I swear I got this the next day! Very easy to install solo and only took a few hrs (and that’s for a girl!) was put on my 2006 f150. Wish I would have put 35’s even though it says it can fit I was skeptical and don’t want to cut my bumper just yet. I wish the level kit made it a bit larger like it did with my tundra but I’m pretty short (5”4) so it’s plenty Big for me. The truck looks sick and I love that’s it cAme with some stickers. Added it to my front windshield:)enjoy the pics guys.

Good product, did exactly as I had hoped. The Rough Country YouTube video is very helpful but don't expect everything to go as smoothly as portrayed, also don't believe everything the reviews tell you. Being and experienced car guy with air tools I finshies the job by myself in about 3 hours. It would've been about 2 and some change but the drivers side lower control are fought me while trying to reinstall the strut, luckily I have a 5ft pry bar to get the leverage I needed to get the lower strut mount in the hole. This is the only issue that I had and would've been easier with an extra set of hands. A couple of hints: First, I've seen several reviews stating you need to swap the left and right struts so the bolts line up, on my 2011 f150 I just turn the struts 180 degrees and they line right up. Second, use a ratcheting cargo strap to pull the upper and lower control arms together it truly is the easiest way to reassemble. I've include before and after photos. (And before anyone calls foul, I also installed the bigger tow mirrors)

Worked perfect, did exactly what it was supposed to do. While everything is apart change the upper control arm assembly if your upper ball joints are worn and the steering arm ends if worn as well. I changed the lower ball joints recently. Rotate the tires and have a proper alignment done so your tires will wear evenly. My truck drives smooth and feels great. Use proper torque on all nuts and bolts, you’ll need a large torque wrench for the lower control arm bolt.

Install went fairly well, added about 2 inches lift. Noticeable when looking at before and after pictures (included). Only problem I had was I tightened a nut too far and cracked the spacer, but that was more operator error than anything. Picture: Top-before; bottom-after

This product arrived quickly and works extremely well. I found that the ball joints on my upper control arms were bad so I swapped those out at the same time. Make sure you have all the required tools prior to doing the project. You will need some pretty large sockets and wrenches. Rough Country has excellent customer service and stands behind their products. There are also good videos online to show how to do the install. After adding the spacers, my truck lifted just over 1.25 inches in the front.

Easy to install, high quality part. Just installed mine 3 weeks ago, but I have no negatives comments so far. I'm running 33+ tires on my 2006 F150 FX4 and have not experienced any issues, on or off-road. They are quiet too. I had them at the deer lease on 10/05 and truck performed flawlessly. I got just under a 2.5 inch lift on my vehicle, but I'm very happy with the look. Also, I didn't change any other parts, just added the level kit. Absolutely the factory rake on my F150 is gone, without making the front look higher than the back. I'd purchase Rough Country part again. .

Took me about an hour to install. This leveling kit made my truck look so much better! All tools are pretty straight forward, need a 1 1/16 and a large crescent wrench to get the bottom strut bolt out. Make sure you have a good pry bar as well. If you need help turn to YouTube as it is much more useful than the instructions. Great product, very pleased. Must have an alignment after installing. It will drive fine but you will eat tires fast!

Awesome look after installing on my 2006 F-150 4X4. Leveled the truck like it says it will. Sometimes I wonder if it put the front end of the truck about a half inch higher than the rear. Either way, it allowed me to install 35 in. mud-terrain tires that look awesome and gave an additional 1 in lift to my truck. Installation can be a bear. I'd recommend 2 people and having a car lift.

Good product. I had never done any front suspension work personally before doing this. I considered bringing it to a mechanic and having them install it for me but decided I wanted to figure it out for myself. It was a bigger undertaking than I thought it would be but turned out fine. Started on a Saturday about 3 pm, worked until 10 or so and called it a day. Picked it up again the next day and finished early in the afternoon. Some things that will make your life easier: - Whoever said pry bars are helpful was right. Have a good one on hand for putting the struts back in after you put the spacer on top and then for getting the upper control arm to seat. - Unless you just happen to have huge sockets and wrenches for the lower strut bolts you will need to rent them from your local auto parts store. Wasn't a problem but I didn't expect to need any specialty tools. - Have a covered space where you can leave the truck on jack stands overnight if needed. It will take you longer than you think if you're doing it for the first time. - Recruit some help. Additional hands and another head helped a lot. - Take your time and don't feel like you're in over your head. Anyone who wants to learn how to do this definitely can. Overall the truck looks great, ride doesn't seem any stiffer at all. If your shocks are already in need of being replaced before you install this kit then it might just make that problem worse but my truck rides great. Still haven't gotten a front end alignment (doesn't pull to either side) and it's been off road several times since installing this kit. Don't waste $300+ on getting a shop to level your truck, do it yourself.

This product is absolutely the best option for My 2004 ford f150. The 2.5 inch levels the truck out nicely. Definitely is a head turner going from stock to the 2.5 inch change. The heavy duty plastic works great, easy to install. No you tube video needed. The instructions were spot on and very user friendly. This is a 2 man job. I had a buddy help me with mine, it took us about 3.5 hrs with regular tools. Love the overall look. And if your a decal guy or girl. It comes with both the large decal for across the window and a smaller one, all parts were in box. An alignment is highly recommend after installation. 5 starts hands down. Ready for new tires.
