The slide easily into the slot on the awning. They feel solid as well. The clip works nicely as well. Once open you'll need a bag to keep them together; zip lock bag should be fine.

i have used these clips for years on camper awning. work great. the clips gently bend a little when i put up panels on the clips on awning. none have ever broke. they are meant to have some flexibility. i hang the side panels for EZ-up canopies on my awning sides and front. I bought 8 white panel sides from amazon.the clips hold only the panels on the front of canopy. side panels are tie wrapped to side arms of awning. panels have velcro loops that fit on awning clips easily and securely. would recommend these clips for awnings.

Perfect solution for lights on my Sunsetter

A perfect affordable solution. I had a Sunsetter retractable awning on my house. I got these to hang some led lights from the outer edge and they worked perfectly.
