I finally decided to buy a drill after my most recent move. I had things to install around the house, my dresser needed new holes drilled for the mirror attachment, curtains to hang, and I didn't want to have to have everything ready to go all in one day so I could rent a drill. Plus, as a renter, 2-3 drill rentals equals the cost of this kit, and this is obviously a much better value, so if you have the money in your budget, absolutely buy. My boyfriend's response when he saw this kit: "how much did this cost? I want one for myself!" Everything fits nicely in the bag--however, I do wish it came with some smaller pockets/compartments for the small, sharp things. I grabbed an old makeup bag for the little things and tossed it into the larger bag it came with. I'm sure eventually I'll upgrade to a better project bag, but this works for now. The drill did have a little trouble when we hit studs, but did great with drywall and the furniture. Powerful enough for anything I would probably be doing, but definitely will need to upgrade for any heavy-duty building. Definitely would recommend for the hobbyist crafter, fix-it-yourself-er, or renter.

Great kit. I am a woman, so I appreciate the smaller size of the drill and how lightweight it is. I have small hands, so the drill fits perfectly. And dont let its size fool you. I was able to drill in concrete walls with no problem (NOTE: the bits included are only for wood, you need to buy separately concrete drill bits). The battery lasts a long time. I did not charge it when I first received it until about 3 weeks after and it still had charge in it. Has all the tools one may need. I did buy a tool box and transferred all the tools to it, just to have everything more organized and easily visible and to temper my OCD. Great package deal. Very happy with it.

When I received the set I started to take everything out of the tray and put it in the bag that came with it... But then I remembered all the reviews saying that they didn't like having the sharp pieces floating freely in the bag. So instead of using the bag that came with it I decided to cut off the top of the box it came in and just store the kit, with the clear molded plastic that came on it, on a shelf, like pictured. We find it really handy to be able to see everything at once and for everything to have a place.

Its is a drill. Now since I just use it for easy around the house projects and I am not a carpenter it works great for me! I was shocked at how small it was...I was replacing an old cordless drill I kept around the house for minor repairs and putting up curtain rods or using as a driver to assemble furniture.....next to that old drill this looks like a toy...but it works. I however could offer no expert opinion on whether or not its a fantastic drill. I can tell you it gets my little jobs done just fine. But if you are buying because it has a little bag with it to keep everything in...buy something else that bag is pretty useless lol.

Update 1/2017 The drill is still going strong. I broke a few drill bits when I accidentally hit concrete. This is expected as the drill bits aren't made for concrete so it's entirely my fault. Don't expect the drill bits to be extremely durable if you use them often or for years, as I have, but they're definitely for small everyday things. Sometimes when the drill hits harder surfaces, the drill bits get a bit stuck in the surfaces and they loosen from the drill. Update 12/2015 My dad and I used this drill set to build a greenhouse with wood and polycarbonate from the ground up and install the shelves. The battery lasts for a long time and we only have to charge once a day after a whole day of use. It's a bit banged up from all the use and abuse, but it's still going strong and has become my dad's favorite drill. He barely uses his corded drill anymore. I think he's claimed it as his own now ... The spade bits were used to drill into 4"x4" wood for the greenhouse frame to make holes for 1/2" hex bolts. The different sized drill bits proved to be useful for the different sized screws we used for the greenhouse. Since they aren't as sharp as the more expensive brands, they do take a tiny bit longer to drill through certain things, but for those with less experience, the slower equipment allows more time for precision. My dad has limited vision so the drill and drill bits give him time to steady his hands and also allow him time to see where the drill is going while he's on. *** Instead of asking for jewelry, I asked for this drill kit as a Valentine's Day present. It's hands down the best drill I've used. It's small yet powerful. I have tiny hands and I can hold the drill comfortably in my hand without getting tired. The drill bits are easy to switch out and tightening it doesn't require a lot of strength. I use this drill on almost all my DIY projects around the house, like fixing my Roomba, installing ceiling fans and installing curtain rods. The only thing I don't like about this kit is it doesn't have a box to hold all the drill bits. The bag has no compartments to keep the drill bits separate. I keep the sharp kits in a smaller bag and throw that in with the rest of the tools. But the con isn't enough to decrease the rating. Included are: Cordless drill 1 battery & charger 5 spade bits (1/4, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1) 10 metal drill bits (1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64, 5/32, 11/64, 3/16 and 1/4) 4 hole saw drill bit (1-1/4, 1-1/2, 1-3/4 and 2-1/8) & arbor 32 screwdriver bits (flat head, Phillips, square, nut, slotted, Torx) 1 high torque screwdriver 4 nut driver bits (3/16, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2) 1 knife 1 hammer 1 flat head screwdriver 1 Phillips screwdriver 1 needle nose plier 1 slip joint plier 1 adjustable wrench 1 tape measure

I wanted just the drill but with such a small price difference, I decided to get the set (it was on sale for just $50 from Amazon). All the tools included are of decent quality. The drill is strong enough and last long, more than enough for a home owner. My main drill set is Milwaukee which is of course stronger but also cost 3 times more. I use this drill to mix paint and it does a great job. Speed is easy to control and it's very light for long uses. Battery stays charged for long too. The screw drivers included are odd size, PH3 and 5/16 flat (very big) which are not commonly used and I personally almost never use. All in all, a great set for the price. I bought a second set for my brother in law.

This was one of my better impulse purchases! The drill is perfect for those needs around the house and outdoors. The battery life is excellent so far. I was using the drill with a furniture wax buffer and the battery lasted quite well without needing to be recharged. The hole bits were sharp enough to go through cork tile and particle board without any shredding of the cork! The only cons about this set is the bag being too small and all the attachments not having a dedicated storage container. I had a small locking lid plastic container that I am using to put all of the bits and smaller hand tools in. The larger hand tools will fit in the bag with the drill and charger with this container but it is a tight fit. I ended up buying a larger $20 tool bag so I didn't have to stuff everything in that smaller bag so that the charger will not become damaged and I will also not have to worry about leaving something behind having to unpack the smaller bag to get to what I need.

Recently my old cordless battery finally gave out and will not hold a charge, it's an old NiCad and they are notorious for not holding a charge. I decided to go on Amazon to find a replacement battery, unfortunately it was $45-50 for a battery, so I figured it would be better to get a new cordless. I found the drill and the battery for around $45.00, but after scrolling down a bit I found this listing, and after reading all the positive and negative reviews I decide to give it a shot. The order arrived a week ago, and once it arrived I gave the battery a full charge (3-4 hours), just like the manual had indicated. Today I finally decided to test the drill, and it performed very well. I drove 5, 3" wood screws thru a piece of 2X4, and there was no problem. Someone had wrote a review that they couldn't drive any screws, I'm willing to bet that they did not adjust the clutch. You need to start out at the lowest setting, once the clutch slips move to a higher setting until it does not slip. Next I tried a few of the drill bits thru the 2X4 and it worked fine, just got to remember to go a a steady pace, and back out every so often to clear the material. I didn't try any other tools that came with this kit, the reason it was stupid. They just ordinary tools if you can't use them right then don't buy this item. The only "negative" I can leave on this product is the bag is very crappy. When I received the order I didn't think all the tools would fit in the bag, but it did with some extra room for a few more odd and ends. That's the plus side, however it lacks pockets and the fabric is terrible, some kind of 200 grade nylon (I work for a bag manufacture). Over all, I like this item, and it was a good buy for the price. I was more interested in the cordless performance, torque, and battery longevity more than anything else. All the other accessories I already have, but for the price they were a nice feature, and a good back up. I only use my cordless a 4-5 a year so it's perfect for me, but if you are "pro" this is not for you. Go get a Dewalt, they are the best. I hope this helps someone.

My husband was in desperate need of a new drill set. He wanted one that had decent power and torque, so I did some research. While this is not the most powerful drill out there, it looked like it would fit our needs. I went ahead and got it for him for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. He said that for the size of the drill, it has great torque and power. The drill comes with a number of pieces to help with any project, and has the charger with it. The drill holds a good charge - much better than other drills we have had in the past. There are several bits with it, as well, which is very nice. Everything is nicely packaged and comes with a carrying case that seems well-made. We plan to use this drill set for basic little projects around the house. My husband is also working on building some wood-working projects such as a bookshelf that he is excited to use the drill for. With so many pieces in the set, we likely won't have to go buy extra pieces.

This set is fantastic. I bought it after buying my first home. I used these tools and the drill to do projects before moving in. I changed out every light fixture in the place along with all of the outlet receptacles and light switches. I also put together quite a bit of furniture. This set had everything I needed to take care of all of these projects, and they have held up very well. Everything seems pretty durable. If you just need a set of tools for occasional jobs around the house, this is definitely the set to buy. Great value for your money. The only criticism I have is I wish that the bag had pockets or something. I hate to just throw everything into an open bag like that.
