I absolutely love these jiggers. I work at a restaurant that specializes in craft cocktails; some of our drinks have several liquid components that need to be measured out precisely. Having two or three of these shortens down our pour times immensely. Other old-fashioned jiggers need to be poured exactly to the rim, and then carefully transferred into the mixing container.. leaving so much room for error and waste. With these I can pour quickly and move quickly without worrying about spillage.

I gave one as part of a gift and kept one for myself. They are a bit easier to use than a standard jigger, but the steel looks nicer with my bar tools than a plastic one. The measurements are easy to read, and I don't have to worry about making a mess like I do flipping a regular jigger over. It's the first jigger I reach for now. My buddy loves the one I gave him too.

I had been thinking about buying one of these for a while and I'm glad I did. I was tired of spilling alcohol when using traditional, cone-shaped jiggers -- whether they were made out of stainless steel or plastic. I bought the OXO Steel Angled jigger because I liked the idea that it could sit flat on any surface while I poured. That meant that I didn't have to hold the jigger while measuring (as compared to traditional jiggers), I could just focus on the pour. I also liked the possibility of being able to see the measurement while looking straight down into the jigger as I poured (thanks to the angled measurement surface/markings). With other jiggers, I would worry about spilling alcohol all over my counter when trying to measure up to rim. Luckily, the pour spout at the top eliminates that problem by "focusing" the final pour thanks to its slightly curved edges. There's also ample headspace between the 2-ounce/4-tablespoon measurement marking and the rim of the jigger itself, further ensuring that spills don't happen. With all that said, measuring with the OXO Steel Angled jigger takes a little practice. I've noticed that I tend to have better pours using bottles that have longer, skinnier necks versus larger, heavier bottles with shorter necks (1.75L bottles of New Amsterdam Gin come to mind). To avoid spills with this jigger, just make sure that the mouth of the bottle is aimed near the center of the jigger and not so much near the edge of it. Until you get the hang of it, you can expect some spills. As far as accuracy is concerned, you're going to under-pour or over-pour no matter which jigger you use, even if it's the OXO Steel Angled jigger. The good thing about this jigger compared to traditional ones is that even if you over-pour, the excess is going to end up in your cocktail and not all over your counter. The only thing that could make this jigger better is if it measured a full 3 ounces (two standard U.S. shots) instead of two! (for those of us that like to have two shots in our cocktails)

I don't write many reviews, but this is really nice. In fact, I'm back to order a 2nd one now that I'm retired! One shot glass allows me to get the proportions for fancy drinks (Singapore Sling) or make sure I know how much I'm drinking for a simple Vodka Soda. The way that the 1, 1.5, and 2.0 oz markers are all below the top of the "shot glass" are really great--- no spillage. Now, to order 1 for the ski cabin, one for the RV, and a backup for the house!

It seems like Oxo stopped making these in favor of the same design in plastic. We have both and they (obviously) work the same. This stainless version just looks nicer in a finished home bar. Very easy to clean. Rather than having to look from the side at the meniscus, you can just look straight down while you're pouring - it's a great design.

I used these as a bartender and LOVED them, I bought this for myself at home because it's so great. A simple but genius improvement to the standard jigger. I will say I avoid putting it in the dishwasher though. I noticed when working at the bar that the labels inside wore out after a few weeks of constant use/washing. I just rinse mine off at home with soapy water and no issues, but I also don't use it nearly as much as I would at work obviously, so the labels may yet still fade with use over time. Still totally worth it when there's no better version of this and it's so much nicer than a traditional jigger.

My old jigger just wasn't cutting it with it's double-sidedness and it's ability to only hold an ounce at a time so, much like the PiƱa Colada Song (ESCAPE!) by Rupert Holmes, I went looking for a side piece...or a new lady...except it's a jigger. Whatever, shut up, THE POINT IS that this is a great jigger. For starters, it's got a 2 ounce capacity and it's clearly marked on the inside in varying measurement increments. It's also metal and THAT IS SO METAL! It's also angled with a poury spouty thing which makes it easy to use without spilling stuff. If this jigger were applying for a job, I would totally write it a letter of recommendation WHICH I GUESS IS WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW.

I received one of these as a wedding gift, and I recently bought a second one because of how often I was using the first one. This isn't a typical jigger that you'd see at a bar, but I immensely prefer this one. You don't have to flip it over to get to different measurements. My favorite thing about it is the combination of the pour spout and not having to fill it up to the top. I frequently would accidentally spill a little from regular jiggers when pouring them into the shaker when it was filled to the top, and I never spill with this one.

Are you sick of jiggers that drip that expensive booze all over your counter? Are you tired of jiggers that only have two labeled measurements? Are you tired of jiggers that have a measurer on the top and bottom, so that if you need to use both for one drink, it drips all over the place? I know I was, that's why I bought this jigger. Actually I loved it so much I bought four of them. If you want precise control of measurements and far less mess, this is the jigger for you.

I love this measuring jigger because it's antiseptic looking and I can pass it off as laboratory equipment, especially with clear spirits. I find it to be reasonably accurate and easy to use, even when the eyes are blurry from multiple prior uses. Plus it doesn't break when you drop it. All it really needs is a chain so you can wear it around your neck to all the Mardi Gras parties.
