Really easy to use and well made. The pasta came out so great! I rolled out the pasta sheets, cut them into squares, and was able to make them all fairly quickly using this board and included rolling pin. It was fun and the end product was awesome!

As soon as I got this I gave it a heavy coating of cutting board oil, let it soak in for 24 hours, wiped it down then waxed it with a food safe wood wax. I do this for every wooden kitchen item I get, and I feel it makes them easier to clean and less likely to suffer cracking, splitting, or discoloration. The board and dowel work a treat, and the hanging hole and simple stop on the dowel storage slot means I can just wipe it down with a damp rag then hang it on it's little wall hook where it is both neatly out of the way and decorative. There's no fuss or frills, just a simple tool with basic, common sense construction that does its job exactly as it should.

Love this little pasta tool! I've made the best garganelli pasta, cavatelli and gnocchi with it and use the wooden rid ti make wide fussili:)

Great value at $7.33 bought last December 2019. The board comes mounted on a hardwood base that allows me to hang it on the wall. The mounting base has a storage spot to keep the little rolling pin together with the main unit too. I like it mounted on the wall so it does not get damaged jumbled in a drawer with other kitchen gadgets. It's clearly made of naturally light colored hardwood (beechwood) with no varnish or shellac. Its finish is very fine and smooth. It came with with a small instruction card for use. I found it quite easy to gently draw the fresh gnocchi down the groves with my thumb to perfectly form the characteristic stripes. I have not yet used it for garganelli yet, but I'll try it soon. Clean-up was easy with a quick wipe with a damp dish cloth.

Very smooth wood..no sign of cracking. The first thing I did was wipe down with cutting board oil...it soaked it right up. I live in Denver, CO, and it’s very dry. This little device is easy to use and nothing sticks. I’m so glad I bought it.

So I decided to out this to use. I've gone all out with making fresh pasta/gnocchi with everything that's going on right now. It's the first time I ever made gnocchi at home. At first you might be a bit intimidated, but everything just starts to flow. Making the dough, rolling the strands, cutting and forming. You learn as you go to put the right amount of pressure to create the ridges and the back crevice. Down the line I'll have to attempt garganelli.

Bought this for my mom. We LOVE IT. If you want to make home made rigatoni without a kitchen aid this is the way to go!! Our noodles were perfect! We also used this for Gnocchi and it worked fine. I highly recommend this. It comes with a little wooden stick, but to speed up making the pasta we also used a wooden spoon.

I love making gnocchi with my family and these made it so easy! I have used the fork method for years before finding out that they make these boards. I bought them and used them in me home ec classes. It was so fun! My middle school and high school students all used it without a problem. I am looking forward to trying garganelli using this board!

Stocking stuffer for my son-in-law who’s Italian. His grandmother and Aunt made gnocchi for years and it took hours. This makes the job so much better. It’s nice quality that you can hang it in the kitchen.

Fast Delivery. Have used the pasta board several times; and am very pleased....Great product, It is worth mentioning that for best results, chill the pasta dough overnight before forming shapes with the board.
