Beautifully Made

This toy is beautifully made. She's sturdy, and the magnetic pieces stick wonderfully. The outfits are adorable and she was a huge hit on Christmas day. My daughter doesn't play with her as much as I had hoped, but that's not the fault of the product or Melissa and Doug. It's merely my LO's own interests. I love the stand, and while the tray's handy, it's not the best for storing everything without a cover. Easy enough fixed though; I just threw the pieces in a ziplock bag and kept Merry herself in the tray. Not even worth losing a star over. This toy is wonderful, and if a child isn't into it, it isn't going to be because of the quality or cuteness factor in my opinion.

My cousin loved this gift! She's almost four, and this was different than most of the other gifts she's gotten. It also was a quieter activity than several of her favorite toys, so it was nice for the adults, too.

Quality toy

The face and features of this doll are more delicate and pretty than most of the other wooden "paper" dolls by Melissa & Doug. The undressed doll is a human girl wearing undergarments and shoes. One outfit is a party dress; each additional ensemble is a mermaid tail and matching top. Lots of cute accessories including a mirror, gloves, hair ornaments, and purse. Quality similar to other Melissa & Doug products.

Great Gift

Great for our 2 year old granddaughter. Anything Melissa and Doug makes is well worth the price. We have many of their toys.

What a hit! I got this for my 5 year old after she showed interest in her little sister's Peppa Pig one. It really is a beautiful toy, classic and well made. Some pieces are a bit small but it prompts my girls to slow down. They love taking turns selecting outfit combinations. The only shortcoming is the packaging- something with an attached and latching lid would make it absolutely perfect.

Love these!

I love mermaids and give them often to my niece. She loved these! She loved how colorful they are and she will sit there playing with them, changing them up. I’m super happy I got them for her!

Melissa and Doug toys generally are of very good quality. This is no exception. It is very cute and has bright colors. The sizes and shapes of the pieces are easy for the little ones to grasp and play with. The little box the pieces come in is suitable for toy storage when it is not being played with.

Durable toys, always recommended.

Melissa and Doug toys have always been my favorite toys to purchase for gifts as they are extremely durable and adorable. I purchased this toy for a 2 year old mermaid fanatic (!!) and she could not put it down. My only complaint is I wish it had a hard plastic cover like some of the other sets do, this one does not. Other than that the pieces are beautiful and there are so many choices to dress up the mermaid.
