... it is not sharp, it doesn't make your body think it has been poisoned, but it gets there and stays there. It lingers in the mouth and on the tongue, but doesn't assault your esophagus. It has garlic and oranges in it, which you can definitely taste. It has vinegar which is there in taste, but quite subtle in my opinion -- it is not a vinegary sauce. It is packed with flavor so even just a drop or two on whatever you are eating will introduce a whole new element to the food. Highly recommend... I'm a torchbearer fanboy from now on.
