I have used this microwave daily for over 3 years. I heat water and cook microwave meals and popcorn. It does the job but ordinarily takes 30 to 60 seconds longer than most directions. I only use the high setting. It also happens to be smaller than most microwaves.

Purchased for use with my 1200W (concurrent) inverter and so long as I keep it on medium or below, works great for reheating coffee and leftovers. Trips the inverter on high, I'll probably end up getting a larger inverter as I increase my solar and battery capacity but this adds a valuable creature comfort for now.

This 600 watt micro wave works real good and is very simple to use. Now, for those of you operating off solar power or an inverter ( semi-truck sleeper), mine uses 1070 watts of power no matter if it is set to low, or high power. My solar generator will handle it as long as I just heat stuff up and do not try cooking. Watt usage is always good to know 600 watts = 1070 watts. Good micro wave.

I run this on a GoalZero Lithium 1400 solar battery. It consumes about 900 watts when running (not the advertised 600). It consumes the same amount of power despite the mode (hi, med, low). I used this in a solar-powered van conversion and it really helps with my traveling. From the ability to heat up leftovers to quickly making frozen burritos to softening potatoes, I use this thing more than my propane stove. What I like about it is that I don't have to fill up my propane when using it. I just use it for a couple minutes a day, and my solar panels restore the battery for tomorrow. Even if it runs for 10-15 minutes in a day it barely puts a dent in my solar capacity.

Perfect size for my office and works well. I like that the knobs are manual as opposed to keypad. Just be sure to remove all the tape before use. I found packing tape in the most bizarre of places. Will this last until retirement? I doubt it. However, for the price, it's worth the investment.

I just love this microwave oven. Exactly what I wanted. Exactly as described. Small. Simple. No vampire lights. No vampire trickle drain. No blinkies. Just two twist dials. I am a real cook, and prefer heat and flame for most jobs, but often a small microwave is handy for quick tasks, such as heating water or milk, warming a serving plate, reheating risotto. It is a small MW oven, so some items won't fit. If it were a bigger oven, then it would not be a small oven. Don't buy this oven expecting a massive microwave with a dozen presets.

I reached critical mass with regards to the communal work microwave. Having to spend 20 minutes cleaning the inside of the work microwave every time I needed to use it was killing me. The price I paid for this gorgeous piece of machinery was well worth it!!! The performance: I am heating up foods like soup, beans and rice, homemade mac & cheese. It does an excellent job. My container of choice is either an ovenproof glass bowl or a chinet plate. I love the dials and that it is simple to use. Size: Perfect. It fits on top of my Haier two door dorm refrigerator. I am back to bringing my lunch to work. No need to run out and find fast food. I may even lose some weight.

Received 10 days ago. So far excellent. Plenty of power for our needs, relatively quiet, heats well, and does not move (on open wood shelf over counter) when opening the door. Good purchase for someone who wants a small, easy-to-use microwave. As for longevity, who knows? I replaced a 20 yr old Samsung only because the door was rusting. Hard to find these dial controlled units now - we prefer to avoid electronic touch panels because they often fail, take more time to use, and the light stays on when door open. We like to clear residual odors without having light on.

Bought this for my 93 year old mother. She was having a hard time reaching the microwave above the stove. Wanted something easy to operate because she has trouble with short term memory and also has macular degeneration. We've only had it a few days but she's using it and it works well. The numbers are small on the dial so I used a hole punch to make small dots from an adhesive label and attached them to the microwave at the 1,2,3 min marks (she generally uses 2 min for reheating things or boiling water for tea). The dots make it easier to see where to turn the dial.

This is a great microwave for those camping as the power demand is the lowest of any microwave ovens on the market. It is easy to just turn the dial. If you are off-grid using solar this is a microwave that has the lowest power demand. I bought this as a backup for the one in my camping trailer because the market is changing to higher power microwave ovens. I need the lowest power unit available and don't care if it takes a few seconds longer to cook a meal while camping. Unfortunately the manufacturers are now catering to the consumers who complain about low-power microwave ovens taking but seconds longer to cook a meal.
