Holy cow! We moved into a 3-level home several months ago, and I wanted another vacuum so I didn't have to carry my Shark Navigator (which I LOVE) up and down the stairs. I had settled on the Shark Rocket, because I figured with the lighter weight it would be good for my wood floors (which covers about half my main floor). But when I saw this, I thought the cordless thing might be great for the stairs, and the great reviews convinced me to buy one. We have 2 dogs and 3 kids, and I could not believe what this little thing picked up. Don't let the light weight fool you. This picks up A TON of stuff. I have about 3,000 square feet total, and was able to do my whole main floor, stairs, and about half the master bedroom before the charge ran out. It's awesome on wood floors, plus when I move to a rug, I can hear the roller kick into a higher gear. It doesn't change to the carpet setting, but it's like the roller knows you're on a rug. When you move back to the hard floor, it seems to switch back into the lower gear automatically. Switch it into carpet and it does a great job there, too. On stairs maybe it's not as easy as a hand held, but it's very light, and obviously there's no cord to mess with. Is it as good on carpets as my Navigator? Probably not. But it's perfect for my quick day-to-day carpet vacuuming, and does a very thorough job on my hard floors. I'm almost embarrassed to show what it picked up, but I've attached a picture of what I dumped in my garbage can when I was done! Dog hair galore! If you have a lot of hard floors or need a 2nd "quick" vacuum, this little thing might surprise you.

First off, I have OCD. 😬 I love the shark cordless. Don’t waste your money on other vaccines. Why!??? This one a quality vacuum that get the job done. I have carpet and hardwood floors. It works well on both, this product is made for daily, quick pick ups. I’ve bougjt a total of 5 vacuums for family and friends. The best part is I can clean each level of my house with the battery! I e tried several other brands in the past and the worst is, when you’re in the cleaning zone and it does, there’s nothing more frustrating. I can do my whole upstairs and down stairs! Amazing!

Seriously...this little vacuum is a beast. I live in a 3 story townhouse with high-ply carpets and tile floors. I've also got a Boxer and two long haired cats. I went through two vacuums and almost purchased a Dyson before finding the Shark. It had great reviews so I gave it a shot and am so happy I did. The charge life on the vacuum lasts at least 20-30 minutes of constant use; I can vacuum the entire townhouse on one charge. The collection bin is easy to remove and dump into the trash. The suction power on this thing is no joke; it picks up everything in sight. I waited a few weeks before posting this review because I wanted to get several uses out of it to see if it would last, and it's working just as good as day one. Don't waste your money on a Dyson!

This is my third one!! I abuse the crap outa these vacs and they last me 1.5-2 years. I run it daily until it loses charge at least 3 times. You must remember to empty the multiple areas that collect trash, dust, etc. I also cut away strings, hairs, etc. that has collected around the brush head about once every two weeks. I follow the directs and allow the battery to cool off for 15 min before putting it back on its charging station. I have kids, pets, plants, and a full life happening in my home, thus, i can NOT live without my little shark vac. I have tried similar, cheaper versions; they are crap, don’t waste your time or money on them.

I have a townhouse with hardwood and carpet (about 1400 sq feet) and I use this for both my carpet and hardwood floors even though I only bought it for the hardwood. In fact, I ditched my big Hoover vacuum for this because it works better than I thought on carpet. The one small thing I don't like is that it doesn't turn well. But it's not that big a deal to me. I won't dock a star for that. Plus I knew that when I bought it thanks to these reviews. But if you want something to maneuver around corners very well, this is not the vac for you. The battery is exceptionally great. A full charge can last for my entire job (about 10-15 min) and I love that you can keep it charged without harming the battery like many rechargeable batteries. I also love how easy it is to empty the dust container. You just hover over a trash, push the release button and the container opens and empties the dirt into the trash. There's also a small sponge filter that you have to keep clean (soapy water and let it air dry) but it's nice because it's reusable. I usually clean mine monthly or less depending on use.

If this vacuum was the star of a movie it would receive an Oscar. It’s that awesome. I kept going back and forth on if I should pay almost $100 for this thing. But I finally did it. It’s the best little vacuum! I have a small house with wood laminate, carpet & rugs. It works amazingly on everything. There’s no cord so it’s so easy to go from room to room. Plus it has this swivel thing and it’s lats way flat and I can go under the couches, beds, tv console every thing. It’s just great. I won’t tell you how much I had to empty out the canister. I guess my previous vacuums were terrible. Also. I have 2 cats and a dog. This gets up all the fur! It’s so worth it. My house is small only 1300sqft but I could still get thru each room on a charge. I did find myself going over my carpets again and again because the canister was full. 😣😩 I swear you won’t regret this purchase!

I am handicapped with poor balance from a minor stroke and extreme back pain from spinal injury and subsequent fusion. I haven't been able to push a regular vacuum for many years, having to rely on my husband to do it (and he's barely able to do it lately). THIS VACUUM HAS SAVED ME FROM RELIANCE ON OTHERS!! I LOVE IT!! It works almost as well as my expensive, corded vacuum. The dirt cup is more than adequate size. I emptied it after each room, but our carpet gets really dirty with four dogs. It's so light weight it doesn't throw me off balance or cause back pain. I was baffled at first about where to insert the charging cord and almost called the company to ask them, but finally caught on that it inserts into a charging base (the grey thing that I at first thought was a hanging device). The vacuum rests on the charging base.

For what it is, I love this little vacuum. It is small and lightweight but does an amazing job on pet hair and general dirt. The cup is small and for me it needs to be emptied each use, but I live with three cats and two dogs, so someone with no pets could probably get several uses before needing to empty it. (the good news here is that it is very easy to empty) There isn't a hose but it is very maneuverable and I use it on the sofa and chairs. I love it for cleaning my car since I haven't a convenient outdoor electrical outlet. I love the cordlessness, So easy and quick. If you have a large home with carpets, you are naturally going to want something larger, but this is pretty handy for a quick clean up and would be fine as your only vac if you have a small living space.

For years I have been looking for a cordless vacuum that actually worked, had a powerful suction and the charge didn't die after a couple of minutes. After trying (and wasting money on) a number of different vacuums by other brands, I have finally found the best ever! This Shark Navigator is the best of the best when it comes to a cordless vac. It sucks up just about anything, even small rocks! I can do over 650 square feet one one charge without ever a drop in power/suction. It moves easily from hard wood floor to carpet. The swivel head gets around corners, in tight spots and snug around furniture legs. The body can drop nearly flat to get under beds, sofas and other low furniture. And the best part?....no stupid cord to wrap up, or to pull out of the power socket by accident while vacuuming, or to get tangled up on stuff or knock stuff over while vacuuming through the house! Best purchase I ever made!

I waited almost a year to write this review. This is the best little vacuum cleaner in the universe. Everything about the design is thoughtful. Convenient to take apart and empty, put back together, remove and clean the filter, recharge. Ease of use is unparalleled due to light weight and rotating head. All my life I have hated vacuuming, and I still don't adore it, but this little cordless machine takes away 88% of the intrinsic aggravation. Does carpet or bare floor depending on adjustment of a step-on button. I have 3 hair-shedding pets and it takes care of everything efficiently. It does not stink while operating, it is not particularly noisy, and it has a friendly vibe.
