Love for my leather

Very nice products. I've used each for a different item- Lems boots and shoes, wallet, and a belt. Great scent and texture to salve and oils. Also applies very evenly and spreads evenly as well. I used the saddle soap (never used saddle soap before) to clean up some marks on a pair of boots. It worked very well. Also, I'm very pleased the products are USA-made (and in the Northwest).

Completely reconditioned my leather boots

This product is amazing. I had used just the boot wax before, but my leather boots have gone through a couple of rough winters without really being treated beyond a bit off a wipe off once a month or so, so they really needed a lift. I was considering taking them to the cobbler to get them fixed up, but I knew it would be pretty expensive for something I should be able to do myself if I could get the right products. This Otterwax kit was the right product. I should have taken a before and after pic but I was too excited to use it to think about that and set to work as soon as it arrived. It completely revitalized the leather, brought a luster back to it, left it soft and supple, but protected from the winter moisture thanks to the wax. It also smells nice and is easy to use with the instructions. I do recommend getting a horsehair soft bristle brush rather than just using the cloth provided, but overall this kit is excellent quality and value.

Worth every penny

This kit is full of awesome stuff. The Saddle soap cleans anything, smells awesome and washes away with ease. The leather salve worked into a more of a creamy texture and blended into the boots beautifully. The Leather oil added in some extra moisture and seems like it will be great way to add some quick moisture. The boot wax cured awesome overnight and really provided a good layer of protection on my new red wings. I would definitely recommend this kit.

Solid product with minor improvements to be made

Great product, used only once but appears very solid. My only three requests would be to add the brushes in the kit, you can't buy them in Amazon otherwise, add a manual in the box for first timers with the whole process from cleaning to the wax step; and make the oil more "shiny" right after application it looks fantastic but as it dries up it gets matter that what I expected.

Very happy with my selection

The contents within were as explained from the product description and presented very well from a customer perspective. The packaging is attractive and functional and I will use it to store the oils,, salves, and soaps to keep them organized. The package comes with one high quality cloth to get started right away. I have oiled and waxed my brief case and there was no change in the color and now simply has a new shine and soft pliable feel again. Very happy with my selection. One recommendation would be to include a brush with the kit as well so would truly be an "all in one" leather kit.

Extremely good product. It brought my leather shoes back to life, making them very soft and supple. Use this once, leave them for a day, and you'll love your leather! The kit is more than just a cosmetic treatment. It's expensive. But it will last, and it's worth it. I recommend buying it.

Will use on all my leather stuff now!

1st time user. Great results on 5 yr old worn boots. Best was the saddle soap. It took work buffing after the ‘salve’, but it was really worth it. Oil went on well, and ending with the wax was a plus. Only negative is the cheap cloth that came with it, it's breaking apart from the beginning.

Excellent All-natural All-American Leather Care

I have used an endless variety of leather care products over the years to care for my motorcycle jackets and riding boots. I wanted to try Otter Wax as it was recommended by the folks at Schott so I ordered the kit containing a sampler of leather salve, boot was, saddle soap and leather oil. Have tried the salve and oil so far and love them both. I got the best results by letting the salve warm in the sun (using a hair dryer works too) before applying and then allowing to dry. I then used a horse hair brush to buff to luster. There will be a milky haze left after drying but this disappears completely with buffing. Using the brush also allows you to treat the leather well down into the seams. There is a boot was included that offers some waterproofing protection without the harmful silicone and petroleum products found in other leather care items I've used. Looking forward to trying it. I also reached out to the Company to inquire about specific concerns regarding past products used and received a prompt, thoughtful response. Rare in today's commercial environment!

Otter Wax is the best and easiest leather care product line you'll ever find!!!

This collection of boot care products fixed my favorite leather boots right up for the Montana winter conditions! I was amazed at how easy it was to use this kit, and yes, it comes with instructions! I've tried other products that are much more difficult to apply and maintain on my boots, but Otter Wax leather care products are the slickest thing you'll ever use on your boots, and the best! I've been wearing leather boots for many years, and wish I could've found Otter Wax products sooner!!! Get some!!! You'll love it!!!

The products smell great and work well

I recently used this kit to clean and condition several pairs of shoes. The products smell great and work well. One pair of boots that I cleaned are probably ten years old and used hard and they look rejuvenated after using the Otter Wax products. After three pairs of shoes/boots, there is still a lot of product left in these smaller size tins, so there is plenty to care for shoes for quite awhile yet. I was very pleased to find a USA-made product with no petroleum in it.
