Currently using three brands of Henley's: (this one) Dickies, Wrangler Riggs and Carhartt. Overall little difference in quality or fit. There are some differences. The RIGGS Wrangler brand is two button, and has a 1" square leather pocket logo. Off the three the fit is slightly tighter on the Riggs, slightly larger on the Carhartt. Of the fabric after some wash cycles, the Riggs is the smoothest, the Carhartt the roughest, it is a noticeable difference between the Riggs and the other two in smoothness. The other are comparable. Wife says the Carhartt looks good on me, and the Riggs looks the most "fitted". The Riggs does have the most "structure", looks classier. All are comparable in looks though. All appear to have similar build and stitch quality.

I have been on a quest to find good cheap work shirts for the Texas heat and this is the one. The fabric out of the package feels like a potato sack but softens up when you wash it. It is a medium to lightweight fabric that will become soft over time which is what I was looking for. It is not too hot and the sweat drys fast. The Carhartt equivalent to this shirt is $20, heavy cotton and soft out of the bag and it makes me sweat like a pig and stays wet all day.

This shirt fits very well. If you're a tall guy too, you know how hard it is to find casual shirts that will tuck inside and stay inside your jeans...you either show everyone your belly when you reach over your head or you show them something worse when you bend over to pick something up. This shirt is long enough to stay tucked in and avoid those problems (I'm 6'2"). I got the orange for the fall/Thanksgiving season, and it's a very nice color for the season. ## 17FEB14: I got two of the red shirts for Christmas presents. The Orange one I bought before Thanksgiving was not a fluke or an aberration. These shirts fit great and are very comfortable to wear. They look nice enough to wear on a night out but are tough and comfortable enough to wear in the shop. I just ordered three more in different colors.

I haven't bought these in a few years, new position at my job so I can wear them now. Excellent quality not as thick as they use to be but then again no clothing is. But heavy duty enough for me. Nice size front pocket. I can wear a large but I prefer to purchase a large tall because it always annoys me but my shirt pulls out of my pants and I'm not into untucking. Untucking it's just an excuse for manufacturers to save money by not making the shirt the proper size. They made it into a fad and an advertisement Ploy and people fell for it. Bottom Line buy these you won't regret it.

So I got three of these, different colors. When I first opened them I was a bit disappointed, the texture was a bit rough....BUT after one washing it was much better, and after a few washes it was really great. The fit is great. I love to have a shirt with a pocket for my cell phone. I think the fit and look are great.Well I think I need to buy more. I got the 2XLT

Love these shirts! Durable and comfortable. I am somewhere in between a large and an XL, but since they are 100% cotton, I just wash them in hot water, throw them in the dryer on high, and they emerge with a perfect fit. A little heavier than your regular henley, but I think they will last longer. I too think placement of the tag on the collar is poor planning, but it snips off easily if you're careful and I've had no problems.

A perfect shirt for what I was looking for. Something that you can wear if you're running errands, or it's perfect if you're meeting up with some friends or associates for a casual dinner. It's made of good quality materials, and can be worn with either long pants or shorts. The shirt can be worn for cooler weather with the three top functional buttons all buttoned up. On the other hand, if it should start to get a bit warmer, simply undo a button or two for cool purposes. I mention this only because I have purchased, or have received as a gift, similar type Henley shirts, only to realize the top buttons were for looks only and did not open. From an appearance standpoint, having the top buttons made up or opened can give the shirt an entirely different look. Casual to a bit more dressed up, and quite a lot in between. Needless to say, I do recommend this shirt for many occasions.

I have tried many brands and all higher end brands and none compare to Dickies. The fabric is thicker than all the others. It fits perfectly and are long enough in the back so no plumbers crack. They also do not shrink after being washed and retain their shape and color. They are sewn very well and expect them to last a long time. could not be happier with these.

I wear a size large, normally, and these fit well - slightly larger than most shirts of this type that I've gotten. I think these are a better value for the price than most out there. They are a thicker, heavier material than average, which makes them very good for absorbing sweat (They are work shirts for me). They wash up nice and are solidly made.

The fabric of this shirt is a very nice quality, though not a very smooth, soft cotton knit, still very comfortable. There was little to no shrinkage or color loss with cool wash (color black) and dry on knit setting. This is a very nice looking shirt at a great value!
