I purchased this bag to transport my breastpump and required parts and accessories back and forth from work, because let's be honest...who wants to drop $100+ on a breastpump bag??? Not this mama. I have the Medela Pump In Style Advanced pump, and this bag is perfect to fit everything except for my ice pack cooler. It comes with Velcro inserts to create different compartments, but the beautiful thing is that the Medela Pump In Style Advanced motor box comes surrounded by Velcro itself...I just popped it out of the fabric box it came in, stuck it in the DSLR bag, and used one Velcro compartment wall to lock it in. It fits perfectly! On the other side of the wall I place my bottles/valves/flanges, with enough room to place 4 total, so enough for two complete pumping sessions. Behind the motor and bottles along the inside lining is a flat pocket, in which I place a small light digital kitchen scale which I use to determine the exact amounts I pump. Inside the top flap is a mesh zipper pocket, which perfectly fits my bottle caps and a large ziplock back which I use to hold my dirty bottles until I get home. Two outer side zipper compartments perfectly hold my tubes and the A/C Adapter. The outer front zipper compartment holds my hands-free pumping bra. When I first received this bag, I thought there was no way I could have fit everything, but it fit just right. If you're a mama with this same breastpump, I couldn't recommend it more, it's perfect...and at a quarter of the cost of the Sarah Wells and Kaylaa bags, it's an amazing value and savings as well!

As what others mentioned, the size is just perfect... not too large but not too small. I can fit my DLSR with 18-200mm lens and extended battery pack, along with my external flash, and my Sony camcorder & charger in the main compartment. My DLSR battery charger fits perfectly in the side pocket, and there's a plethora of other pockets available through out this bag. The only thing that I didn't like was the velcro underneath the large flap cover. It made opening the case annoying and loud when I needed to be quiet at times. So what I did was I cut a piece of velcro that I had picked up from Home Depot ($2) and put some black electrical tape over the sticky side so it didn't stick to the large flap cover. That way the large flap cover is only held on by the 2 external buckle clips. If I want to use the velcro again, I'll just peel off the velcro pieces and everything will be back to normal. I uploaded a pic to show what I meant.

Awesome bag! As you can see in the image, it's holding my Canon 70D fitted with a 18-135 lens and filter+hood, and also another Canon 70-300 USM lens, and a 50 mm f/1.8 lens (I can stack up more on top of the 50mm like another 85 mm or 40mm pancake if needed. There's also my oversized Pixel Mago flash with diffuser and also my Sony PJ820 Handycam. On the side pockets, it's holding the battery charger, all of the batteries and cleaning kit. In the pockets are filters, spare memory cards, cables, etc. As you can see, the bag is slightly stressed but once closed (pic 3), it works smoothly and protects everything nicely. My tripod/monopod can hook up to it as well although I like to keep that separately. I love the fact that it can hold so much. I especially love the fact that the whole strap can go cross shoulder for my size (since I am relatively huge guy). Overall, Love this bag and will keep an eye on a MkII version of this.

I’m a retired professional wildlife and nature photographer. Over the past 40 years I’ve probably used 25 different camera bags, many of them the backpack style necessary to carry big, heavy SLRs and their lenses on treks and overseas trips. Backpacks are great for carrying lots of equipment, but they’re difficult to shoot out of because, for most, you need to find a dry, clean level spot in order to open them up, and it’s easy to spill gear. So I usually used the backpacks for trekking and travel, and a slightly smaller bag to work out of if I’m closer to base. That was then. Now my love of photography has been rekindled by the use of smaller, lighter mirrorless cameras and their smaller lenses. I still take a lot of equipment on a big trip, but now the backpack can be much smaller. (I’m now using the excellent Amazon Basics one.) For typical day-use to shoot from, this medium bag has been perfect for me. It holds my Fujifim X-T2 with 18-55mm lens attached, a 10-24mm wide angle zoom, and a 55-200mm telephoto zoom, plus small items. That covers a huge range of photo opportunities in a very compact bag. (I leave other lenses, backup body and charger in the backpack.) (Have you seen the reviews from people surprised by the size of bags they’ve received, or that their equipment won’t fit? Have they heard of a tape measure? Just measure your equipment at its largest point, then add about 1/2” for each divider. Compare that to the interior demensions provided. This bag has one row, 10.2” long.) This medium bag is amazingly well designed and constructed and a joy to use. The styling is understated as it should be. The stitching and zippers are not heavy duty, but adequate. The orange interior makes it easier to see what’s inside. The faux-flannel on the dividers is soft on your equipment, but it might not last as long as shinny polyester. The padding is perfect: closed-cell foam in the right thickness to protect without adding unnecessary bulk. And mine, at least, doesn’t squeak! The top folds complete back out of the way. Overall, a very good bag at any price, but a steal at this price.

I just converted from my old dinosaur DSLR equipment and the huge bag it takes to hold everything to a DLSM (mirrorless) micro 4/3rds system. Since I no longer need a huge bag to haul my new system, I tried two other bags...then, I found this bag. I am not kidding, this bag is absolutely perfect. It holds my Panasonic Lumix G series body with a pancake lens, two Lumix power zoom lenses, filters and has just enough room left for another small camera like a superzoom. It is extremely well padded with adjustable compartments. There is plenty of secure extra storage for a phone, extra batteries, charger, etc. There is even a padded place for an iPad. The bag is easy to open with one hand and sits flat on it's bottom. It is perfect for the car. It sits well out of sight on the floorboard and when I need it, I can put it in the passenger seat and access everything I need without it slipping or sliding around like larger bags tend to do. If you want a top quality, incognito, camera bag look no further. Amazon hit a home run with this one. UPDATE: I have had the bag several months now and it still impresses me. There is nothing I would change about this "five star" bag. UPDATE: June 2015. Bag is holding up like a champ. No wear, nothing broken and hauling FIVE lenses and a camera body.

I bought this camera bag to house my Nikon D5200 because a prior Case Logic bag I bought wasn't big enough (it was still quite nice, but just too small). Here are my pros and cons. Pros 1. Spacious. It fits the camera, lens, cables, battery, and battery charger all in the main compartment. I have the manual in the front pocket and there are still 2 empty pockets for me to place other things. 2. Looks nice. The orange interior makes finding things easier (a black interior would make literally everything blend in) and the exterior is well made. 3. The main compartment has 2 straps, velcro, and a zipper. I feel like my stuff is safe. 4. I haven't seen any of the issues with straps that others have mentioned. Not calling them liars or anything, but maybe theirs should've been exchanged for one without those problems. 5. Comes with a second strap that's attached to the sides if you prefer to use that rather than the handle that's already there. 6. The main compartment is customizable. You can remove the dividers and place them where you want. I liked this a lot because it lets me space out the inside how I like. Cons 1. The main compartment takes a minute to get into. If you're forgetful like I am and have to get into the main compartment over and over again to get stuff you forget, this can get tedious. 2. You have to attach the straps to carry this bag by the handle. However, Pro #5 kind of cancels this out. Overall, if you're buying a DSLR and you don't have a billion lenses, this is a great purchase. Multiple ways to carry it, lots of space, nice colors and build quality. AmazonBasics is becoming more and more awesome and I'm glad I got this bag. I'd recommend it to anyone who has a camera, a couple of lenses, and a need for some extra space.

Outstanding bags for the price. I have three of these - two orange and one gray. One bag holds a full-size D5 or DLSR+Attached battery, plus a 35mm film camera, a GoPro, and all the accessories, cleaning, filters, and charging equipment. Each of my bags are setup as a fully self-contained "kit" for specialized uses. A bag will easily fit a D5 or D200+Battery Pack; GoPro + Spare Case & hot shoe mount; Nikon FM2 35MM Film Camera; Six rolls of film; Two hard memory storage cases; Full cleaning kit, chargers, filters, spare AA, AAA, and DSLR and GoPro batteries, etc... Attached pictures do not do them justice. One trick is I leave the lens attached to each camera. You can easily carry a camera and three full lenses if you wish. The best part of this bag is the "double top" the "outer hood" flips over and buckles shut. Under it a zipper lid stays closed over your gear, keeping it dust free. I use waterproof spray and either silicon or beeswax on the zippers because they will spend their fair share of time in the rain/mud/snow/whatever -- Expect to trash at least one of these a year if you are an active outdoor photographer. But that is more the abuse of the equipment than the equipment itself. The setup in the pictures works best for me - but there are a lot of other good examples shown by other reviewers. As for color - Orange is better than Gray in my opinion because gear is easier to see inside the bag with that contrast. I would buy more colors if Amazon sold them however, just because my kids are specialized for different use-cases. The way I have these bags setup is: 1) 35mm Film Landscape and Macro 2) DSLR+35mm Portrait and Street Photography 3) DSLR+35mm Generalized Travel Photography I will convert my Nikon full-size bag to an Amazon bag when it wears out. I can't say enough about these bags from a functional use perspective. They are not pretty, or leather, or designer - but for a functional hardcore photographer, these are ideal. Features I like: 1) Size Zipper Pockets on each side: Big enough to put charger, wires, and USB cables in one side; and batteries & lens/body caps in the other. 2) "False Pocket" inside the bag: You will notice a battery bank, hot shoe mount and hard memory case stuffed into the "false pocket" inside the case; Below that stuff are two filters in plastic cases -- it works absolutely brilliantly. 3) Front large external zipper pocket: I stuff the strap and a trash bag in here. It has what I consider to be a useless sewn-in pocket on the inside, but aside from that, I like the generous size of that front pocket for bulky cables and crap that just doesn't fit neatly in the case. 4) Netted pocket on inside of inner-lid: Perfect for wipes, DSLR sensor cleaners, thumb drives, extra eye-pieces/black-out eye pieces, etc.. 5) Size above all. If they made this bag literally one inch wider and deeper it would be 1000% perfect, but that is also personal preference. Everything in this bag fits perfectly snug, and I can roll, twist, turn, and flip upside down and nothing moves. It is really a well-designed bag if you do your part and configure it appropriately. Things I don't like: 1) The strap for the bag has a hideous "Maxi-Pad" looking shoulder pad that is essentially useless. The strap also has bulky plastic hooks. The strap is so useless it should go directly to the landfill from the manufacturing line. Because I am able to separate it from the bag and burn it, the rating of 5-stars is still appropriate for the bag itself. 2) "Tripod Retention Loop/Buckles" on the bottom - They are kind of useless. I used Velcro to stuck them in so they don't flop around like a ragbag. I tried attaching a tripod and a mono-pole to them at first, but it makes the bag awkward and other than the fact they can provide spare buckles if your primary ones break - they are nothing more than an example of what looks good on a whiteboard doesn't always translate into what works in real life. 3) Not enough rubber/feet/clearance on the bottom bag pads for what I do. My bags will be sitting in mud, wet surfaces and other unfriendly places. I don't think Amazon can really be at fault for this however - they did a great job with the bottom skids for 99.9% of consumers. 4) Plastic anchor loops for the crappy plastic and maxi-pad shoulder strap: These are sewn-in. No plastic should ever be used where a critical anchor point is needed. These should be metal, or just a heavy sewn-loop of canvas strap. Again - this will probably be okay for consumers, which this bag is made for - but plastic for an anchor point? Really? That said - they are pretty robust pieces of plastic crap. Comments and Observations: 1) I would buy different exterior and Interior colors of this bag. They only come in black with choice of orange or gray interior. If Amazon made more color options, I think they would sell a lot more of these. I would buy them in different exterior colors without a doubt. 2) I think the way the straps come together with the Velcro handle could be improved. It isn't bad, but it isn't really great either. It is simply functional and unremarkable. This is being as hyper-critical as I can on the product - because it really is an amazing product overall, for the price, and the fact that it is designed for consumers and not professionals. I hope this review helps you make your choice.

I actually bought both the medium and large sized bags because I wasn't sure what size to get, and I can say with confidence that you want the large one, even if you don't have a whole lot of stuff to carry. Here's why! First off, build quality. The large has much more heft to it, and has padding on the top flap whereas the medium does not. Overall, the large just feels much softer and has better padding than the medium. Also, the large has two buckles on the front as opposed to just one on the medium. It feels much more secure with the two! Second, pockets. The medium has one extra pocket on the front, and it is TINY. I could fit some batteries in there and like a filter or two, but that was about it. The large has pockets on both sides, as well as a roomier front pocket and ANOTHER pocket that works as a zippered inner lid, beneath the flap. More pockets to put your wallet, phone, batteries, lens hoods, etc! Third, size. The medium is only marginally smaller than the large, but it carries way less stuff. I could barely fit my camera with a normal lens on it and a speed light, and that was it. The large, however, can fit those as well as an extra 200mm and 28mm lens with hood on, and still more room to fit some other stuff! So for just a few dollars more, you get waay more out of the large bag than with a medium. Take it from me, just get the large. PS, I solved the "squeaky strap clip" problem by giving the joints a quick blast of silicone spray. Safe to use on plastic, and the squeaking is gone!

In the main compartment I have my Canon SL1 with the 55-250 lens on. I also have my Canon 18-55 lens, my Tamron 18-270 lens, my Panasonic HDC camcorder and my Canon 430EX II flash in its case. Everything fits in there very comfortably and securely. I still have a large pocket in the back of the main section where I have 2 camera lens covers, a microfiber cloth and a UV filter. In one of the side pockets I have two extra Vivitar batteries and a charger with a car charger (2 Pack) LP-E12 Battery and Charger Kit for for CANON REBEL SL1, EOS M, 100D - Includes: 2 Vivitar Ultra High Capacity Rechargeable 1275mAh Li-ion Batteries + AC/DC Vivitar Rapid Travel Charger + Cleaning Kit + MagicFiber Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth . I still have another side pocket that I haven't even used. It is comfortable to carry and at only $20 this case deserves 10 stars. With the exception of not having an all weather cover, this case is perfect......
