LOVE IT. There's no designated puzzle space in my house, so I'm used to constantly relocating. I used to have to use giant pieces of cardboard taped together. That made for uneven surfaces. Needless to say a few pieces got lost, sliding off the cardboard or getting kicked by the dog when he walked all over. Surprisingly lighter than I imagined, this wooden puzzle helper has made my last three puzzles so easy! The drawers are large enough to hold sections that I've solved but can't place in the big picture yet. They're about 8" x 11.5" on the inside (average printer paper is 8.5" x 11"). I personally like that they can come out all the way, so I can place the drawers next to each other or in any way that helps. They slide in and out very easily (note on that later) TWO SIDES OF THE BOARD HAVE EDGES. This means an extra step of caution when relocating the puzzle. You need to carry it either flat or at a slight angle, with the puzzle against the edged sides and that corner lower to the ground so they don't fall off. You also should carry it with something like your body against the short side facing you, so the drawers don't come out. What this structure means: 1. When setting up the edges of a rectangular puzzle, I can use the corner and sides to make sure the edges are straight. Not all puzzles are the same size, so it makes sense that not all four sides try to straighten the puzzle's outer edges. 2. The drawers can be arranged however I like and popped back in for easy transport 3. It can be placed on almost any surface and worked on. I've placed it on the back of the couch and still been able to work! 4. I accidentally got two, so I could work on two puzzles at a time. I also learned it comes in handy when a puzzle is larger than most and I need to put them next to each other for a larger platform, like my most recent puzzle and most 2,000 piece ones. Because I live in a tiny apartment, I am space-challenged, and this board solves the problem of where to store an unfinished puzzle (under the couch) and where to house unused pieces without tossing them back into the box and resorting again. To me, the board and drawers are well made; I had no problems with knobs coming off or drawers sticking. A few reviewers gave low stars based on workmanship problems, and I understand that. But I can't understand one-stars based on "my puzzle doesn't fit!" The description clearly states the size of the "playing surface" and puzzle boxes clearly state the size of each puzzle. So how can one complain that one's puzzle is larger than the board when all one has to do is compare sizes. Doesn't seem to be a fair reason to knock this board down to one-star! If I can figure it out, so should everyone else be able to figure it out!

This was a great purchase. I am going through health issues and have had 2 surgeries in a month. This puzzle plateau was perfect because it is big enough to accommodate a big puzzle, yet small enough to sit in front of the couch and reach all around it. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who enjoys puzzling! The drawers are an amazing idea- keeps you from being inundated with puzzle pieces everywhere! It's also thin enough to store virtually anywhere.

No more backache!

This was a gift for my mother. She called to tell me that by using the drawers for the puzzle pieces, she was able to work her puzzle with comfort and ease...no more standing over the puzzle pieces spread across the table, looking down for hours, which always hurt her back. She put her puzzle together much faster than usual, and all from the comfort of her chair! She loved it!

Great Puzzle Board!

My daughter and I love doing jigsaw puzzles, but once we're spread out, we sometimes need to move the puzzle before completing it. We had one of those felt pieces for moving puzzles (rolling it up, even), but the pieces kept sticking to the felt. This is perfect! We can collect different parts of the puzzles in the drawers. The pieces slide across the surface. Two sides don't have a raised edge. At first, I didn't know why (it "puzzled" me), but if you want to slide pieces off this and onto another surface or slide them from another flat surface onto this, you can do it on the flat edges. We've had this on a nice wood table, and it didn't scratch the wood. We've also just put it on a t.v. tray to work on a puzzle while watching t.v. I love it!

Nice product!

We ordered this so we can have a puzzle going but easily remove it from our table and place under the sofa when not working on it. I am happy with it. It’s good quality, but not very heavy when moving around. So far we’ve done a 550 piece puzzle on it and it worked well to fit the puzzle and loose pieces. I agree with other reviewers that with a 1000 piece puzzle you probably couldn’t fit the puzzle itself, and definitely wouldn’t have room for loose pieces. They’d have to go in the drawers and on a table. I would recommend this and am very glad I own it!

Wonderful board. I love it!

Toxic waste isn't as well packed as this was. My husband almost gave up getting it uncrated. No downsides to this board as far as I can see. Well made, perfectly flat. Drawers are perfect for sorting pieces by color and have a bit of "give" to fit the frame so they go in and out easily and smoothly. If humidity makes them swell a bit, it won't be catastrophic. However, I will be storing this in plastic, lying flat under my bed when not in use.

This is a great product! I always have a puzzle going on my formal dinning room table. It looks kind of messy and if I have to use the table it is a pain to pick up. With this puzzle board it is easy to keep organized and put away if I need to. I can't thank my Facebook friend Deborah enough for suggesting it!

Best Christmas Gift!

I purchased this for my Nana for Christmas as she's always doing puzzles and stealing my parent's card table. She's always difficult to buy for, but this was a winner. She's been using it non-stop ever since! She (and my parents) love being able to move the puzzle at whatever stage it's in. It arrived in perfect condition and works great. The drawers do come out all the way, so you have to be careful about pulling them out, but that's helpful too because you can sort, move around, or use them for creating sections of the puzzle and then moving them into place. I would definitely recommend this for any avid puzzle builder.
