It has been very painful few years for him

My husband struggled with eczema on his hands, that left his fingertips cracked and bleeding. It has been very painful few years for him. He went to top dermatologists and was prescribed hundreds of dollars worth of prescription, that really didn’t help him at all. I bought this salve off Amazon after reading the reviews and looking at the pictures. I really didn’t have much hopes for it especially after failed prescriptions, but decided to give it a try. My husband loved the consistency right away. He immediatelly said, that he loves this stuff because it’s not greasy and gets absorbed very quickly into the skin. He would bring it everywhere with him for a couple of weeks and his cracked bleeding hands started to heal! I couldn’t believe it! Then the last few weeks, he has only been applying it at night right before bed and you guys, he hasn’t had a split bleeding finger in weeks!!!! I wish I took before and after photos to show what a miracle this stuff has been for him! It’s important I add that, the company didn’t ask me to review this product and obviously didn’t pay me (wish they did lol). Whoever is struggling with cracked bleeding hands, give this a try, it might make your life better :)

Works great for my needs. Sad it can't be used as nipple butter

I bought this for post partum care and... ahem, it worked amazing at reducing swelling and speeding up the healing process. I wanted something that could be used as a gentle all purpose healing ointment for me and my baby after my lady area no longer needed it and it is very soothing stuff. All herbs added to it are actually what my midwife recommended as the best for perineal care. I have to warn any other fans of all natural healing though that this CANNOT be used as a nipple cream, used on open wounds, or placed somewhere on a child's body where they can lick it. That bummed me out since pot marigold is suppose to make a great nipple butter. Unfortunately the added St. Johns wort causes infants to be overly drowsy. Comfrey in it will destroy an adults liver if eaten or placed on a open wound for more than two months straight at a time. Infants have underdeveloped livers and one tragedy has already resulted in the past after a mother drank comfrey tea while pregnant. She took it without knowing the full effects of such a powerful herb and her newborn died from liver failure a month after their birth. Please, please, remember people, herbs are like taking medication. They need to be used the proper way with caution, at the proper times, with proper education.

I have battled eczema on my fingers for years. I have not found any products that work for me in prescription or otc. I just ordered this bc the ingredients sounded soothing. I put it on my fingers in the a.m. and wrapped them in bandaids and could not believe how much better they looked that night when I took the bandaids off. I am so glad I tried it. I just couldn't stand the itch, burn and pain anymore!

Beautiful medicine!

I tore a ligament in my shoulder last Thanksgiving. I went to the orthopedist and he gave me anti-inflamatories -for four months- until my ears rang... Finally in April, he decided that I wasn’t getting better and needed surgery. Nope. I changed direction from western to natural medicine. Arnica and dandelion tea for inflammation; comfrey to heal. I bought this salve In mid May. I rub it into my shoulder and bicep every day. In just a month and a half, I have better range of motion and less pain daily. The shoulder is healing naturally without surgery. For six months the doctor tried all he knew and it got worse. Salves like this were the medicine of choice for centuries. Comfrey is commonly called ‘bone knit’. This salve is working. It is a good recipe. I absolutely recommend it.

My NB got really bad eczema and I didn't want to use anything that wasn't natural for her. Her skin was so scaly, cracky, broken, inflammed, dry, red and puffy to the point that I knew her pediatrician would want to recommend a steriod. No way I was going to start my baby off on the wrong foot with all these nasty, unsafe meds. I read ingredients and reviews on this and purchased right away. Got it next day delivery with Prime and started using it immediately. After ONE day- eczema almost completely controlled and my daughters face was back to normal again! I couldn't believe it. Do be aware that if you use this for eczema, you must constantly apply it to keep skin moisturized. I applied this the whole day on my daughters face to keep it moisturized at all times and I still do. I don't let her face get dry one bit. This product not only controlled the eczema and redness, but has also almost rid of her cradle cap! I applied it all over her scalp and let it set, then bathed her in all organic/natural baby shampoo and it lifted all that dryness on her scalp away! I took this product to her pediatrician in amazement and he approved of ingredients and even asked me to continue using it on her at all times as needed!

Game changing for my 4 year olds eczema patches

This stuff is like magic! My 4 year old has several really painful patches of eczema - itchy, broken, scaly skin - and this product is working better than several prescriptions we have tried. We are disciplined in applying it at night after bath and in the morning before getting dressed. There's no stinging or burning when it's applied and it melts into the skin quickly. Really impressive product and so happy that its helping my little guy be much more comfortable.

I had eczema around my lips and eyes and was about to go to a dermatologist after trying a few other options, but really wanted to try something natural first. I had been trying different toothpastes and lotions and nothing was changing. This product not only cleared up my flakey irritated skin, but also worked as an every day balm. The dry, itchy skin around my eyes healed itself after a few weeks of use and I have not had to apply it consistently since. I use it on/around my lips like a typical lip balm because I live in a very cold dry climate and I could not be happier. I shared it with my friend after she had complained about her new tattoo being super uncomfortable and she ended up sharing it with her friend who also had a new tattoo because of how quickly it soothes and heals the skin. It works on eczema, it works on new tattoos, and it works on skin that has to deal with the elements. This is really an amazing product and I have already ordered more. It cleared up my ezcema, which is why I originally purchased it, but I just love it as a moisturizer now because it truly works wonders even if you aren't having issues with your skin.

IT WORKS!!

This is the 3rd container I have ordered. I bought a small one as an experiment to try and heal a fissure. Anyone who has one of those knows they can be difficult to heal. Well, I only searched for alternative ways because two physicians couldn't seem to find the right course of treatment. After I told them what I did, they both wanted the name of it so they could tell other patients. I have used this on sun burns that have blistered and has dramatically decreased the healing time. I know this, cause I too have had blistered sunburns. The most recent experiement was with a diabetic ulcer my husband had on his foot. It wasn't until weeks after he got the ulcer did I only by chance discover he had one because he was walking funny. I tell him to wash it in the shower daily (cause he wont do anything else) and put on this ointment. Well, after only putting it on twice in 12 hours, it look remarkably better. I am a wound care nurse and have never seen any diabetic ulcer respond to any product the way this one did. I now keep a small tin of it in my purse and has several times come in handy. I now plan to introduce this product to physicians when recommending a wound product. Keep in mind not everyone responds to things the same way, so if you buy, please keep that in mind before leaving a review that is negative. Also, if something causes a rash or reaction, it just means you are reacting to something in this product. It doesn't mean this product deserves a poor rating. Great for Dry Skin!

I usually get very dry, cracking, bleeding skin in the winter, especially when the dry winds come. No lotion - or coconut or pure vitamin E oil - has helped before. Right now, it's cold and dry as a bone, and my skin would usually be painful, red, and splitting - not now! My hands are still a little dry, but just "normal" dry, and the top layer of my skin isn't trying to say "see you next year!" and tear itself free to migrate south for the winter. My cuticles are also much better. Though it says "unscented," that means it has no added fragrances. On its own, it does have an herbaceous scent that's strong out of the jar, and mostly dissipates after you apply. I actually kind of like it. Will buy again once I run out.
