Wow, brilliant results for informed novice
This works great with HB's Chicago Electric Power Tools Heavy Duty Dual Action Variable Speed Polisher. For 2 of my cars I have washed, clay barred and then used the white pad and the blue pad. 1 car with cleaner wax and the other car with Klasse All in one and the Klasse Sealant Glaze (I probably used the wrong pads for sealant). The results were as I expected, brilliant. Using the including cleaning solution, I used the polisher to spin the dirty pad on a grit guard. And the pads were clean and ready to go again in less than a minute. No signs of the foam breaking down, or ripping. While its a bit pricey, if you know what you're doing you will find it worthwhile. Be sure to read up on technique and best practices, before using. Or watch YouTube instruction videos.

It does the job.
The hex pad design is cool. It reduces sling and is easy to clean. It comes with a pad cleaning solution which is probably just a citrus scented multipurpse cleaner. I only really use three of the pads. There have specific recommended uses, but there are overall two pads each for Correction, Polish, and Wax/Sealant.

Great product!
As a novice, I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. After using, I couldn't be more pleased. I used these with the V series polishes from Chemical Guys, and the Porter Cable 7424XP as this seems to be the most common setup. I polished 3 year old paint on a full sized Ram. I spot polished, (worked out some scratches with the yellow pad and the Chemical Guys V32 polish, followed by complete polishes using the orange (with V34) and the white (with V36). Each step the truck seemed more and more shiny, It now looks fantastic; the paint was't even this nice when I drove off the dealer lot. I didn't get too aggressive and try to remove all the factory orange peel, (yet), but was extremely pleased with the results with just theses steps. I have not yet used the blue, black, or red pads as the finishing products were applied differently, but I may soon do a full polish with the blue and the V38 to see the difference. I also now feel that with the DA polisher and these pads, the policing process is VERY safe. If you have any concerns about burning your paint, you won't. I saw absolutely no signs of paint damage occurring no matter the pad/compound/polisher speed I used. I'm not sure what you would have to do to mess this process up, but it would be difficult To those who have burned up these pads, think the technique must have been improper. I will say that you may need to be a little careful buffing around the end of badges and trim, but after buffing a full-sized truck, the pads still look fantastic. I did need to stop, clean and dry the pads about every 1/4-1/3 of the truck so if you were doing a car, you would likely have to do the same at least once, or have a second pad standing by. I have attached photos of the pads I used after polishing the entire vehicle.

If you're on the fence...just buy it.
I bought this kit for the two black trucks i have. The s10 is the guinea pig for all things paint related. Now..what i did was get on chemical guy's youtube and watched their videos along with junkman2000. Learn all you can before jumping right in. I have never done it and i feel like my results are the best 14yr old daily driven paint will get. Like has been said before the pad selection is great for seeing what you really need. I know I'll be ordering more green, white, and black. I'll post some pictures and let you be the judge. Zero experience coming into this with polishes/compounds. As far as process..i would suggest to follow the flow chart chemical guys have come up.

Great starter kit!
If you're low on pads, this is a great value when you need a little bit of everything. Keep in mind a single pad is going to be hard pressed to do a large job all on it's own, but this will let you try out all the Hex-Logic pads at once to see how well they perform, so you can decide which individual pads you will want in the future. The pad cleaner that it comes with is CONCENTRATED, meaning you'll want to dilute this with water or use it in a small bucket as a pre-soak. If you let your pads sit long enough for all the compound to cure inside the pad, a pre-soak is necessary and this cleaner does a good job. FWIW, you shouldn't let your pads get to that point anyways. As I said this gives you one of everything. Yellow - Heavy Cut & Levelling pad, for use with heavy cut compounds for severely damaged surfaces. Orange - Medium Cut & Heavy Polishing pad, for use with medium compounds & one-step products on damaged surfaces. White - Light Cut and general purpose polishing pad. This is probably the most versatile and well-used on good/decent paint. Blue - Pure polishing pad for use with All-in-One cleaners and glazes, will remove light imperfections and is a really good glazing pad. Black - Extra Fine finishing pad, use this with glazes and all-in-one cleaners on black/dark paint, or paint that's in extremely good shape and/or new. I personally like using this with glazes on new paint that have a sealant built in, or for use with pure sealants and cleaner-waxes. Red - This is the finest of them all, used for the very final application of wax and/or sealants. You can use it for glazes, too - but those will be more effective using the blue or black pads. And finally, the green pad - a cross between white and orange. This pad is extremely versitile and is a great all-around pad for less-than-perfect finishes. I wouldn't use this for final polishing out a black car, but it has the ability to polish out oxidation without cutting, like the orange pad. It was actually designed around ceramic and extra-hard paints that a white pad can't quite correct, and an orange pad can diminish. If only they offered this kit with the ability to choose each of the 7 pads...

Great way to test different pads and polishes on different paints
Great kit. Pads work really well as does the cleaner. This kit gave me a great way to test different pads and polishes on different paints in different condition. Everything from my son's daily driver black Honda CRV and his dark silver Shelby Mustang GT-500 to our bright silver Chrysler Town and Country and new Soul Red Mazda MX-5 Miata. Different manufacturer's paints and paint hardness's with different colors used with various compounds, polishes, sealers and waxes, I was able to find what worked best for each.

Better than most.
Pretty good pads, can't be beat for the kit price I paid. Does a good job keeping product in the pad, just watch your speed. I went too fast with the yellow cutting pad and damaged it. It still works but I ordered another to replace it. Overall though, I'm very happy and recommend this kit to anyone that wants to get into polishing but doesn't want to pay for lake county pads.

Easy to use, color coded pads make keeping everything in order easy.
I’ve used just about every type of polish, compound, swirl remover, cleaner wax etc. from the auto parts store fix all’s to mail order from companies with million dollar Ferrari’s on the cover. This stuff applies wonderfully, removes well and doesn’t seem to clog my microfiber towels as quickly when removing product. Combined with Chemical Guys Butter Wax, the paint appears wet and I can only see the deeper scratches under unforgiving LED lights. In the sun the paint looks flawless save for the numerous small paint chips. The vehicle is a 2009.5 Pontiac G8 GXP that has been garaged it’s entire life and never seen a winter and with only 27,000 miles, the paint was healthy to begin with but what a difference.

REAL HONEST REVIEW!
I LOVE these pads and the cleaner works unbelivebaly well. These are a MUST HAVE PRODUCT especially the cleaner. Ill start with the pads PROS: 1) durability - i still use the fist pads i bought (almost a year ago) and have done many large projects with them 2) functionality - They do EXACTLY what they say they do with no short cuts or failures 3) ease of use - The hook and look makes life so easy and reduces the time it takes to do your project or job. Very forgiving! 4) clean very easy - Paired with the cleaner and hot water the product and paint color you get on them just falls off the pads its amazing. Cons: 1) you have to be careful with all foam pads when you get near stick on logo badges, they will grab and take a small piece of the pad. 2) the pad will gunk up in the dead center after a little while id recommend getting at least 3 of your normally used pads if you plan on doing a full vehicle in a single day. when the pad gunk's up you loose cutting power. I use the yellow, orange and black pads more then anything and since the black pads are just polish with no cutting its not a huge deal to have many but your yellow and orange pads do cut or i have quite a few of them. Chemical guys did come out with a Hex Logic Quantum pads that are the same but with a hole in the middle. They do not gunk up bad at all, the issue was the heat that the center will generate after long period of use but these work just at well. you just have to monitor your equipment like everything else. This is an awesome cleaner only takes 2 sprays per pad, lasts a very long time, and like all chemical guys products IT SMELLS AWESOME. There are not Cons that i have come across. I am not affiliated with chemical guys or paid to give reviews. I am a normal guy given REAL HONEST REVIEWS!

Very Good Value. The cleaner is concentrate so the picture is a bit misleading.
A great "starter" set with everything you need for buffing. As far as pad quality there is very little variation in the foam itself among the more popular brands, as I understand it the foam itself comes from the same manufacturer. Whats less clear is who does the backing to foam part of the manufacturer so there may be differences between the brands. The quality is good and for your average joe/jane these are plenty enough. What is worth considering is the type of pads you need for the type of correction you are doing. Its near 100% certain most people will not use a few of these pads at all especially the yellow and orange pads that have the highest "cut" levels and are only used when doing major corrections. The other thing to note which was not clear to me is the picture shows the pad cleaner rejunvenator as a spray solution. This is a bit misleading. The package includes a trigger spray, however the liquid itself is concentrate which means you cant just throw on the trigger spray to the bottle, you need to first make a diluted spray. This is fantastic however as it means with concentrate you get more bang for your buck and one bottle will last you a long time. I bought two kits so I am set for life. lol Like I said for a amateur wanting to do his/her own corrections and paint maintenance you cant beat this kit. You do not need to buy anything else if you are doing your own car once or twice a year.
