My African Grey Parrot loves her sneakers! I untie the laces and then retie two ends together and hang over a perch or a cage bar ( like how you see sneakers outside hanging over telephone lines) I also will connect a bunch of the colorful "C" links for birds and then hang a sneaker off the bottom one. She patiently will link by link pull up her sneaker and take great pleasure in completely destroying her "Converse" sneakers. She is on her 3rd batch of sneakers. Next month I will have to order her some more. The first part to go always is the rubber sole. Nothing else on the sneaker is touched till she completely and intact removes the sole from the shoe. After that it's all fair game.

Very cute and there are no metal bits as shown in the pics. Satised that my fid can play with them and not hurt themselves or anything else.

This Show Gets High Praise From My Birds

We have two cockatiels who love to chew. They have chewed the ends off the laces of my tennis shoes many times. They don't know that it is wrong, it is just what cockatiels do! When I saw this little tennis shoe, I immediately knew my boys (they are both males) would love it and they do. They don't say thank you but use "Pretty Bird" for many meanings, sort of like Aloha. The moment that I showed them the shoe, they said Pretttttttty Birrrrrrrrrrrrrd". An hour later, they were hard at work, chewing on the ends of the shoe laces.

Toy shoes for Parrot

He loves the shoes, unties the laces, removes the rubber, and peals the cloth until there is nothing left. Seems to leave the red ones for last but perfect toy that we can hang on cage and put in other areas for him to find.

Bird Shoes!

My companion parrot (Conure) Loves the Shoooeeeess! She has been curious about my Converse tennis shoes and when I hung a few of these in various spots in her cage. She loves them, some she chewed up, and others are her 'decorations' unscathed except for the ends of the shoelaces where they are promptly set free from the plastic ends.

Great foot toy for African Grey

These are my birds favorite foot toys. They don’t last long as I would like but they’re great because once he gets started they keep him busy for a while. They’re the best thing to give him if you want to watch a movie in peace.

My cockatoo loves these sneakers! I figured since she loves chewing up my sneakers when she sneaks over to them that she'd love these. And she does!

No metal grommets

My African Grey loves these sneakers and this set does not have the metal grommets. I am not sure you get value for your money but my boy just loves them so much. I gave it 5 stars because he loves them even though the features were only 3 stars. if you want a toy that your bird will love this is it, especially if you stuff it with treats.
