I have been searching for a cookie jar and the 1.5 Gallon Montana Jar was a great choice! The picture included in my review shows the jar with almost 9 dozen cookies in it (cookies made with a standard sized cookie scoop) The jar seals nicely so my cookies stay fresher longer! Also looks great on my counter top! Plan to purchase more! If this review was helpful please click "Yes" ~thanks!!

This was a Christmas gift for my niece so when it arrived I opened it to make sure all was intact, it was. With it I opened I put a 5lbs bag of Haribo Original Gold-Bears Gummi Candy Haribo Original Gold-Bears Gummi Candy, 5-Pound Bag of Delicious Bears! Ships to You in Either Clear Packaging or the New Gold Updated Packaging. The Same Delicious Gummi Bears in Either Packaging! inside, as you can see it fits with much room left. The lid fit snuggly and secure even when placed on it's side empty. Also, picture shows packaging was sturdy for it's delivery.

I purchased the 24 oz handles for the Yeti 30 oz and the 16 oz handles for the Yeti 20 oz. boiled the handles for about 5 minutes, heated up the mugs and slid them on. It took a few tries, but I found using a wooden spoon to gradually push the handles into place and rolling the cup and handle in boiling water to "reheat" briefly, to be the key.

Awesome product! I searched everywhere for nice canisters that had a seal and in which I could put my flour and sugar. LOVE the Montana jars. I've included a picture of the 96 oz jar which holds a bag of sugar and the 1.5 gallon jar which holds a 5lb bag of flour with plenty of room to measure a cup. I tried to put a 5 lb bag in a 96 oz jar, but it wouldn't all fit.

We were looking for a canister that seals for our non-standard size k-cup coffee. This Montana Jar works perfectly. It's big, it's beefy and it hold a huge amount of k-cups and keep the fresh. It arrived in perfect condition with no imperfections. I told the wife I want another so I could fill it with peanut M&Ms....nummers!

I purchased these jars for my laundry room makeover. Because it is located directly off the kitchen and we leave the door open so that the dogs can get to their food, it is important to me to have all of my products neatly displayed. The 96oz jars are the perfect size to store dryer sheets and scent crystals. The glass on the jars is fairly substantial, meaning they don't seem fragile if they get knocked or banged. The lids have a plastic gasket underneath that make them appear somewhat airtight. When I lift the lid there is definitely a suction sound. I would definitely buy these jars again!

The original technology was developed by two engineers -- Frank Cotter and G. Howlett Davis -- in Detroit, Michigan in 1946. Cotter and Davis combined the last three letters of their surnames to come up with the name Tervis. John C. Winslow purchased the Tervis product rights in the 1940s. The Tervis Tumbler Company was then incorporated in 1967. All Tervis drinkware is still made in the USA at the Venice, Florida manufacturing plant. It seems that EVERYBODY has at least one Tervis item in use on a daily basis...their products have become ubiquitous. I use their 24 oz cup (I have now accumulated two) for my morning smoothie. This handle converts a big, ungainly affair into a civilized drinking vessel that's a sheer pleasure to use. I wish I'd discovered this simple, inexpensive handle years ago, because it's great! If you don't have one of these big, honkin' cups, then I'd bet dollars to donuts you have a friend that does. Makes a terrific gift...and it sure as hell won't break the bank.

These Montana jars are esthetically pleasing, and extremely practical. I have a large walk in pantry with shelves of every size of these Montana jars. I keep all of my dry goods in them. These larger containers (2 gallon) holds 4 to 5 pounds of whole been coffees easily. They are very easy to clean by simply removing one screw from the knob on the lid, which gives you the ability to thoroughly clean the freshness seal. These are very effective in keeping my dry food fresh. When I first started collecting these, I was not totally convinced the seal was tight enough to keep my snacks, cereals and cookies fresh for longer periods of time. That however, has changed as I continually have been impressed at the freshness of my stored items. We keep potato and tortilla chips, crackers, cookies and cereals in these jars, some for weeks (even months), and they stay fresh longer than keeping them in the original packaging.

These are incredible, air tight, large opening. It's perfect to store my puppies treats and dog food.

I lost the lid to my 16 oz tumbler and this fits it as a perfect replacement. *Note that this lid is only for 16oz Tervis TUMBLERS (tall, no handle), if you're looking for a lid for your 16oz MUG (stout, with handle) you'll need the 24oz travel lid.
