As good as or better than the original lens cap

This is the second time I've ordered replacement lens caps from this company. No disappointment with this second order. The tether line to keep the cap from disappearing while you are taking pictures works well. Some have complained the cap can become detached from the tether line. I have not had that problem after much use. I think the secret is to press the button that attaches the tether line to the cap long and hard to achieve a good bond. As to the caps performance the spring release is relatively strong so the cap is not going to be knocked off if accidentally hit or brushed up against a solid object. It attaches firmly to your lens yet is still easy to remove when time comes to shoot pictures. In that respect it is in my opinion better than the original cap it is replacing. I find it is easy to attach and remove even with a lens shade attached. Of course if you have one of those extra thin filters (as used with wide-angle lenses) on your lens no lens cap is going to work. Otherwise this cap will work well for you at a small fraction of the cost the original brand name cap your lens would normally use.

A blessing . . . u better believe it!

I purchased these lens caps a while back because, although my zoom telephoto lens is 70mmx300mm a normal cap would not fit (the circumference is 67mm) and the glass could get scratched. So, I looked around on Amazon and found these great items almost immediately. Now, I was able to protect my lens. Not only do I have the lens cap on now, but I have three more caps, just in case the one gets damaged or falls off the keeper string. As far as I am concerned it was a "good job" all around. Thank you for selling on Amazon!

Solid Quality, Very Reasonable Price

I liked the price for the 4-pack lense packs, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the materials. The caps feel sturdy and well made. The fit on my Cannon lenses seem good and solid. It's a little different from my Cannon lense caps, but these are a universal cap style. They have not popped off accidentally and I'm confident they won't in the future, they fit on solidly. I like the attachment string/elastic/sticker. The sticker part had heavy duty sticky to attach to the lense caps that promises to hold long term (I can't promise it'll hold for years, but it looks good, it's certainly good now), the string and elastic are heavier duty than I expected which is a big deal, since my family tends to lose lense caps, and these look like they will hold up for a long time. This is the best lense caps purchase I've made in a long time.

Fits like a glove

I have a Canon Rebel and manage to lose the lens cap at least once a year. I assumed tourist locations would sell lens caps, but have been sadly mistaken. Thus, my camera lens has suffered a few smudges and minor scratches. This is a nice package because you get 4 lens caps and the option to attach a leash holding the cap to the camera. Hopefully I will be set for the next few years. Also - the package came quickly to my door.

Fantastic Lens Caps

These caps fit perfectly. What a deal to get four, because I may very well lose another one. The caps are sturdily made. The clips are easy to find to remove the cap from the lens. I love the feature of the elastic band that fits around the lenses. That way, the lens cap can be completely removed when desired, such as using the camera on a tripod. The dot that self-sticks to the lens cap is not a very permanent mount, but I use E6000 glue to attach it and I know it will not accidentally disengage.

What's not to love?

I bought these caps because I am forever losing lens caps. Yeah, I needed new caps, but the major selling point for these was the included tethers. The caps fit my Canon lenses well, and have not had one accidentally fall off yet, but if it did, it's on the tether! The tethers are not too long and so far, are durable enough. The only minor complaint is that the tether elastic isn't of the best quality, but at this price, I still think this kit is quite a bargain! I won't hesitate to order again, if needed.

Great product with fantastic customer support

First, the product: The product arrived in great condition, each cap wrapped separately in it's own plastic bag. The caps perform the exact same way as the original OEM canon lens caps. The elastic band to attach the lens cap to your lens is perfect - snug fit, doesn't get in the way, you can keep the elastic band anywhere on the lens, whatever is comfortable for you. I will most likely never lose another lens cap. It's great to have a few backups nonetheless. Also included with the product are line strings, to, I assume, attached your new lens caps to the shoulder strap hooks on your camera. I'm not using these strings, but they seem long and strong enough to get the job done. Note: Other reviewers have posted reviews for the Canon Rebel T3i. If you have the 18-135mm lens, you will want the 67mm lens cap size. Second, the company: I made a mistake while ordering (my fault completely), and emailed the company just as an FYI. Tom from customer support replied to my email within hours, and we had a great conversation back and forth -- with all emails being replied to quickly. That alone is amazing customer support. Tom then went above and beyond, at their cost, to fix my mistake. Wow. You don't see that everyday. Overall, I would highly recommend this product.

Lens caps with keepers

These are just marvelous for people like me who are always losing/misplacing their lens caps! It was a little tricky to figure out how to attach them at first, but once I found the directions it turned out to be super easy. Haven't had a chance yet to "field trial" them but I'm sure I'll be very happy.

I've had several other kinds of caps like these and they always felt clanky

First the review. The product came just as described. The plastic doesn't feel cheap, it's solid and the springs on them are not too hard or too soft. I've had several other kinds of caps like these and they always felt clanky, cheap and thin but these ones are just right. For the price you can't go wrong with this. The second thing I would like to point out is the customer service. I was accidentally sent the wrong size lens cap at first. On the day the package arrived I messaged the company letting them know I was sent the wrong size caps. Mind you this all happened over the weekend and a representative got back to me right away. The rep asked me a few questions but I wasn't able to reply until the next morning and to my surprise they got back to me that day as well as letting me know that they were going to send me another set of caps in the right size and that I could keep the ones I was sent on accident free of charge. Kudos to the reps over at CAMKIX a lot of the time I don't expect to hear from customer service over the weekend and their speedy replies was like a breath of fresh air.

Works great for my Nikon P900..

Really only needed just a single stick-on tether for my Nikon P900 lens cap, but found that the included lens caps work just as well and are actually easier to work with (though they're kinda squeaky and feel like a cheaper made cap). Just be sure to remove your cap before zooming (with the tether ring installed close to the body around the lens housing, there's still enough slack to allow the partial zoom that occurs when the camera is first turned on. With the cap installed onto a cheap Tiffin 67mm UV filter threaded into the Nikon P900, I feel the lens is fairly protected. Don't plan on losing any of these lens caps, so I wish the price was cheaper to buy only a pair with a couple tethers.
