As a physician, my first instinct is to look for quality. These tweezers are absolutely "surgical grade." The main question regarding tweezers is whether the tips match/line up exactly. No space is visible, even with a bright light behind it, when the tweezers are gently closed. This is what I noted with these tweezers and I have been extremely happy with them when I use them for my patients. Keep up the great work!!!

I use a magnified loupe with a light when digging out splinters. Every set of tweezers I've used in the past or even needles for that matter appeared as a blunt tip spear under the intense magnification, these are by far the best tweezers I've ever laid my hands on, with perfect alignment and so sharp my wife's first comment was wow you can definitely poke your eye out with that! I highly recommend if you want a Precision set of tweezers. Digging a splinter out with just a needle merely moves it around but having something to actually grab makes a big difference as to how big of a cut you have to do to extract the foreign object as you can usually grab one end of it if your instrument is precision enough. I may not even have to use lidocaine now!

I’ve not had good luck with buying tweezers on Amazon until now. These pointy tweezers do an excellent job of pulling out ingrown hairs and it seems like they would also do real well with removing splinters. The tips match up perfectly so that the tweezers grab the hair but not cut it, which is the problems I’ve had with 4 other tweezers I’ve bought on Amazon. The pointed ends on these tweezers allow you to push the surface of the skin away from the hair or even to gently get under the skin, if necessary. There may be some better tweezers out there, but I don’t think you’ll find them at anywhere near the price of these.

I like these tweezers better than any other tweezers I have ever used. I tend to have skin that grows faster than my hairs. Any place where I pluck hairs, I eventually end up with ingrown hair issues. I tend to have a combination of fine hairs and course hairs that have an issue. These tweezers let me handle all thicknesses of hair with minimal damage to the skin covering the ingrown hairs. (It requires gently teasing the hair out from under the skin.) No other tweezers do as good a job. Update: The most recent pair I ordered had blunt tips and did NOT work well enough to be worth using. They were not like the previous ones I had received. I am assuming the blunt-tipped version is just a fluke and plan to order more in the future. (Eventually, the blades become pitted and don't grab my fine hairs like they used to, so I order more. The tweezers are so good that I don't mind ordering more once they start to wear out. To me, they are definitely worth the cost. The blunt-tipped ones have been the only exception over many years of using these.)

I was kinda skeptical about the pointy tips. I though they might come missaligned, or maybe the could pinch and hurt my skin, or... how the hell could I be able to grab a hair with those? Well, I was wrong all the way! They came perfectly aligned and double-protected: a plastic cap over the point and a hard case as shown on the pictures. If you are patient (and I mean to take about 4 minutes to the task, not half an hour!) you won't hurt your skin, and your undesired hairs will be part of the past: you can totally grab any hair if you take it from the side of the tweezer. So now you know, don't hesitate and buy this!

I have probably purchased over 20 pair (at least) of tweezers over the years via Amazon. I have usually been disappointed with the ones I've gotten either because they don't work that well from the get-go or they lose their grasping ability after a short period of time. In general, I have found that the more expensive tweezers have been the best and I usually end up with Rubis ones, as expensive as they can be. However even those have gone down in quality over the years. So It thought I'd give these a try after reading some reviews and so far am giving them a big thumbs-up. They easily grasp even the tiniest eyebrow hair with no problem. The big test will be if these will last over time but I have used them quite a bit and so far so good. Another thing I like is that they come in their own little plastic container in addition with a cap for the business end so that you can protect them and keep them sharp and aligned. I have found that with my other tweezers I soon lose the protective plastic end-protectors. These feel sturdy and I like the color; you an easily spot them! I am such a fanatic about tweezers so I have done several reviews over the years about several brands. I am only too happy to give these a big thumb's up. Recommended.

Loved the 1st one I bought, so I was super disappointed when I thought I lost them. I didn't hesitate to order them again. MY MISTAKE. I knew something was off about them when I opened the package. They were smaller than I remembered. Then I hit a stroke of luck and found my original ones. I have attached pictures of the old one and the new one I ordered. The new ones were shorter and the gap (between each point) was significantly smaller (thus giving you less control). What a waste of $10. I'm so glad I found my original ones, the new ones completely suck. UPDATE (12/30/15): After reaching out and contacting the seller about the quality and dissatisfaction, he quickly responded to rectify the situation. He was very professional and courteous, and offered to send me a replacement at no charge. UPDATE (1/7/16): Replacements were received in the mail. The seller sent TWO replacements and followed up with an email asking about the quality of the replacements. One was fantastic (comparable to my favorite one), the second was only slightly better than the one I complained about. It could be different manufacturers developing these products, so I'd say quality is hit or miss. I was so grateful that he sent me 2 replacements that I didn't bother to return the poor quality one. How could I be so petty to return a $10 tweezer after the owner reached out and sent me TWO free ones as replacements? If anything I will keep it as an extra backup or pass it along to a family member. Thank you Mike(seller) for going out of your way to satisfy one unhappy customer. It really shows a lot of character! 5 stars for customer service!

These tweezers work very well and come at a reasonable price. After shopping around for brands I was familiar with, decided to try these. I could not find anything in stores that came with the same needle point end. I actually bought three pairs of this, at two different times. One for the bathroom and one for the purse. I like the really my ability to use these with either my left or right hand. The end of these tweezers meet very well and make them easy to use for pulling small hairs, to getting splinters out. I have some trouble with eye sight, but am still able to work with these. It is easy to aim at what your are trying to remove. Also small, ingrown hairs can often be removed without harming skin or leaving an abrasion. These are very well balanced in their structure. When one pair seemed to stop working, I realized that in cleaning them I had bent the arms. But, realizing the error was mine, I bought the third pair.

I have hard 3 deep ingrown hairs down there for months and they were like cysts. One was very deep and blister like. I tried regular tweezerman tweezers and needles and nothing could get the hair. The only thing I was left with was bleeding and scars. I received the surgical tweezers in the mail today and went at it and it got 2 of the 3 ingrowns out in a matter of minutes! These tweezers are a lifesaver and I am so thankful to finally get those deep hairs removed. The end of the tweezers are so sharp they can puncture the skin, allowing you to go under the skin with the end point. This allows the trapped hair to makes it's way out. I am so thankful I found these!

These are the only tweezers I've ever had that have actually worked! I had a an ingrown hair(or something) issue on my chin, caught I a wrinkle! Lol For years, I tried everything I didn't know what it was, but it was constantly irritated. I ordered these tweezers & in seconds, it was remedied! & remains so I love them!!! And the customer service is awasome! My 1st pair didn't align properly So I wrote an email letting them know, Mike promised to send a perfect pair that he would personally inspect. He did just that! No returning, just sent them, yay! Love the company, love the tweezers!
