I purchased Crayola's biggest box of crayons as a surprise for my wife's birthday. Weeks later while recounting what a wonderful, supportive husband I am, she finished: "... and you bought me CRAYONS!" Diamonds may be a woman's best friend, but crayons bring out the girl inside.

This is the perfect crayon set that comes in a nice handy carry box. Has all the colors you need for any project. I bought several as gifts for all the grandkids families and for the homeschooling families. Most excellent gift for any child, teen. adult, woman, man who loves to add a little color in their life. My autistic teen, adults love this set with so many choices. DRJ Only thing to improve is there is no real lid, it is jut a holder with crayons with carry handle. it comes with a clear lid, that is a thin clear plastic that just sits on top. was for packing to keep crayons in box, but we keep on our box when not in use.

Arrived with all crayons in tact. No breaks, fractures, or missing crayons. There were also no duplicates. I recommend people look for subtle differences in the glitter/metallic colors. These crayons impressed a group of 10-11 year old girls. These eagle-eyed young ladies verified the color differences, correct number, and unlike markers - none were dried upon arrival! I don’t enjoy coloring but love crayons. I was concerned based on reviews that highlighted poor packaging and broken crayons. These arrived in a box with airbags. They were sent via UPS therefore went to my alternate pick-up location. They were treated well by their handlers.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

First off, I love crayola brand. They color smoothly and you can always melt down the little pieces you would normally throw away and create a new crayon. When I saw this ultimate crayon collection with carry case and all I was so happy, especially with the price, and I knew my daughter would LOVE it. She does by the way. Lol I think there was only one crayon that had a slightly broken tip but not a big deal.

Great collections of crayons

I have been coloring for meditation for several years. I have an extensive colored pencil collection. This past August, I decided that I, as an adult, was worth a new box of crayons. I order the 64 pack with the built in sharpener. I've LOVED that one, too My life is fairly chaotic and stress filled. Using crayons to color has been a way to connect with that little girl who was told what, where, how and when to color. I never knew she resented the rules of coloring. In a world with little control, I CAN control my choices when I color. It's not a small thing. I ordered this to supplement my previous order. This collection is awesome! The addition of colors, metallic/glitter crayons and more is a feast for my imagination. One note about crayons vs pencils. I like the crayons. They provide texture and rich colors.

Most variety in a currently-available Crayola set

Crayola Ultimate Crayon Collection consists of 152 crayons in a carrying caddy + removable sharpener. I uploaded a few pictures to show the actual size of the collection vs the 64- and 24-count crayon packs. Pros: - 152 crayons: 120 "regular" colors, 16 "Scintilliants" (shimmer), and 16 "metallic" - Biggest variety set currently commercially available from Crayola Cons: - Carrying case isn't see-through, so as the crayons wear down to the paper-level, the caddy becomes useless The most similar product on the market is the Crayola 52-0029 Crayola 150-Count Telescoping Crayon Tower, Storage Case, Sharpener. The tower has two fewer crayons, but the clear case might be somewhat more useful if you plan on continuing to use the caddy (and don't eventually just go to a small box to rummage through like everyone else). At $14.99 for the 152-crayon Ultimate vs $14.97 for the 150-crayon Tower, it's a toss-up. Regardless, this is still a great gift, and one that won't break the bank.

152 crayons

I read the reviews before I bought this set of 152 crayolas, even the ones that the people were not happy with what they bought. The ratio between the happy people and the not so happy people was quite a bit, enough for me to purchase this set of crayolas. I stated using them tonight on my adult coloring books and I am very happy with them. I found them to color like the ones I used when I was growing up. Before I received these in the post I purchased a 64 count at the dollar store and those are only good for craft project that you have to melt them. I have been able to get good coverage from these, also I like the glitter crayolas. Those do leave a few clumps on the paper that have to be b\brushed away. I don't think they have the glitter in the crayola quite right yet but enough for me. I haven't used the sharpener yet so I can't commend on that. On whole I am very happy with my purchase

Love this monster box of colors.

I gave away my original crayons to an ailing friend along with an adult coloring book. Last week I wanted to paint with crayons but no crayons! I saw this set and ordered it. Wow. Love it. And the painting I did of a pear looks like oil. Colors are marvelous. There are also metallic and glitter colors. May I make a suggestion to the manufacturer? Please package these according to hue/color. I spent a good half hour sorting these....but then I am a Virgo! Also need two whites and two blacks. I showed this off to my weekly all-media art class.

A great set!

I love the variety! I have 151colours. I got 2 white, but that's fine as I use the White for blending. There is glittery colour, metallic colours, neons as well as a great range of other colours. I love been creative with this set.

Who Doesn't Love Crayola?

I'm sure someone, somewhere doesn't, because....people. Am I right? The point is, the crayons I buy today are the same quality Binney & Smith are known for since I was eating them and shoving them up my nose in kindergarten. I use them for wax seal stamps, rather than paying the ridiculous $1 and up for crayon-sized sealing wax "candles", an idea that also affords me a choice of 152 beautiful colors by which to match my stationery. Yay! Order fulfillment and shipping were likewise stellar. I got what I ordered, when it was expected to be delivered. I'd have to look really hard to find a single thing wrong with any part of my experience with this order.
