Love this percolator....No more bitter coffee. Need to remember to use the coarse ground coffee, not the grind for drip makers. The full pot is not clumsy or heavy like the carafe for the drip makers. My 90 year old mom easily lifts the full 12 cup pot. I am glad to have chosen this percolator. I have use it for 3weeks now, every day and is on most of the day keeping the coffee nice and hot, but not scorched. This is a great percolator.

I live the taste of the coffee this percolator brews. I use the same brand of coffee I gave always used in a Mr. Coffee machine, but this percolator makes it taste so much better. After 2-1/2 years of daily use this percolator serves up hot coffee every day...no leaks, no problems encountered. I love it!

This should hopefully be my last word on this percolator. It's a great percolator that brews quickly. Requires even less coffee than my hamilton beach one, 3 scoops equals 12 cups of bold flavorful coffee. The heating element did not go out as I previously stated, it was the outlet. it has a microwave and a toaster oven on the same circuit. Moving the thing to another outlet fixed the problem. I'm not certain it is really stainless steal, as a magnet will stick to it, although weakly. But the parts are all solid metal. It stays cool even if left on for hours. Except for the pot itself, that gets quite hot, but the base where all the electronics are stays cool. My hamilton beach percolator gets hot at the base. The coffee does not scorch as another reviewer stated. It will leave a very thin film of coffee residue on the bottom if left on for over 5 hours, but that scrubs off easily with dish soap. It's light weight, solidly built, and brews fantastic fofee. My only complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the spring on the stem is quite loose. A 40 scent one at your local hardware store takes care of that nicely. The stem does not bend, even with deliberate attempts, so all the parts are solidly built. It scrubs off nicely, and does not show fingerprints, and the spout does not drip.

Excellent customer service from manufacturer

Purchased several times. Heats well, easy to clean. Do not wash the lid in dishwasher. The plastic cap will become brittle hence the several purchases. The second item became defective after a few uses. Called customer service they had a replacement sent out immediately with out any issues.

Great coffee brew

Great coffee brew. Way better then drip coffee. Also uses less coffee , drip maker 1/2 cup for 10 cups. This one makes 12 cups with 1/2 cup, just as strong or stronger. We had a couple of cups left so I made iced coffee and that was delicious. Checked blood pressure today, it was good but heart rate was up 12 beats a minute.😂😂

Best percolator in years....until the bottom separated from the top and the wires hung out

Best ever had. Hot delicious coffee. I only hope it’s always available I’ve used many brands trading Cuisinart in every 7-8 months as it doesn’t last This is high quality inside & out. They should all be made this well can’t beat the price either I tried to upload the photos of the broken pot after 9 months . actually 8 as it started making weird noises a month ago but I couldn't upload the photos. Computer trouble.

I just finished brewing our first cup of coffee in our new perculator and it tastes FANTASTIC! The MaxiMatic is really good in all aspects. Easy to read inside the perk water levels, shiny and bright finish,perk sits on a base and can be removed and placed anywhere,auto shut-off on warm phase and dry coffee level so no fear of fire or burnt cords!, I have never heard of this perk and have no idea who makes but it's well made. Finally,will this be the one we've been looking for!..........we hope! Will update this after 6 months. UPDATE: this is a great coffeemaker and brews fabulous coffee! You can remove the plastic bubbler top with a glass top Fits-All 7/8" size. You can by one at Amazon.

BEST COFFEE EVER WITH THIS FAST & EASY PERCOLATOR!

When yet another drip drip plastic coffee machine died - this time with a loud bang - we decided there had to be something better ... AND THIS IS IT! Everything old is new again and this Elite percolator coffee maker takes the traditional machine and brings it into the modern age. Firstly, it is clean without any plastic insides - stainless steel and well made. Secondly, it is easy and fast - we had our first cup of delicious rich tasting coffee in about 6 minutes. And, thirdly, it takes up much less room on the counter with very little clean up. And what really put the topping on the cuppa, was having it delivered on Sunday... without a coffee maker for 2 days, seeing that USPS van outside, in the middle of a snowstorm, made our day. It was the best Sunday in a long time... stuck inside with a blizzard outside but enjoying a movie while drinking the best coffee ever. Even bad coffee probably tastes pretty good made in this machine.

A really great retro style coffee pot

Love this coffee pot. I use it twice a day. I didn’t think i’d Like the charge plate but I do, it allows you to bring the pot to the table without the cord. I just keep it plugged in all the time, then place the pot on the plate when ready to brew. It has the old fashioned “perk” sound and makes a full pot in short order. There’s something neat about pouring from a spouted pot versus a regular old glass pot. Before this coffee maker, I was using a 1950’s model which gave out. The only reason I gave one star less was because of the material... the old ones were made from heavy stainless.
