Initial problem with the order but worth the wait!

Long story short, I had some difficulties receiving my order, but it was worth the wait. My first order never came, so I emailed the seller about a week after the estimated delivery date. Sean was very prompt with his response and mailed out the second one without any delays or extra charges. It came about 3 days after I contacted him. I ordered red paws and the tag is very visible. The paw design is cute, but I think bones might have been a better choice. I was very happy with the level of communication and customer service. It would have been perfect if I received my order the first time! --- Update --- I gave 4 stars on my first review, but am changing it to 5 stars purely because of the seller's level of communication and service. So I realized the phone number they printed on the tag was wrong. Somewhat disturbed, I emailed Sean again. I heard from him within a few hours apologizing for the misprint, and that he would send me a new tag the same day. I mentioned above that I would have liked the bone design better. So I emailed Sean to see if I can change my order from Red Paw to Red Bone. I hear back from him promptly explaining that he had already made my order, but he ended up including both Red Bones and Red Paw design due to my inconveniences. Now I can use one of them as a back up. I've been an online shopper for 10+ years and never saw a more responsible seller. Yes, it took me several weeks to receive the right order, but everyone makes mistakes. I'm ordering another tag for my mother's puppy.

I love these dog tags! The price is cheap but the quality is great. I suggest getting dog tag silencers to help make the engraving last which is what I plan to do! This is the back of the tags that I got for all 5 of my dogs and of course the front has all the important info and their names :)

Great tags

Its perfect looks great and we feel so much better knowing our sweet puppy has a tag now! It came faster then expected and seems to be great quality! UPDATE we got another dog and another tag! I love quality of the tags provided by this company and will continue to order from them for any other tags we will need. Added a picture of our most recent tag purchased the small size is perfect for my little guy :) (he is 4lbs for size refrence) UPDATING MY REVIEW! I have made several purchases from this company (We have 3 dogs and have purchased tags for other peoples dogs as well as matching tags for different collars) I have consistantly recieved very good quality tags. I have purchased at least 9 tags from them. This most recent purchase was to replace a almost 3 year old tag. It had been worn along with a rabies tag and the edges were wearing down, but the engraving is still visible and readable! We replaced the previous tag mainly because the color of the collar changed and wanted it to match went from purple to pink have also purchased orange, green, blue, silver, and black. I have added a picture of her old tag we "replaced". Please keep in mind this was worn 24 hrs a day 7 days a week for almost 3 years with the rabies tag in the pic as well. They really do hold up well over time and can really take day to day wear and tear. Not to mention it was on a short chiweenie so it has been threw ALOT! I will ALWAYS buy from Providence Engraving!

So I was really worried and confused how the tags were gonna come out only because I was a little confused when it asked me what I wanted the tags to say before purchasing but it was actually simple! But seriously guys this is really worth it, it's so cheap and it came within 3 days which is super fast! I ordered the paw, pink, large. The quality is pretty cheap and a little thin but it's super cute. Be super careful to not scratch it when you put it on the collard because it will scratch!

Impressed!

A couple of weeks ago I spent an afternoon (much longer than i wanted) reading a bunch of reviews. I didn't know which kind of tag to buy. So many different types and even more opinions. I decided to go the cheap route and I am so glad I did. We received the tags today and they look awesome! I am pleasantly surprised. I honestly expected something to go wrong. The directions ask that we put the info to be put on the tag in the gift message space. I did that. I took my time and had it spaced out so they'd be able to see how I wanted it. At checkout I noticed Amazon removed all my extra spaces. I figured the engravers see enough orders come through that they should be able to figure it out. They came EXACTLY how I wanted. I'm very impressed. Also, in the package also included a note regarding laser printing vs rotary engraving. (That was another hot topic within the reviews). They say laser printing will not rub or wear and encouraged the consumers to search the Internet for more info. I respect how they confronted the issue. In the future, I will definitely buy these again. The price is right and the tags are perfect!

Nice tags! I've had these several months now

Attached photo is after several months of wear. Nice tags! I've had these several months now, and they still look great. I can see why people get confused thinking they aren't engraved, but they are, its just not the typical type you often see at kiosks, it's more shallow and smooth. But there's no way paint would have held up to the beating my dogs have put them through, and they still look perfect. I have two GSDs, and we hike several times a week. I was worried at first that they were painted, especially after a hike I looked and saw the tag looked almost devoid of text, but I grabbed a cloth with warm water, and it came right back. It's very deceiving, but you just have to give them a cleaning once in a while to remove dirt from the etching. They're nicely sized for big dogs, and thick enough not to get bent up. The key rings they come with are a little too sturdy and hard to bend, so I would recommend getting a tag clip to make switching collars easier.

Very nicely made

I can't speak about the long-term life of this tag as it just arrived, but it was very nicely etched with clean lettering. The edges of the tag didn't feel sharp at all, and everything arrived just as I'd ordered it, with a first name on the front, then a first name, last name, phone number on the back. I purchased it to be a small luggage tag to go on the backpack of someone who travels a lot, as I absolutely hate standard sized luggage tags (2.5" by 3.5") because they're in the way and catch on everything. Given the quality/price ratio I plan to purchase a couple more of them to cover all the luggage. For anyone worried about the tag breaking, the circle shape has the most reinforcement around the hole. 1/5/19 UPDATE: I just ordered a second one to put on my own backpack and it also arrived looking just how I wanted. I ordered this one in the smaller circle size, and it should be the perfect ID tag while flying.

Excellent Tags!

This is the second time I've ordered these tags from this seller (due to a nice, not a faulty product). Both times they shipped faster than expected so I was pleasantly surprised with that. The first set we had lasted 3 years on active cats with no fading, chipping, or bending. I'm fully confident it would have lasted longer but I needed new tags with my new address. The engraving is only on one side with this particular design and the detail on the opposite side is nice instead of nonexistent. I had them engrave with my cat's name, my phone number and name, and full address. The cat's name is a little larger then the rest but all lines are fully legible (without my glasses on). I got the paw print design in blue for my boy and pink for my girl and absolutely love them. Placing my order was simple too, I found the instructions on how to pick a design, color, and specify the engraving request were real easy to follow. Any time I need tags in the future I will definitely go to Providence Engraving.

I friggin love this company. I use breakaway collars for an indoor/outdoor cat, so the chances are high of the collar and the tag attached getting lost. Before knowing this, I had only ordered one tag. After losing his first collar and being so pleased with the first tag, I ordered 4 more. Not only is it a great price, but they are so stinking cute and customizable. Sure, a letter or 2 isn't imprinted as fantasticly as you might like, and sure it may fade over time (haven't had that problem yet, tho my cat prob won't keep a collar long enough for the tag to fade). Also, my cat doesn't mind these tags at all...he hated the one we got from a pet store. These are cheap, very good quality, and perfect for someone who has to buy multiples of tags. Shipping takes a while, but hey, worth the wait in my opinion. ABSOLUTELY reccomend.
