I bought two cords. One for my son and one for his friend. They were lead backstage technicians for their high school show choirs along with a few other students. They had been doing it for four years while also performing. We thought it would be nice to recognize their service at graduation with cords. They went well with the other cords they received. Purchased this in lieu of the Phi Alpha Delta honor cords. The quality was comparative for less than half the cost. One of my friends purchased directly from PAD website... the only notable difference was that the 'official' PAD honor cords had a gold colored string wrapping around the tassel portion, whereas this one has a purple one. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and that I didn't have to pay shipping :)
