Used this part to replace defective actuator motor on 2003 CR-V made in UK, rear driver side. Needed some minor modification to remove some plastic on the lock actuator and on the lock mechanism that this bolts up to. Only one of the electrical connections is used, tape over the unused one. I also used this same part to replace the front driver actuator. In this case it used both electrical connectors and no modification was needed. You might want to purchase a bag of Honda door clips from Amazon to have in case some disintegrate as did in my case. $6.95 for a bag of 25. You tube has videos on how to get the door panel off and replace these things.

So far so good======= My Master Key FOB did not open or close my door locks. (See- Jim the Car guy's - YouTube Video for install) I changed the drivers door unit as pictured above, It now operates driver door remotely as required. I still have additional issues but the driver door works "Nice". This unit is for a Honda CRV 2005 Built in Great Britain, (not Japan) - Double check that! A tough job for most- but can be completed with patience and watching the video.

Watched a youtube video and was able to install it into the door myself! It's pretty straight forward if you're good at following directions. Saved me a chunk of change, thanks a lot!

After installing my door still won't lock or unlock with the controller. With more research, it was both the passenger multiplex and the actuator. The connection on the multiplex broke, so I had to solder a wire to reconnect the connection. Which solved the problem, hope that helped someone.

This actuator fit perfectly in my 2002 Honda Civic sedan. The original lock actuator had failed, and was not automatically unlocking the doors or pushing the unlock knob up anymore, and this fixed it!

After watching some youtube tutorial I installed this myself on Honda Civic 2005 and worked perfectly. Honda dealership was asking $390 to fix this. Yeah, right...

Husband knew how to install so was fairly quick. Works great, no problems so far.

Pain to install, but that's Honda's fault, not the part's

Installed in 03 Si hatch. Install was pretty simple and it solved my issue with key fob not working. Can’t speak on lifespan, but works great now!

Hasta ahora buena inversión, funcionó correctamente.
