The product is better quality than my brain

The product is great, however, I am not smart enough to figure out how to wrap a taper, so I just sent it to be ceramic coated instead. It feels like a quality product, and looks awesome. I’ll likely use it on a motorcycle instead of my catted downpipe, and fully with expect it to work perfectly.

Used two rolls of DEI black pipe wrap on my stock honda shadow exhaust. I wanted a stock but not look and it turned out pretty good. I did not have the proper tool to get the included locking ties tight, so I just used some hose clamps. The first pipe I had to wrap twice, but once you get the hand of manipulating this stuff it goes on pretty quick. I would definitely use this stuff again.

This is good header wrap

This is good header wrap. I also got a can of their black hi temp paint to make the headers look dark black. I think the headers would look grey without the paint over some time...

Would buy again

About the best you can get. Applied without soaking, kept a tight fit, wears well, definitely reduces radiated heat, and has endured 2k miles of off-road abuse. Would buy again.

Good Stuff.

It's wrapped on my racing kart header. Keeps my race suit from burning and doesn't disintegrate in the intense heat like the fiberglass stuff I had did. Looks good and suggest it to all my buddies with fraying header wrap on their race karts. Will be wrapping my rat rod motorcycle with it as well soon.

Minibike Wrap

Used on a custom made header on my 212cc Predator to keep from burning into my thigh. Works really well and looks great. Wetting the wrap definitely helps application. Ties are about useless though and I ended up just using hose clamps.

Fairly easy to install

Used the wrap on a Zero turn mower that had overheat issues. Wrapping reduced engine compartment temp significantly.

DEI header wrap

Works as it is supposed to. I soaked it in water prior to application. I bought two roles that were shorter, maybe should have bought one longer role as the header pipes on the chopper and really long.
