So pretty! I followed the size guide and it fits perfectly and it is beautiful. Our Oktoberfest event is next weekend and I can't wait to wear it! Another plus, it got here so quickly (shipped from Texas and I'm in Colorado). I just wish I could get a red or green apron, but I'll keep looking. The white apron is going to get dirty pretty quickly as I am actually working the event. I got the longer style because I'm working the event and I think that makes it more authentic. I'm 5'9" and the longer style hits me right below the knee. Just perfect for what I want! I could even wear it as a holiday dress. The fabric is heavy and it is well made. The top of the dress is lined and I love the embroidery and flower zipper pull! I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Well worth the $$$ spent!

Love this dress. I usually wear a 16 but followed the size chart and bought a 20 and it just barely fit. 22 would have been perfect. I would exchange it but it is for a party this weekend so I will just make do.

This dress is absolutely perfect and will be great for my upcoming vacation to Oktoberfest in Munich. There is no give in the fabric and I had to go 2 sizes up from what I usually wear. It is tight in the bust and across the back but is totally worth it! seller was quick to process my return of my original order.

The dress is beautiful and well made and I love it. After reading reviews and the size chart I measured my waist and got 32 to 33 in. I normally wear an 8 or 10 but have a fairly thick middle and struggled deciding which size so I ordered two - a 12 and 14 (I thought the 14 would fit according to my waist size but it was way too big so I'll return that one). The 12 looks great but is a little big by about an inch in the waist and a couple inches in the bodice but was super comfortable and looked fine - a 10 probably would have fit better but I needed it for a party the weekend after I received it and will have the bodice taken in a little. It is so pretty we ordered a green version in the shorter size for my 25 year old daughter.

Nice, authentic Dirndl dress!

Looks great on my wife - she has enjoyed wearing it! We spent several weeks in Germany and my wife was determined to buy a dirndl dress. However, the prices in Germany (even with the recent strength of the USDollar) were unreasonably high. We returned to the States and found this dress on Amazon at a much better price. The quality and tailoring are superb!

This dirndl is beautiful and high quality. I just returned from travelling in the German countryside and the opening weekend of Oktoberfest in Munich and loved how the red and white flowers on the dress matched all the flower boxes you see on every building. The seller, Trachten World, was very helpful. I wasn't able to find the right fit at first and ordered a few different sizes and styles. Trachten World was quick with the return process. I'm 5'1 and petite, so a size 4 US / 34 EU was the best fit. These dresses are meant to be a little tighter in the waist / bust area to help cinch in your waist and push up your assets :) Even if it's snug, after a few liters of beer and some jagermeister, you won't notice.

Absolutely beautiful authentic dirndl

Absolutely beautiful authentic dirndl. I didn't expect to find this quality available in the USA. My last dirndl was from Austria. Stunning lace apron, with long enough ties to make a bow in front. Lovely blouse. Though there is some small amount of polyester in fabric, it appears and feels like linen and cotton. The fit is as expected, I'd say. I have a 44 in waist and the size 48 fit snugly. Note if you want an above-the-knee or a long, below-the-knee style, both are available.

Beautiful dress

LOVED this dress! It fit me well - probably wouldn't work as well for a small busted woman, the zipper may stick out a little in front, but I'm a DDD. The bodice is lined and dress well sewn. The fabric is nice and heavy. This would be perfect for an October day, but I did return it only because the day I need it, will be hot, and I found a different one of thinner fabric.

Very nice quality. Happy with purchase. The embroidery is beautiful. Agree with other reviews --order 1 size bigger than your usual. I washed it in the washing machine and hung up to dry. It still looks brand new. Very good quality and worth the price.

I really love this dress

I really love this dress! The fabric and embroidery are lovely and really good quality. I'm 5'2", weigh 120 pounds, 34C bust size, and ordered the size 8 according to their size chart. It fits perfectly! Definitely worth the money.
