THE BEST JUICER!
Love it! Easy disassembly and reassembly. Easy clean. We use it every day and seldom throw away any part of produce. The first month this enabled me to become a vegan with no backward glances toward meat for a month! ALL my health problems got better, cholesterol, blood pressure, weight, etc. But, after a month I started wondering why I could not eat an occasional egg, milk, or cheese, since they were byproducts that did not require the death of any animal and would be a waste of food resources, otherwise. A friend told me that a vegetarian could eat them, so I took the path more frequently traveled. Moderation has been my slogan and my blood workups have remained within acceptable parameters. Isn't your health worth the price of this dependable appliance? I spent half a day researching juicers and looking them over in stores. I decided that a masticator was superior to centrifugal and blender designs and found NO negative reviews for this particular product/model. I wholeheartedly agree with those reviews and recommend this machine! Oh, there was one review that could be classified as negative, but I suspect their review was written before they bothered to read the instructions. One last thing, the larger/wider throat IS worth the extra $$$.

Slooow masticating as recommended; EASY to clean up!
I like the heavy-duty design of the base of machine but the lightness of the rest of the pieces. Easy to put together first time and got the hang of it quickly. My daughter’s is super fast with a loud motor but that is supposed to be bad for the efficacy of the juiced product (high blended =heat) and hers is harder to clean up. Using this forever since Ocular Melanoma diagnosis; it’s change diet and other protocol or cancer will metasticize eventually. I’m sold on juicing, short-long fasts, NO sugar of course and no animal fats or dairy products (look up casein protein (found in milk) and cancer. Chris Beat Cancer podcast is awesome for lots of preventative and curing cancer. To your health!

Best juicer ever!
I got this for my girlfriend and I when we wanted to start eating healthier. I did a lot of research and found this to be the best one on the market. It is way more expense than most juicers out there. But if you have the money to invest in a great product that will last a long time and meet every expectation you have then this is the one you will have to purchase. It comes with many different attachments to do things like make peanut butter or pasta, but we mostly use it for juicing. It is amazing how much this machine can take with just a plastic drill piece. We find it works great with hard vegetables like carrots, raw beets, and ginger. We usually put our apples in with every part of it and just cut into pieces that will fit in the juicer opening. We do this with many fruits and vegetables to make sure we are getting all the nutrients and juice possible. My girl friend even likes to put the beet stems in (minus the leaves since she says it gives the juice a different taste) the juicer with the beets. We purchased a book called juicing with the Omega juicer since we were first timers to the juicing world. It really helped get to know what our machine did best for us. But going online and reading articles and watching YouTube videos for free would help to. Just learn about what this juicer can do for you because everything it does is amazing! I also want to note that this juicer does do wheat-grass. Just be careful though that you don't put too much in at a time. I found out that it will get tangled up in the drill piece and knotted up if you put too much into it at one time. I had to keep taking the juicer apart to get all the grass pieces out that were just wrapping themselves around the drill piece. It worked great after I figured this out but you might want to start with small batches and see where that takes you. It helps if you are putting bigger things like oranges or apples through with the wheat-grass. But if you want a fresh wheat grass juice, definitely start small. And don't think that all the stuff that comes out the other end is a waste! If I am making a juice with carrots and beets, I will juice just them first and save the shredded pieces that are left over and put them on my salads. Nothing goes to waste with this machine if you don't want it. You can also you the shredded left overs for composite, which I am really thinking we might do for the spring! One more note: When putting things like oranges, lemons, grapes, and other soft fruits or vegetables, make sure to put some hard fruits or vegetables through with them. Alternate the density of your fruits and vegetables because sometimes the softer ones will clog up the strainer and not get pushed out the other end of the juicer.

Money Well Spent!
Omega NC900HDC surpassed our expecations. This is our second juicer and better than our Breville (the Juice Fountain) in every possible way. Pros: 1. Very efficient in extracting juice with limited fiber and waste. No need to run extract a second time because everything is really dry. 2. Cleaning a lot easier than our Breville centrifugal 3. Build quality is solid 4. 15 year warranty 5. Juiced wheatgrass with no issues. 6. Juices greens such as spinach, kale, bok choy with no problems. I can't wait to make sorbets and nut butters. You can make pastas and grind coffee beans too. If you are serious about juicing, then this is money well spent. I regret buying the Breville Juice Fountain. The biggest drawback with Breville is that extract (pulp) is wet which means wasted produce and juice. The Omega NC900HDC is awesome. Enough said.

Beats the Old Centrifugal Juicer by a Mile
We've used an Omega 1000 (centrifugal juicer) daily for over 30 years and always liked it. Increasingly, however, it would easily get out of balance and require that I hold it down while my wife fed it. After considerable research, I bought the Omega NC900HDC. My only regret is that I suffered so long with the old juicer. This juicer does everything better and faster. It extracts more juice, is quieter, does everything from pineapple to carrots to kale with ease, is a breeze to cleanup, and doesn't warm the juice.

We are SO pleased with our Omega
We are SO pleased with our Omega! We have used it to juice, make fresh fruit ice-cream, make nut butters & fettuccine noodles. It has met all of my expectations and it is so easy to take apart, clean and put back together. I have owned a commercial Champion juicer and was frustrated with it on many occasions. We love that the Rpms are so low on this juicer and helps keeps the nutrients longer. LOVE LOVE LOVE this juicer!! The only thing I'm frustrated with is that the book that came with it shows and talks about a strainer, but ours didn't come with a strainer nor can we find one on amazon to purchase additionally.

Works well, but juice screen broke after a few uses
I like the way this juicer works. The auger is the same size as the 8006, but the schute is a little bigger, allowing you to feed it larger pieces of food. I also have the 8006, and have used it for over 6 years. The juice screen on the NC900 came apart after about a week of use. The attached photo shows the juice screen from my old 8006 and from my new NC900 - you can see the pieces of the NC900. I can put it back together and it works fine. But, I am concerned one of the little pieces will go down my disposer. I contacted Omega about this and have not heard back, and it has been 2 weeks since I contacted them. Bottom line, the juicer works as expected, but the quality of manufacture is not as expected. UPDATE: I contacted Omega again, through their customer service portal instead of via e-mail. They responded quickly and shipped me a replacement part.

Worth the money.
Wonderful juicer. Makes fresh, cool in temperature juices that holds the nutritional content of your produce. Way easy to use, fast clean up then their other models. No metallic taste like I was getting from the older champion I was using. Works best on celery (one whole stick at a time), alternating leafy greens and grapes together. Seems to struggle with soft things like cucumbers and apples. Seems best to have patience, gently tap your produce down with the pusher verses using any sort of fource. Having things cut in thinner long slices works better than small chunks. At least that has been my experience. It took me about an hour and 15 minuets from start to finish making 64 oz of juices. I made 4 different kinds. Not bad time for personal use but would take to long if your looking to use it for a business.

Way better then my Breville!
We use this juicer for celery juice or wheatgrass juice. (Most powerful elixirs on the planet!) The Omega creates almost 30% more juice then my Breville high speed juicer. It takes slightly longer, but it's well worth it. Celery juice first thing in the morning pretty much guarantees that your day is going to be the best day of your life. It's crazy alkalizing and puts you into zen blissfulness. Wheatgrass juice helps you detox from flouride (which causes acne and skin problems) in addition to the other health benefits. Needless to say, this juicer makes it easy to create both juices. Super easy to clean, too. That's always an important facet. I simply spray a few pieces with hot water and I'm set. Then run them in the dishwasher once a week for a deeper clean. If you live in a city with hard water, you'll probably need to run in the dishwasher daily. Another thing I like is the juice seems much greener and denser. Seems like it's more nutritious. I did a thorough review of all juicers on the market, and then reviewed the Omega line. This type of juicer creates the least amount of heat, so it's less damaging to the veggies. And it came in as number one for best consumer reviews. I chose the NC900HDC model because it's heavy duty, has a bigger chute thing at the top, and the parts are BPA free. Juice recipes: Celery and nothing else - best possible juice you can make. Great for detox, cleansing, organ movement, stomach acid, and hydration. (Thanks for the tip Anthony Williams) Celery, cucumber, and kale stems - great for a morning wake me up and ultra hydration and nourishment. I think kale is highly nutritious, but it's important to eat the fiber too. So if you save the stems and eat the leaves, the stems come in handy for juicing! Wheatgrass shots - sort of like an expresso shot. It packs a punch and will detox you from fluoride and metals. It's powerful, so maybe start with half a shot. Optional: add a lemon and/or lime for citrus love, to kill bacteria, and for extra hydration. (Bacterium hates citrus!!) Additional tips: Absolutely get a small strainer (see photo). You want the juice to be as bioavailable as possible without activating your digestive system. It's night and day. Without a strainer, I could drink maybe 8-12oz at a time. With a strainer, I can pound 24oz on an empty stomach. When cleaning, push the catcher bin under the juicer to catch dripping juice and save yourself a paper towel. Do this while you drink and clean up. See photo Update April 2019: I've juiced every single morning since I've bought this. I'll never go back. Daily wake up at 2:45, drink juice by 3am, then meditate with a belly full of bliss.. then start my day! Stress and anxiety can't touch me! (Side note, what are people juicing to break their screens? I've had zero problems with any of my parts since day one and I use daily.. sometimes 2-3x a day too.)

GREAT JUICER!
I'm really happy with this juicer. I was skeptical at first and started to return it immediately before using it because it is much lighter than my Omega 6004 and the plastic chrome casing is flimsy. I was also skeptical that I wouldn't need a strainer. Anyway, it produces very dry pulp, does not foam up, and even though the screen area on the strainer that goes over the auger is much smaller, it doesn't back up. That small screen makes clean up a breeze. I have juiced every day about 5 pounds of carrots plus leafy green for the last two years without fail. I have had a couple of different juicers and this one outperforms them all. This juicer will cut juicing time in half. That's a big bonus when you juice 10 glasses every day before going to work. THIS IS A KEEPER!
