This is my 4th can of the Apple Brand rain and stain repellant and it won’t be my last. I’m a huge fan of leather bags (particularly Dooney and Bourke) and I’ve used this on every single one of them and it’s worked great. I’ve used this repellent on pebbled and Florentine leather and have had no issues. Does a great job at repelling rain spots, dirt and stains. All of my future leather products will be treated with this before being worn!

I used this on my designer handbags. This product did protect my Louis Vuitton bags very well when I was caught in the snow the water had dried and didn't leave any marks on the vachetta leather. I do not like when my expensive bags have water marks it drives me crazy. When I read the reviews I wanted to try this product and it worked very well. I would recommend this product and I am very happy with this purchase.

Like another reviewer, I learned about this product by watching a video of Shea Whitney spraying her LV bag so I ordered some to protect the vachetta leather of my new LV Odeon PM and I'm very pleased to report that it worked beautifully. Dried quickly and left no stains or discolorations on the vachetta. Haven't gotten the bag wet yet to test it out, but I live in Florida so I'm sure I won't have to wait long to test its effectiveness in preventing water stains. I was a little nervous after reading a couple of the reviews that stated it ruined their LV bags, but I don't know if it was user error or what their issue was because this worked like a charm on my vachetta and you can't even tell its been sprayed.

I purchased this to treat my brand new Louis Vuitton Neverfull. I haven't had the opportunity to test its water repellance yet (and I hope I don't have to) but what I can say is this. This product does NOT discolor the beautiful vachetta leather. It does not darken it whatsoever. It dries back to its previous color almost immediately. It does have a strong smell when you first spray it, that does tend to linger in the air if you don't spray in a well ventilated area, BUT it does NOT leave that smell on your bag. I was slightly concerned my bag would smell like spray paint afterward, but it absolutely has no trace of the smell at all. Immediately upon drying the smell goes away and all you can smell is the wonderful aroma of vachetta leather. I HIGHLY recommend this product to protect your high end bags (or any bags for that matter). Works well on Uggs also!

Just purchased my first LV monogram bag and it has vachetta leather trim all over the place. I knew that the leather was very delicate but after hearing horror stories about how easily you can stain the leather I was afraid to use it without protecting it first. I tried this because it was so highly rated and trusted by many. Just to show how delicate the leather is, just before treating the bag I washed my hands to make sure they were free of oils and lotions. I had forgotten that I had a wet band-aid on my finger and picked up the handles of my LV. Almost immediately there was a huge dark water stain on my handles. I couldn't believe it! So I prayed that it wouldn't leave a permanent stain and thankfully it dried up and disappeared, but it just proved how necessary it was to treat it first before using. I sprayed the Apple Care on all of the vachetta areas lightly at first. Make sure to protect your work surface for all of the overspray. When sprayed lightly I can see the coverage was even but not really complete ...so I literally sprayed until each area was completely covered. I'd say it was pretty liberally covered. I know the instructions were to do light even strokes..well I just went nuts on it and sprayed until I was sure I didn't miss anything. The leather was soaked, but returned to normal color within 10 minutes. It dried before my eyes really. I wiped up with paper towels any overspray and dripping. So it wasn't surprising when I found that some of the overspray caused a couple of small areas towards the bottom of the bag to get stained by the Apple Care from using too much and it pooling around corners. I was heartbroken and ready to accept that I goofed by using too much. But low and behold 2 days later those dark areas "evaporated" and returned to normal. So no treatment stains after all. Whew! So does it work? Yes!! I can touch the bag with completely wet hands now and the water just beads up on the vachetta leather. No more absorbing, no water stains. It just rolls right off. My suggestion for applying this spray? Rather than chancing it like I did, either use an applicator or swab to apply evenly or do light coats..only applying another after each coat dries. This is probably even more important if you're treating a used bag. Mine is new with no dirt or oils so the liberal treating had less of a chance of pooling into dirty spots. I also tested the spray on the shoulder strap and bottom of my bag first.

I bought this after researching care for a brand new Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 Damier Azur. I can report back after just having sprayed 3 coats on the entire bag, vachetta and canvas, that the bag looks just as it did before. The canvas is not shiny from the garde spray and the vachetta is not at all darkened and looks exactly as it did before applying the spray. I have not tested it out yet to see if it waterproofed as the bag is still sitting outside drying. But I'm confident it will deliver. Apple Brand gets an A++++ from me. Thank you for allowing me to protect my brand new first ever Louis Vuitton. I will attempt to attach a phot when I can.

This is my second time purchasing, I have to say I love Apple Brand Garde. It has saved my purses and myself from many unfortunate stains. I use this to treat the vachetta on all my Louis Vuittons. I recently sprayed my bandouliere, I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I definitely recommend this, please don't be afraid to spray new leather. It dries up and you can apply it every 3 months.

I got my wife and daughter some expensive Ugg boots for christmas and wanted something to protect them in the winter months so I decided to give this Apple Rain and Stain protector a try. Item arrived as described and I did 2 coats on each pair of boots. It drys nice, and you cant even notice you sprayed anything on the boots which I was a touch worried about using in the first place. Have to say it works great.......easily wipes off any dirt , snow, salt and water and both sets of Ugg boots in good shape. Definatley recommend.

This is a relatively famous water repellent spray amongst leather bag owners. I've been using this spray on my leather and suede products for some months and have been having great results. 1 can will usually lasts me enough for 2 applications(2 coats each) on bags and 1.5 application for Over The Knee boots. It has helped avoid staining on my light colored leather bags, although I should mention that I also take extra care to avoid stains. If they happen, and they do (including light denim dye transfer), I find that I can easily wipe them off with the conditioner or a baby wipe. This spray has a pretty strong scent, so make sure to use it in a well ventilated area. Since it is an aerosol can and it does take a bit of extra time to sort at USPS, I like to buy 2 every time I get it so I can always have a backup in hands. I live in Washington State and rain here is a weekly thing, and so far everything I have sprayed this on has stayed in really good shape, no watermarks or anything. I should mention, though, that this was the first and only water repellent spray I have used, so I wouldn't be able to compare it with other products in the market. With that being said, this does everything I want it to do, so I haven't felt the need to try a different product.

I LOVE this stuff! I have several high end purses and was struggling with dye transfer from my jeans. Now, each time I buy a purse I treat it with this first, and I have no more troubles with my purses turning blue!
