Hear distribution isn’t great but it’s a griddle so as expected. I love the plug where it connects to the griddle, hopefully no more bad connections with this wonderful design! The warmer tray is nifty but I don’t really use it. The way it cleans off is amazing, and nothing sticks like many I’ve had before.

Great Griddle!

Great griddle. I had one for years and used it to cook pancakes for my Niece and Nephews on the weekends until it smoked the cord in a beautiful yet scary light show. I got this one as a replacement and have been happy with it. It seems to heat evenly compared to my old one so I'm happy with it. It's an upgrade to what I had and a nice addition to my kitchen.

BREAKFAST FOOD MADE EASY

My husband and I cook a big breakfast every single Sunday, even if we have company or not. We love breakfast food! This griddle has made our cooking time shorter, fun, and easier to clean up. It is big enough to cook both our breakfasts at once or to cook several breakfasts for family and friends in no time. We use this to cook pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and burgers as well. All the grease goes to a small tray that is washable and easy to attach and de-attach. The power cord and heat control panel come off easily as well. The griddle is very light making it easy for us to hand wash even though is dishwasher safe. Overall, we really like this griddle and have had it for a year and a half now with no issues. My dad liked it so much that I bought one for him for his birthday.

Wasn't sure I needed "another" kitchen appliance.. I did!

I have a smooth/glass top electric range and have previously used a square flat pan and also a cast iron, 2 sided grill pan/griddle for making pancakes. I read reviews on America's Test Kitchen site and they didn't think too highly of this product... They aren't usually wrong, and granted, I didn't try out their almost $200 "recommended" model, but for me, a busy mom of 2 hungry boys, this worked so much better than my 2 options I was using before! I do make my bacon in the oven and take it out a little under done and toss it in the fridge. I all at once, reheated/finished cooking my bacon and had space to make also six pancakes.... Next, did 4 over medium eggs just with the bit of bacon grease left from reheating my bacon... It really is non-stick! After that, was able to make 8 larger sized pancakes at a time, no problem! Was easy to clean, put the 2 drawers from the underside in the dishwasher, unplugged this and ran it under warm sink water with a little dish soap rubbed on with just my hands, air dried and done! I'm running out of space in my kitchen so put this on top of the fridge and can't even see it up there! Easy storage! For $30, a definite must have for cooking a lot at once and getting my boys out the door in the morning!

I loved this griddle so much that I bought one for both our sons. It is versatile, easy to clean, never sticks, and cooks everything perfectly. I can crack open eggs right on the griddle without oil, and flip them over for the best eggs over easy ever. I can put frozen French fries right out of the bag on without oil and flip once and they are crispy on the outside-perfect. Bacon doesn't curl up. Hamburgers- perfect. Toast, pancakes- everything comes out perfectly. The griddle cools immediately after you unplug it. Then wipe up with a damp cloth or paper towel, and store on top of your refrigerator so you can have it handy, but not in the way. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this product- and the price is so reasonable, too. I use this griddle right on my countertop. I plug it in and set it on 300-350 degrees and start cooking. Sometimes I turn it all the way up to finish my cooking- fast and efficient.

Ever buy something and then wonder after you got it, what took me so long to buy this? Well, I am so enjoying this griddle and am still amazed at the low cost.. pancakes are so easy and fast...no sticking...just wipe surface off an d you are done. Surface heats fast and evenly, no hot or warm spots. Grease pan slides out too easily but minor detail. Well worth buying.

If you're into making some bacon, get this griddle.

I'm throwing a pancake/waffle party soon and needed an electric griddle to accomodate the 30+ people who are going to destroy my house with breakfast making. I had an old electric griddle a long time ago and loved it but it got neglected and scratched up. So this was going to be my replacement. There's some hate going on in the reviews for this product and not all of it is justified. The gripes worth consideration: yes the cord is very short, so you might need an extension if you don't have a convenient outlet. And yes the bottom heats up quite a bit. It's a budget cooking item and this isn't really a gripe just something you need to be aware of you don't nuke your table. A lot of the other reivews complain about inconsistent cooking or problems with the temperature setting. I feel like that's kind of a weird gripe considering that's true of all electrical heating elements. Just look at the bottom to see where the coils are and plan accordingly. Also let the thing pre-heat and radiate heat throughout and it'll be just fine. Eggs, bacon and pancakes are all easily done and not having to contend with the edge of a pan is so nice. Probably the best part for me is being able to make pancakes for my daughter and myself and not have to choose between waiting for mine to finish while she eats or trying to keep the first batch warm in the oven. Read the instructions, preheat and enjoy!

amazing griddle for the price

Used this for the first time today. Even heating, lightweight and easy to clean! Extremely non-stick. Can't speak for long term quality, but it's an amazing griddle for the price!
