Great Summer Project Kids LOVED it!

Tulip took out one step, salt ash, makes it easier to use with kids (5-10yr-olds). Just washed our shirts, brought them out still wet, tied them, & dyed them. 24hrs later rinse them, wash them and wear them.

Good for maybe 4 adult shirts. I saturated three shirts and had some liquid leftover.

Wonderful tie kit

Lots of fun with the grandkids these kits are easy to use. You do have to remember to get the dye way down into the knots if you want a lot of color. I also let the shirts sit in the plastic bags about 18 hours or about double the time recommended. The colors stayed true to the pictures and did not fade out. Highly recommend!

messy but fun

Got these for my sister who lives to tie dye. We made shirts. The box says you can make 9 different projects but we had barely enough dye to make 5 shirts. Not sure if we screwed up somehow or what. Anyway. I left the dye on for almost 2 days instead of the 8 hours recommended because I didn't want the colors to fade too badly. But they did fade a lot after 1 wash. It kinda makes the shirt look like vintage tie dye I guess but if that's not the look you want, I would not suggest this kit. The 1 step dye is kinda like RIT in squeeze bottles. For a quick and fun project to do with kids it's much better than regular tie dye with all the steps. Much easier clean up. Will definitely order again in spite of the fading. It was so easy and fun to see the designs.

Easy to use and colors are bright. I’d say the 3 pack would do 3 adult shirts. Buy more if you plan on dying more than 3.

Great dye!!

I love this dye because it does what it's supposed to and the longer you let it sit, the more intense the colors are (works best on damp fabric). I do wish it lasted a little longer... I tye dyed a 6ft by 2 ft piece of fabric and BARELY had enough. That's pretty good though!!
