I bought for wall mounting a Mac Mini. I had no problem with the lock included. My Mac Mini is locked and no plans to move the computer, so it stays locked. I like it.

This is a great simple and easy to use security mount for my Mac Mini. Using it with or without the lock provides a clean way to store and house this powerful little device. The added cable trap is a nice touch so all the parts are secured with the device.

It's a really great mounting solution

I have three of these--one mounted on my desk, one mounted to a wall in a wiring closet, and another in a traveling suitcase as a more stable mount for that Mac Mini. It's a really great mounting solution. Using a combination of the screw mounts and a cable lock this is a very secure mount.
