Regardless of the ingredient list, my 9 year old mini schnauzer is in excellent health & full of playful energy. I've used IAMS products since she was 6 mo.old. I was using an expensive food sold by her vet. She had terrible allergies & was treated twice for bronchitis when someone recommended I change her food. She's been in perfect health ever since & she loves this brand. I'm flag I found this in Amazon so I don't have to lug it home from the store. They shipped it in a box, which surprised me & it's a better price than the store so w/ the free shipping w/ Amazon Prime, it's a great deal.

No More Dog Farts!!

Our dog is 8 and SHE’S GASSY!! Like, clear the room gassy! The problem seems to be getting worse with age, so we needed to find a food that kept the demons at bay. This stuff does the trick!! No more embarrassment when we have company. No more kicking her out of the room for fear of asphyxiation! It’s great! Plus, she loves it!

Great product

I started getting another brand but came back to Iams!!! My furbaby is almost 14 & was raised on Iams!!! Decided to give her variety & try a different brand! Although it was healthy food, she started with dry skin so back to Iams for ever & always!!

My Yorkie just loves it

This product was selected for a variety of reasons, not the least being the price. It needed to be in a small form for my aged small dog (a Yorkie who has only four teeth.) She shows that she likes it by thoroughly cleaning out her bowl every time. I haven't tried tasting it but I'll take it on her advice that it is good. He lack of teeth didn't slow her down at all with this product.

Love the convience

I am lazy and love that dog food is delivered to the door. I like having it on subscription, but I am trying to figure out a better delivery time frame so I don't run out. Last time, I didn't make it and need to order more to supplement. Iams is great food that seems to always stay out of the recalls. There are plenty of choices for age and size of dog. We have used their puppy, small dog, and now senior formula food.

Love the product-hate the method of shipping

I love this food and I have many animals and wish to order every month. The draw back here is that shipping is thru the USPS and the local ladies that work there hate dealing with the large packages and instead of allowing me to pull around back and get the items from the loading dock, which is closer to the area where the packages were insisted that I take the boxes from the window inside and then carry each 30+pound box across the street to my car, 4 trips and the ladies were laughing about my being out of breath

Picky Elderly Chihuahuas Like It!

Switched from Iams Adult Mini Chunks to this with a newly adopted 9-year-old chihuahua. Previous owner didn't give me enough food to blend with the new kind -- in fact, we were fresh out when this new kind arrived. Fortunately, she only hesitated a moment before gobbling up everything in her dish. (She gets 1/4 cup 2x daily.) And, this is a very picky eater. If she ate it in a cold trial, your dog probably will, too!

Great Dog At A Reasonable Price

One of the things that I like most about Iams Proactive Senior Dog Food is the price. I wanted something healthy for my sons dog and this dog food is perfect both on the price and the nutrition it gives to him. Iams is definitely a quality product at a much lower price than many other expensive brands.

GREAT FOOD

Moved from Iams Lamb and Rice (red bag) to this when the dogs got older. Dogs love it, and the vet thinks it's good food for them. I tried premium "Blue" food and it made one of my dogs terribly sick. This food is perfect for both of them. Buying the giant bag from Amazon Prime is super convenient, and it's always in stock (unlike the big box pet store I hate)

Dog loves it, vet recommends it. His poops are about half the size compared to when he ate cheap brands, if that says anything about the quality.
