I just started using art markers and I wanted to get some general marker paper that is on the cheaper side for practice. I was worried with the thinness of this paper when I got the pad. However the paper is completely bleed proof and super smooth. The photo is one of the first pictures I did using Arteza Everblends. I have also been able to do calligraphy and inking with my dip pens on this paper too without any issues and any nib catching/tearing.

At first glance, I thought it was too thin. Once I got around to using a sheet of two...it's a must!!! Love it for my prisma markers!!!

Doesn't bleed (I used off-brand copics), doesn't gather, and just see-through enough if I needed to trace. My only warning is to be careful when erasing a large portion of the paper, it might fold or crinkle if your corners aren't taped down.

First marker paper, so I cannot compare, but for the price in compared to even a good sketchpad, this works really well. Even when using liquid pens, I scribbled for 30seconds in a quarter inch circle and it only bled through by a dot. That is amazing considering the paper is thin enough to line copy even if the picture being copied has faint lines. My only complaint is that the paper was not bound to the cover.

I use mostly prismacolor markers and some copics. I've tried many different papers and this is what works best for me. For artists who use markers and who are picky about their supplies, try this.

I'd say this is great value. 100 sheets per pad. I usually work on a smaller scale so I'll cut the paper down, which gives me even more use out of this pad. This is thin paper, but that's what I prefer in marker paper. Because it is thin paper, you have to be careful not to wrinkle the paper while erasing. It is semi-translucent so you can easily trace your drawing if you prefer to draw in your sketchbook or other paper. It takes several layers of alcohol ink well. It'll be visible on the backside of the page, but it won't bleed onto the next page. My ink pens all apply and dry well on the pages, including white gel pens. However, if you've used a lot of alcohol marker on the page already, the white gel pens won't apply as well.

I use this paper to practice handlettering. The paper is very smooth which helps to not fray the brush markers.

I absolutely love this paper! I’ve been teaching myself how to do calligraphy with numerous brush pens. Lately I've been using the TomBow brush pens and this paper is the perfect practice paper. It’s sheer so it’s easy to practice by tracing first. It’s also very smooth so brush pens don’t get ruined! I recommend!

I bought this for my son with a set of sketching markers. He is only 10 so a bit heavy handed and the paper did its job great with zero bleed through. I would definitely buy again!

Best blank paper for Modern calligraphy! Won't ruin your brush nibs (tips)! It's also semi transparent, so you can place over lined paper to keep lines straight, or to trace a pencilled sketch or lettering to finish a project.
