Save your arms and shoulders , buy this. You will appreciate it the first trip.
This is the first upgrade to my 2016 pop-up. I did not have any of the wiring issues that others experienced. So hopefully they resolved that. The product came well packaged and it probably took 30 minutes to install, including wiring. it did make it impossible to open the rear hatch on my 2014 Chrysler Town and Country without hitting the door on the jack. The Factory installed crank jack did clear as long as the handle was in the downward position. One day i will try rotating it and seeing if it clears then. That is a bit longer than a 30 minute project though. As far as complaints about it being slow, I have no issues with how fast it moves the camper up or down. I am just extremely glad i do not have to crank it up or down manually anymore. For the price and convenience , i think this cant be beat. I have left the included jack cover on it at all times , including when towing and it sitting in the snow, still looks new. I don't even remove cover to operate, its easy to manipulate switch with it on.

Speed and noise review. Both were fine to me.

Jack Quick is an appropriate name
We have a Forest River R-Pod 179. After our last trip, I decided that the manual jack had really gotten old. I looked at a lot of different models, and chose this one. Installation was relatively easy. I was pleased to see a circuit breaker was included. The only thing lacking for the installation was some wire connectors and a circular terminal for connecting to the battery. Once installed and connected, I tested it, and it worked perfectly. In contrast to the reviews for some other brands, Jack Quick is accurate. It is both powerful enough and fast. I had a flip foot, and had it installed briefly, but went back to the adjustable foot that came with the Jack Quick. It was just as easy to use and does allow for adjusting for sloping ground. The single light does not provide much illumination, but that is not a big deal as I have another light on the front of our R-Pod. I purchased it for the jack, not the light. One other thing is that the switch to operate the jack is set up so that pressing it up raises the front of the trailer and pressing it down lowers the front of the trailer. Initially, I was looking at the leg and it looked like it was backward. Just don't think the switch is leg extension/retraction, and it will be intuitive.

Arrived early, easy install
Arrived early, first thing I did was take the cover off & check that all the wires were connected, they were. It came with the manual handle, circuit breaker, 3 star washers, adjustable foot, weather cover, & instructions. The instructions are very straight forward. For the install, I lifted up the stabilizer jacks, then used the current manual jack to raise the front of my Coleman 27' trailer. I put a jack stand under the tongue then lowered the jack to put all the weight on the jack stand. Unbolted the 3 bolts, removed the foot plate & lifted the old jack out. Take the foot plate off the new jack & slide it into the mount holes. The star washers go UNDER the flat washers & bolted it into place. You will need an electrical splice and ring to complete the electrical connections to the circuit breaker and Positive terminal of your battery. The jack moves faster than my stabilizer jacks & the light seems kind of dim, will have to see how bright it is at night and maybe swap the bulb out for a brighter one. I'm going to keep my old manual jack for a while just in case this one craps out. We're going on a 3 week vacation this summer & will update of there are any problems

Jack Quick 3500- I like it!!!
I purchased this jack for my 34ft car hauler and it works great. I had read the reviews, and with mixed thoughts of maybe an inferior product or installer error, I thought I would take a chance on the jack. In my opinion it moves fast enough, if you have a lot of tongue weight you don't need a speedy jack. And it does make some more noise when operating with a load on it. But it does not sound like it's chewing itself up or about to come apart. I also have a group 31, 12 volt battery mounted on the trailer for my electrical needs so there is plenty of battery to make it operate flawlessly. Overall the quality appears to be good and my unit came with the protective cover which also has soft inner lining and a draw string with a lock. I have other trailers that I will be putting these jack's on in the near future. Best of all is that I don't have to crank on the jack!!!

Decent for the money
Installation took about 1 hour from start to finish, i include time to get tools etc as that is part of the process. If i had all the tools, the tongue jacked up and ready to go and crimping tools, this would have taken 10 minutes. Many people write how slow this unit is. It is comparable to the speed you get when hand cranking the hitch, so i find it adequate. Would i like it to be faster? Yes, but I wouldnt want to pay more for speed. It runs very quiet until it has to lift the camper then the motor gets loud under the load. Well it is not actually very loud, it would not wake the campers next to you if they were in a tent, but it is louder, but nothing that would make me buy a different one. It has a built in level on the top which is useless as all it tells you is if the top of the jack is level, but is the plastic housing level? Is the tongue welded on perfectly level in relation to the floor inside the camper? It is actually a pretty stupid thing to put on the jack. I would rather had a bracket that holds my trailer connector cord. It does include an automatic resetting circuit breaker which I like. the instructions tell you to connect it directly to your battery. What I dont like: It did not include the ring lug terminal for the battery nor did it include the but splice connector. That would have added maybe a dollar to the price?

Works great. Poor ground made me pull white ground wire ...
Works great. Poor ground made me pull white ground wire back through protective cover and attach directly to one of the mounting bolts. Attached breaker switch as instructed and hooked to pos. pole and everything operated as it should. I also found that the jack travels much faster than hand cranking. All said, I am very pleased with purchase and do not expect any problems. ( my hitch wgt is 750pds ).

Good jack...Great value
I installed this about a month ago before we took a long trip. We moved several times during the trip and the jack worked great. Had no problem picking up that back end of my F250 in order to hookup the WDH. Install was easy. As others noted, it didn't come with any electrical connectors but I had some around the house so it wasn't a big deal. My jack came with two wires instead of one. I connected the black wire to the positive side of the battery and the white one to ground. I'm not an electrician, but it is working as expected. The speed and noise don't seem to be any worse than jacks I have used that cost twice as much as this one.

Great jack replacement
I had bought a used travel trailer at the beginning of the summer with an electric jack installed. Towards the middle of the summer, I started having issues with this jack (water was infiltrating it and shorting it out). I started my search for a new jack, but most of them here on Amazon were the exact same one I was replacing. I found this jack which is very similar but has a couple key features. The first thing I like is the molded plastic on the top. Other models have metal and screw holes in it (which water goes through). This jack is sealed on the top. Further, the plate on the bottom is larger than my previous jack which fits much better on my blocks that I put it on. This jack works well with my trailer and was rather easy to install. The kit includes a circuit breaker rather than a fuse to prevents short circuits and a cover to further insure weather proofing.

For the price this electric jack is wonderful. I replaced my old manual hand crank jack with this item. It was easy to install even though the instructions were vague. Ther are plenty of You Tube videos out there to make it easy. I just had to stabilize the trailer on jack stands and after removing the 3 bolts on the old jack it took 15 minutes. Lifts my trailer with ease with no effort. I have seen many complain that this jack is slow to lower or raise when in use. But for me, it is just fast enough and I or my wife don't have to struggle to jack up or down the trailer in the heat, cold or rain. I am very happy for the price. I thing I would suggest when you install it. If you have propane tanks right behind the jack and use the hard shell covers. Before you button it all up and call it done I had to move my tanks back about a half to inch back to allow for clearance.
