I purchased a basic starter set of the GO GO SMART WHEELS last Christmas for my nephew who was 1 at the time. It was very simple for him to use at age 1, but also enough to keep his attention. Since then, his parents and I have bought several of these sets and they love them. He is 2 now and he can set up the tracks all by himself. That snap together very easily. Each car has it's own programs so that the tracks know what type of vehicle passes certain key points. They light up. This can be as small or as large as you're willing to make it. The cars are perfect for little take alongs too, because they talk and light up on their own without the track. They bought a piece of plywood and covered it with felt. Great purchase!

Wonderful cars. We have 8 different VTech smart wheels cars and our 2 year old loves them. We gave them to him at 15 months and he really started loving them at 18 months. Now this is his favorite go-to toy. Of the cars we have, we have had to replace 2. The airplane that came with airport kit stopped working after he dropped it; however all the other cars that he dropped have held up great. We also had to replace one yellow car when the song started to skip beats and would have to turn the power off to get the music to stop skipping. Overall, I would highly recommend this for any toddler who loves playing with anything that has wheels and makes fun music!

My daughter has three of these vehicles --- a car, a van, and this tractor -- and she likes all of them the same, but my favorite is the tractor. It's educational and fun. Each vehicle teaches a letter, teaches the function of the vehicle, and introduces the driver with a name that starts with the same letter as the vehicle ("I'm Tyler, and this is my tractor"), and it does this through cute songs. This one teaches that tractors make his work easy and about harvesting. Toy cars are usually given to boys, but my sister bought the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Car for my daughter for her first birthday, and she absolutely loved it. Because she likes it so much, my husband and I got her this tractor, a van, and the Go! Go! Smart Wheels Car Carrier (which is great also!). I plan on collecting more for her. The voices are a bit loud, with no way to adjust volume, but they're not too bad, and they also don't sound scratchy the way a lot of loud toys sound. The voices are very cute and I don't find them annoying at all. You can make it sing and talk by driving it or by pushing the windshield, which also lights up. The vehicles are turned on and off easily with a switch located either on the back or underneath, depending on the vehicle.

The Tow Truck I ordered is great! It does exactly as described and it’s very cute! Also very easy to hold on to for little hands. However, we didn’t get the yellow/grey design as seen in the picture. We got a blue/orange/green tow truck, which is awesome because we like those colors even better! I’ve ordered the Police Car in the past for my nephew and that one was great too!

This review is for the VTech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Green Race Car. Some other reviews seem to be talking about some other toys. I'm not sure how these reviews are being combined, but that's what I'm reviewing. My 20 month old twin boys love cars and trains. I bought this close to a year ago for them and I'm just now getting around to reviewing it. While my boys are toddlers and are "on to next toy" as often as anyone, the vtech cars have been a consistent favorite of theirs over the last several months. They like all the cars, but this one appears to be their favorite. I don't know why. They have the vtech race tracks for these cars and they love to make the cars run around the tracks (especially the loop). They also really just like pushing the car around on the floor...table...wall...brother...whatever it can roll on. The fact that it talks is a big hit with them and they'll press the button over and over for a bit to hear what it says. That's with all the cars (and go go smart animals) for that matter, not just this one. I think the cars are about the right size and weight for them. The cars feel substantial, but aren't too bulky for them to carry around and play with. And, of course, there is durability. All of my boy's toys have to be able to take their share of aggressive play. These cars have been dropped, crashed, thrown, used in a sandbox, and maybe even placed in water table (which I wouldn't recommend) and are still around to talk about how it wants to win the race and be a star. So, good marks for toughness.

This little car is the perfect size for little hands. I bought this for my grandson (15 months) and he has played with it more than gifts that were very pricey. I love seeing him rolling this around on kitchen floor. This car plays a number of different songs as it rolls. It features a off button on the bottom if you desire "quiet" play. The windsheild lights up and comes complete with batteries. A happy feature for me :) This car is compatible with the VTech Go Track. The car is well built and free of defect. A great bargin for the price of this toy. I am very happy with my purchase.

This fire truck works along with the VTech Go! Go! sets. Some of the phrases it utters are a little silly, but it's a kids toy so who cares? These are fun and are safe for my 1 year old to play with. There are no small pieces that would be a choking hazard. The colors are bright, and the button is easy to push. It has flashing lights which help keep the attention of a little one. When you run any of these toys along the Go! Go! sets, they have little phrases or songs they sing depending on the portion of the track they're on. I love that there are so many different things the cars will sing or say. It keeps it from becoming too redundant. These are great, durable toys. We have quite a few and have never had any breakage or damage, even with rough play. Highly recommend this line!

Oh boy, these things are such a hit. When my son was about 8 months old and I was looking for some Christmas gifts for him, this caught my eye in the store because of the bright colors and large (tempting) button to push. Once pushed, a melodious song reminiscent of a Broadway showtune introduced me to "Al" and his Ambulance. I know as a parent buying your child a toy that makes noise is generally a terrible idea, but this one seemed different. I was hooked. So was my son. Fast forward 4 months later and we have enough of these little cars to fill the handy carrying case they sell. Though I am less in love with the tracks (that's another review), these are great. My son loves zooming them around the floor sans track (they make all kinds of fun sounds that way) and carrying them around everywhere. Here's what I like about them: -Huge variety of songs and sounds stored in each car. Some noisy toys we have only say 3 or 4 different things and that's when things get old FAST. -With the tracks or without the tracks- doesn't matter, they will have fun either way -Can get them for great deals- especially here on Amazon. Keep an eye on the prices as they fluctuate greatly. -Come with batteries and so far they have all lasted 4+ months (though, I am not looking forward to the day when all 10 cars run out of power at the same time and I have to replace all the batteries) -Wide age range toy. He's loved them since 8 months old and I can see them being loved until age 4 or 5.

My one year old daughter really likes these vehicles. She has this one, a car, and a tractor. The tractor is my favorite, because it's the most educational out of the three. This one does what they all do: teaches the letter V, sings about a van's function, and introduces the driver ("I'm Vinny, and this is my van."), and it does it all through talking and song. The voice is cute and not annoying, although it's a tad bit loud with no way to control volume (not too bad though). It will play music and talk if you drive it or if you push the windshield, which also lights up. It's easy to turn on and off with a switch on the bottom of the van. These are great, especially when accompanied by the bigger items that you can buy for them, like the car carrier. Even as solo toys, these are great. My daughter had her first car for months before I bought her the car carrier, and she loved her single car and still does.

This is the right size to teach the kid.Works with all all smart wheel vehicles. It is lot of fun for the kid & durable & safe to handle. Dear Sir I ordered several toys for my grandson through Amazon.Com on June 19,2014. My order ID is 107-7865710-7085016. I received all of them except the WolVol Electric Fire truck Toy with Lights, Siren & Sound was not in the package.
